  • This video has been created for those who are learning Japanese language.
    In this video, almost all of kanji in the Japanese subtitles are given furigana.
    So it's perfect for people who are not good at kanji.
    You can also learn Japanese that are actually used.
    Let's listen to real Japanese that is not in ordinary Japanese textbooks.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I'm paying a lot of attention to Japanese subtitles. But I'm not good at writing English, so there may be some mistakes in English subtitles.
    Please consider English subtitles to be your help only if you don't understand my Japanese.
      @@shirleyyi9140 I think the one advantage that I have is that, way before I even started with grammar, I was studying Kanji via Wanikani. That helped me a lot throughout the course of Genki 1. And don't get me wrong, I can't just listen to this video in the background and understand everything perfectly - I have to actively watch, read the Japanese subtitles and translate a word every now and then or look up an unknown grammar structure. As long as you study hard and diligently, you'll get there!
      @@ambtn Thanks a lot for such detailed explanation and advice! I am Chinese and Kanji didn't look intimidating to me when I began learning Japanese...but I don't know if it's just me, I actually think that sometimes sort of knowing the Kenji characters misled me more than they helped...Thanks again! I will work hard at it~
    I've decided to learn Japanese exactly three weeks ago and I understood more than 50% of the conversation already thanks to particle marker (wa / ga / wo / ni etc.). Made notes and the fact that the person from Belarus was looking for words sometimes helped me immensely to understand the sentence in my head. We need more of this, you're a lifesaver, haha
    Looking forward to more of your videos, subscribed and of course: ありがとうございます ♥
    This is very helpful for listening practice but i think the subs are quite clumsily put on screen, there's really a lot of visual clutter that really distract from the video. Colour coding for the different speakers might be one idea, another could be to include them as closed captions instead and split the English/Japanese text up like that.
    The Ukrainian part of the conversation struck me hard, you said a part where you would look at Google map and see the streets and really admire it, i also do that and i find that cool that other people be doing that. I really thought that i was weird. I really like the streets of Japan as they are so well made, me personally (I don't want any argument). In the area that i live in, I feel like is catering to the cars and not the people who walks in those area.     Thanks! This felt a bit easier than usual, maybe as a foreigner was part of the conversation the topics were very Japanese-Noob-friendly haha. It's nice to understand so much this time.
    On another note, as you said that now corona is over and we can take the test...not sure if i said that theother day already but I tried to look at the tests, to sign up and they were already booked out. I guess many people wanted to take them after the long break...:( I asked in January and they said they were not yet ready for sign up and when I checked again at the end of March all spots were taken. Now I have to wait for a year :| hm...
      @@UzumakiHarutoJP you're well informed. XD you're right, usually there is two. Germany have two (? Maybe more) towns that have the exam. Düsseldorf actually has the usual two per year. But the only one that i can get to more or less okeyish is Hamburg who wrote they'd not do the winter one this year :( maybe with the high demand they'll change that but i doubt it.
    • @UzumakiHarutoJP
      @UzumakiHarutoJP Рік тому +1
      @@Slewenski ahh I see, that's unfortunate :/ well, at the very least, it's not like there's any rush, right? Taking it next year just means you can aim for a higher level and then it can be potentially more useful (getting a job with an N2/N1 certificate for example), or alternatively (if you're not doing JLPT to go to school in Japan) you can just take the BJT (business japanese proficiency test) or JLT (japanese language test) which may be better/cheaper alternatives to taking the JLPT.
      And if it's not for work or school, there's honestly no need to take a paid test, in my opinion.
    Why are your japanese subtitles hard coded? Please make it available in the list of subtitles in UA-cam CC caption because i am sure that many of us could eventually need to extract the subtitles for sentence mining purposes. You already have the hardcoded japanese subtitles so please make this file available as a selectable subtitle in the youtube menu thanks
    そういえばJLPTについて私にはとりあえず興味はありません。気落ちやすい人ですので、ペラペラになってから、その時は試験を受けるかもしれないw
    動画ありがとう!東京のバー、全部室内禁煙ですか?
      全部の店ではないです。
      いわゆる British style bar では 禁煙率は40~50%らしいですが、今後はもっと増えて70%ぐらいの店でタバコが吸えなくなるらしいです。居酒屋(Japanese style dining bar)では タバコが吸える店のほうが多いです。気になるなら店に入る前に店員に確認するといいですよ。
