SINCE DAWN OF TIME
THE FATE OF MAN IS THAT OF LICE
EQUAL AS PARASITES
AND MOVING WITHOUT EYES
A DAY OF RECKONING
WHEN PENENCE IS TO BURN
COUNT DOWN TOGETHER NOW
AND SAY THE WORDS
THAT YOU WILL LEARN
HELL SATAN -- ARCHANGELO
HELL SATAN -- WELCOME YEAR ZERO
HELL SATAN --ARCHANGELO
HELL SATAN -- WELCOME YEAR ZERO
CRESTFALLEN KINGS AND QUEENS
COMFORTING IN THEIR FAITH
UNBEKNOWNST TO THEM
IS THE PRESENCE OF THE WRAITH
SINCE FATE OF MAN IS EQUAL
TO THE FATE OF LICE
AS NEW DAWN RISES
YOU SHALT RECOGNIZE
NOW BEHOLD THE LORD OF FLIES
HELL SATAN -- ARCHANGELO
HELL SATAN -- WELCOME YEAR ZERO
HELL SATAN
HE WILL TREMBLE THE NATIONS
KINGDOMS TO FALL ONE BY ONE
VICTIM TO FALL FOR TEMPTATIONS
A DAUGHTER TO FALL FOR A SON
THE ANCIENT SERPENT DECEIVER
TO MASSES STANDING IN AWE
HE WILL ASCEND TO THE HEAVENS
ABOVE THE STARS OF GOD
HELL SATAN -- ARCHANGELO
HELL SATAN -- WELCOME YEAR ZERO
HELL SATAN -- ARCHANGELO
HELL SATAN -- WELCOME YEAR ZERO
Imagine this song in a crowded Walmart, a cozy coffee shop, or piped in through the streets of Disney Land.
I would love to be at that coffee shop. or better, own it :D
thanks for those images! :)
Well... I've made sure the good people of Curry's have heard it several times... This, Alice Cooper's Pick Up The Bones, and Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar...
So wish it was played in my apt building
Imagining a Walmart, management would panic and try to shut down the intercom. Half the staff would have their hands over their mouths frittering about. Slightly less than half of the staff would act as though nothing was happening or not notice. Most of the customers would follow suit, rush out of the store covering the ears of their dirty, misshapen children.
All except for Michael in returns, who is bobbing his head to the beat with a toothy grin, and a customer with a gaunt face and long hair inexplicably in the women's underwear section emphatically air-guitaring with his pointer, and pinky fingers and thumbs extended.
Beavis. It was playing at my PT appt. I loved it. I was alone in my opinion. Lol. Old ppl were like "did that say lucifer and satan?" I said, " sure did". Love it. Ghost writes the catchiest shit.
I remember when I went to see them 2 years ago, on the exact beat of the chorus, there were some gigantic flames rising behind the drummer... Needless to say, you felt the heat from the crowd.
I saw them for the first time back in February in the front row and the exact same thing happened like five times throughout the song all the way across the back of the stage and really high up it was badass🤘🔥
Honestly I don't know how Mountain (the drummer ghoul) hasn't caught on fire yet. Same with Swiss
I thought you said dumpster and I was like who lit the trash cans
@@WisteriaSongs Im pretty sure the pyrotechs are put at far enough distance to where the ghouls are safe however it does look like Cirrus’ cape was singed a bit during the last few US Imperatour shows. So maybe there was a point where the pyros were too close. Still though props to them withstanding the heat since the backing vocals, keyboardists, percussionists and drummer are closest.
poor Mountain must’ve gotten so hot from that
In the last chorous, the choir chants “Antichristus”. Never noticed it until now!
Yo tampoco, lo se por su comentario.
They most definitely are. It's hard to hear without headphones. But yes they are. Nice catch!
Holy shit, I always thought they were saying “1 2 3 4” I’m never gonna unhear it now! That’s so sick!

There are some pretty good Christians metal songs
Tis was i jesus who made this song!
i wanna go to their concerts so bad waaa
Same
I tried. Bought the tickets. Travelled a long way. Had to get a hotel and everything. We were removed from the line when we were in que to have our tickets stamped after getting through the security check point, and escorted out because "there was a weird smell to us". Yeah, the two dreadlocked guys got picked up from the metal crowd, because some other people were smoking weed outside the venue, and the bouncers were like "it's probably them right there". And no we weren't high, nor were we drunk.
(Doesn't have anything to do with the band, but goddamn I'm so bitter and sad. I waited for 6 years to see them, and there's nowhere to vent about this...)
@@NiVoldiza damn dude, im so sorry to hear that :/

I'm a Christian, living in a country where people don't listen or even know such music exists, in a country that judged everyone and everything. If i hear someone playing this song I would love them for life or even playing any ghost songs, as a Christian I want to play this song on blast at a church. "Infestissumam" is the second studio album by the Swedish heavy metal band Ghost, also known as Ghost B.C. in the United States. The album was released on April 10, 2013, through the record label Loma Vista Recordings. It is often referred to as the band's "sophomore psalm" because it followed their debut album, "Opus Eponymous," which gained them significant attention in the metal community.
Here are some key details about "Infestissumam":
Musical Style: Ghost is known for its unique blend of heavy metal and rock, characterized by melodic and catchy tunes combined with satanic imagery and lyrics. "Infestissumam" continues in this vein, featuring a mix of heavy guitar riffs, eerie keyboards, and the distinctive vocals of Papa Emeritus II (the band's frontman at the time).
Concept and Themes: The album explores themes of Satanism, the occult, and the church in a satirical and theatrical manner. It often takes on a playful and subversive tone, with the band members adopting the persona of the "Nameless Ghouls" and Papa Emeritus II serving as the anti-Pope figure.
Tracklist: "Infestissumam" includes the following tracks:
"Infestissumam"
"Per Aspera ad Inferi"
"Secular Haze"
"Jigolo Har Megiddo"
"Ghuleh/Zombie Queen"
"Year Zero"
"Idolatrine"
"Body and Blood"
"Depth of Satan's Eyes"
"Monstrance Clock"
Reception: The album received generally positive reviews from both critics and fans. It showcased the band's ability to create memorable and accessible songs within the context of heavy metal and gained them an even larger following.
Controversy: "Infestissumam" also stirred some controversy due to its provocative themes and imagery. Several retailers refused to stock the album, and some live shows were met with protests from religious groups.
Success: The album was commercially successful, debuting at number one on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart and number 28 on the Billboard 200 chart. It helped solidify Ghost's position as one of the leading bands in the modern metal scene.
Legacy: "Infestissumam" remains a significant album in Ghost's discography and played a crucial role in establishing their theatrical and satirical approach to metal music. The band has continued to release successful albums, with each one building upon their unique persona and style.
Overall, "Infestissumam" is an important chapter in Ghost's musical journey, showcasing their ability to blend accessible melodies with heavy and dark themes while maintaining a strong visual and theatrical presence.

Debating on blasting this like I forgot to put my earbuds in just to see how my cultish Christian grandma would react.
For my A Level Art I'm focusing on My Favourite Band, and I chose Ghost BC. For my first final piece I focused on Year Zero and Bielak's artwork for it, which is shown in this video, and I am currently drawing a piece that is twice the size of me that depicts a huge being sitting on a church while Belial, Behemoth, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Satanas and Lucifer are around them. I researched the different demons (the versions I'm drawing come for the Dictionnaire Infernal) and tried to draw direct inspiration from the artwork and the lyrics of the song. So, thank you Ghost, for making me inspiring me greatly through my art!
maybe you could show us what it looks like when you are done ;D
