Put a A bunch of layers of a bunch of different things and see how many layers of various items the dart will go through. You can even make a game where you have to guess how many layers of each thing the dart will go through.

This is the one. You start at the top with something less dense and increase the density as you move down. Separate each layer by a couple of layers and you got a fair dinkum experiment. I'd suggest a mattress at the top and a hardwood like mahogany at the bottom.

I'm glad I found this channel. Its so satisfying to watch things being dropped from high above.
The problem with the dart is either it will destroy everything without a big impact zone or it will get destroyed (if hittig an anvil at least the sharp bit will break). So to make the dart effective you need something that is tall. I suggest Gigant dart vs tree or tree stump would be very cool to see. Or any kind of long tall and massive wood. It could split the wood for a great effect.
