I think your book was delivered to our house this week. I think my husband ordered it for my birthday or Christmas. I have to be good & not snoop. Oh the pressure!!!!
Haha awesome!!
Huh, didn’t know that I’m someone who would buy original art, but just ordered your “teal peaks”. Thank you!
Omg that's you? Fantastic!! Thank you ❤️❤️😀😀
Thank you so much!! This is so helpful. "Acrylics that works with colour pencils" could really be its own video. I have to do some tests with my Flashe paints now ☺
Update: It worked wonderfully!! Even with a thick layer of paint. I really need to invest in these they're so much cheaper than those tiny tubes of acrylic gouache.
Glad it was helpful! You're right, should be its own video!
Love your videos, so relaxing.
Glad you like them!
Just put the pot of coffee on.. can't wait to watch..
Hope you enjoyed!
I’m waiting for your beautiful book to come! I had to have both! The color mixes!🌈
I found a tube of the Holbein luminous rose. I’ve been looking for the perfect pink and knew you would find bright rose. It’s perfect. Also picked up that big Stalogy book. OMG. It’s so perfect! With so many pages. Now, I’m having fun! I have the cradled wood in a few sizes from class I took with Betty Franks. I thought of you when taking the class because of her color choices. Your little paintings are so gorgeous! So glad you’re enjoying experimenting. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much Susan!! Enjoy all the goodies❤️😀
beautiful and informative! 😊❤
Thanks Judith!
i realy like painting with acrylics o canvas, but today i tride simple aquarell in 2 years and i realy liked it
Great!
I also like drawing and painting on thin paper 🤭 Agree that you won't feel fussy/precious about it and make more art in them. Haha
Absolutely!
i use the blackberry colorsoft for shading, its so nice. ive just been mostly doing digital stuff this month, but im going to get the coloured pencils out again soon
Have fun!
Hi Irit, yes, a comparison of matte paints would be great. Have you tried Matisse paints? They’re an Australian brand, acrylic, matte. I am torn between those and the Flashe paints, sadly I can’t buy them all. Happy Holidays 🎄
Sorry no, I haven't seen them anywhere here on Europe😕
@@iritlandgraf Jackson’s Art have them.
Cool I'll take a look, thanks!
Wonderful video! Just loved it. idk...what is it about us who die for " crinkly" paper??!?😍
I don't know! It's the weirdest thing!
Hi Irit, have you tried the Rose tyrien from Linel gouache line of Lefranc Bourgeois? It think it's a color you might love, the quality is amazing and the price here in Europe is great 😊
Thanks! Will check it out for sure😀
@Irit Landgraf you should, in their line they also have some lovely muted colors that are just lovely
Yay! So many delightful art supplies to drool over. 🤤 I'm also obsessed with the Derwent Drawing Pencils. The Coloursoft line seems to be closest in texture and has gorgeous colors so I picked up a few of those. Now is also a great time to grab last year's Hobonichis as they are on clearance lots of places!
For the Lukas Indigo acrylic, can you mix the matte medium in with the acrylic instead of putting it on top?
You can but it's still not completely matte😕 thanks for the info and great tip about the hobonichi!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love using Tomoe River paper and Stalogy for sketch and art and lettering too. Something glorious about the papers. The Hobonichi is still in TRP currently but in 2024/2025 all their planners will move to Sanzen TRP because Sanzen bought the TRP rights etc when it was going to be discontinued. It’s very similar but slightly more tooth and less ghosting than the original. Just FYI Stalogy isn’t TRP. It’s their own proprietary paper but it’s very similar and almost as amazing.
Speaking of paper…what paper are you using in the Frida book? I have your book so if it’s in there I apologize…haven’t gotten to that part yet 😊
Thanks for sharing all this helpful info!
I'm using whatever I have on hand, the easiest is a 30x40cm block because then I can just cut it in the middle and have two perfectly fitting pages. I think currently I'm going through a pad of Hahnemühle Britannia hot pressed paper, works well through the printer and for swatches. Hope that helps!
@@iritlandgraf thank helps so much! Thank you for being such an inspiration and just a joy to watch. Your art and your videos just make me happy 😊
I'm so glad! Thank you for the kind words ❤️❤️
Have you tried the JoSonja background colors in 6 oz bottles.. very matte finish ?
Nope, never heard of them! Are they good?
@@iritlandgraf yes.. they have great vintage muted colors and we can get a 6 oz bottle for around $6.00..
Will look into it! Thanks!
The link for the cradled wood is missing. : )
Sorry, I don't have a link but all art supplies shops have similar items, or Amazon for more affordable options
I don't believe that the Turner gouache is lightfast. I've learned to be very careful with gouache.
Thanks for sharing! From what I've read it is lightfast with the exception for certain pigment, same as any other media 😬
