VHS Tape Commercial 1985

Almost all of my VHS TV recordings were recorded with Scotch tapes (tv shows, movies, specials). I have kept mine in excellent condition and I still have about 50 remaining from my original collection of over 500 (1987 to mid 2000s).

Use your VHS vcr videorecorders and blank VHS tapes to get even with the news media and tell your friends to just use their vcr videorecorders !

That Was A Bit High Especially Back Then...And The Tape Head Cleaner Was Almost Double The Price Of Thr $7.99 Tape...

Scotch was my favorite Brand to record on & many Home Video Manufacturers used Scotch also.
Maxell & TDK were pretty good brands.

I also have my Scotch head cleaner, which I bought from the now-defunct Jamesway department store. The Jamesway logo was present when the head cleaner tape finished.

MrWolfSnack I know that my mom used to pay $15 each for Memorex and Sony blank VHS tapes in 1985, which would be close to $40 today. The Sony brand blanks were pretty decent, whereas the Memorex blanks played ok at first, but began to exhibit signs of stick shed syndrome after about 10 or so years.

VHS tapes are outdated. I used the PVR to record shows from PBS, YTV, Knowledge, Oprah Winfrey Network, and many others (also commercials including the Pringles spicy nacho stack).

I mean this is what inspires Analog Horror in the first place. Old 80s-90s TV recordings on VHS/Beta. Except this is real and not horror at all. Unless you find Cleaning tapes to be something horrifying. :V
