'Dunhinda Kithul Products' a venture by W.A.B. Wijesooriya brings the authentic Sri Lankan flavour to the market in its purest form. Wijesooriya entered the business world three years ago, fulfilling his entrepreneurial dreams and exploring a new uncharted path. Working with the hardworking farmers of the Kithul industry ‘Dunhinda Kithul Products’ provides unadulterated, locally produced Kithul in various forms.
This ‘social businessman’ also uses his enterprise as a platform to help the hardworking Kithul farmers by sharing a certain percentage of his earnings with them, making sure that they receive a reasonable income for their contributions towards his business. Wijesooriya has now grown his business with a large customer base that appreciates the true beauty of the unique and traditional taste of Kithul.
Dunhinda Kithul is a grantee of the Enterprise Project which is funded by the Delegation for the European Union in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
