My Mom use to Decopauge using fabric and full strength fabric starch right out of the bottle. She did her closet doors using starch and sheets then made curtains to match. She did the same on boxes for her dresser. My point…when you are tired of it, take a damp warm sponge and wet down the wall or item and it will peel right off. So for a temporary decoration try starch and fabric fussy cuts or whole pieces of cotton fabric. It lasts for years and years unless you take it off.

Lehman's in Ohio (?) has a little cast iron skillet --which I believe they call a spoon rest--that might be what you're looking for. LOOOOVE Lehmans!
The Patisse piece was my favorite, the East you tie that napkin and then made it look like a full sheet was amazing

Loved all your hard work. My favs are the cast iron, I the beginning. I would have done that little frying pan too. Also liked the table and the way it came out, especially with the use of molding clay. Ok know this is a decoupage video, but I think I would like to see that yellow basket with crackling to match the napkin pattern. At one time I wouldn't have thought of doing that. Thanks for previous videos about that medium. Yeah I know not my video. I'll be quiet now😁

Hi Brandi, I really loved every single one of your projects today. They all turned out so beautiful, and I love your humour too. I love all the tips you give with doing your decoupage, I need every tip I can get cos I’m not too neat yet with doing it, I love using napkins though so I plan on getting better, lol. Brandi... Do you keep your saw dust after drilling holes? You can keep it in a can or jar. When you need to fill or plug a hole, you add glue to the * crusty would bits and it makes like a paste. I haven't done it yet, but seen it when people are re- doing furniture pieces.❤❤😂🎉

Paper Clay
I’m interested in the clay now is that compatible for glass because I work on bottles and I ❤how your little revamped old shelf came out so cute and I just use paint instead of the wax with my finger pouncer whatever and the trinket box so cute.
My recent video with glass I use paper clay on them!! Check that out and let me know if that answers your questions with how you possibly create glass. If you have more questions just reach out!!
Can I tell you a secret about that 1st black pot? Maybe dont put the white paint on the black pot....just put the clear model podge on the black & then add the floral napkin. Think you would like it much better & flowers would look natural & background would still be black. Give it a try!
Thanks Connie for the tip! I have talked about this in a few videos before! I do a lighter background when using napkins so the napkin shows through. It will get faded out with darker backgrounds. Just a presences for me, plus I had to cover over the paint that was on the pot already so that painted piece didnt show through! Thank you so much for this comment!! Have a great night!!
I think u should decoupage the bottom of the iron and the inside and the bottom of the fry pan...
You are really good at this! One of the best! When you make your clay pieces do you let them dry first and then glue them or do you mold it to your piece before it dries? I'd like to do a bunch of molds at a time and place them aside for later. Thank you.
I mostly mold them so when they dry I can sand them down or add more filler!! I hope that helps! Thank you for this beautiful comment!!
On the last piece where you put paint on the stamp did you use acrylic or chalk? Does it matter which I should use?

Acrylic, but it doesn't really matter is your sealing it!!
Had that staple gun. It’s counter intuitive. The first time I used it I stapled my palm. 🤦🏻♀️
LOL Rae I have a video where i stapled the table and not the project..lol I really love the gun its easy on my hands BUT EVERYTIME I pick this up I have to pause and ask myself if I am holding it right!!..lol
I agree with the others...I don't think the cast iron pieces would even look good decoupaged.
Please don't slow it down. Watching crafters paint an entire is a step below watching paint dry 🥱😫😱😳😱
I am not!! I did this video awhile ago and I adjusted how I filmed which I think gives a better picture that how I was doing it... So, I have not had anyone else complain since, but I am starting to realize ya just can't please everyone, and that's OK. I just do my best
