It’s more like the entire Texas offense has been in a choke collar all year because the 3 year starting QB can’t throw an accurate long ball, can’t run without getting injured, can’t throw receivers open, can’t move, throws pick-sixes. Best O line in college, one of the best receiving corps, and it’s been largely wasted.

Five espn writers rated the top 50 players in the playoffs. Eight QBs made their ranking - Ewers was not included. If you considered QBs on teams that did not make the playoffs, many more would also be rated by excperts above Ewers. Sark made a HUGE mistake by not going with Manning from the outset of the season. Manning would have picked up experience rapidly and led the Longhorns to probable victories over Georgia. If Sark sticks with gimpy Ewers out of loyalty, he will let the rest of the team and the fan base down. Ewers should use the portal and grab what money he can get in that way. I doubt he has any realistic NFL future.
