IMHO the rooms are better themed than most of the Disney hotels. Having no kids under the roof we have never thought about a visit to Legoland, but after your video that may change. Thanks for taking us along Nate.
Their main hotel, closest to their front gate, is amazing. The lobby has a large area for kids to just climb in and build anything they want. The whoopie pad in front of the elevators in that hotel let off the funniest sounds and the elevators have disco lights and music for kids to dance their way up to their floor. The hotel rooms are amazing. They have perfect toilets for the newly potty trained little ones, treasure chests with prizes in them once the kids do what is necessary for them to open them and every day, they'd provide kids drinks and treats for them. Disney really needs to take a lesson from Legoland for the kids. They also have free breakfast for their guests in the form of a great breakfast buffet for the whole family right off the lobby. It wasn't inexpensive, but the whole stay was fantastic!
I agree with you 100% regarding theming in Disneys rooms!! They need to take notes from Legoland! That is what families with kids want to see when they check into a Disney room!!
I recall my 1st visit to Cypress Gardens in 1967. I was 7 yrs old and remember the Southern Belles, who would greet you at various spots throughout the gardens. I think (could be wrong) a chunk of the gardens was demolished to make way for the Lego Land Park but I was happy to see the Banyan Tree remains and the Southern Belles memorialized in Legos. 🤗
Hi in 2007 my husband and I renewed our wedding vows on the lakeside under a gazebo at Magnolia House. I walked down from the house to the lakeside where Phil was waiting with our daughter. We shared Wedding Cake and some Champagne in the Magnolia House after. It was stunning. Great memories, thanks for reminding us. PS Phil was the guy you met at Celebration in London who gave a shout out on your video to us, Claire and Megan! And Megan got her Gracie autograph!! X
Nate you are truly the best at what you do. Yes there are many others out there but none like you! Beautiful soul inside and out! Stay true to you as Im sure you will..thete only one Mr Morrow and we are all blessed because of it! Thank you as always for the sunshine!
Haha thats a stunning Banyan/Ficus. They are parasitic and smother other tree species to reach the light. You can just see the old tree peeking out underneath :)
Nate, if you were impressed by the natural beauty of that botanical garden, it would be great to see you visit one of our National Parks in the future. I can't imagine your reaction the first time you see El Capitan or Half Dome in Yosemite, Old Faithful in Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon (Skywalk reaction would be amazing) or the Giant Redwoods.
I was born and raised in CA, now reside in FL. That's the one thing i miss about CA is the mountains-Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
That mansion was the original location of the tree lighting ceremony every year for the Christmas holidays and they would have carolers sing there during the holidays, as well as having the local high school orchestra and bands come and play holiday music. I played there from 2001- 2003, my senior year being the year they closed for good as Cypress Gardens. It was originally known as the Snively Mansion, named after the citrus family that was big at the time it was built. It was also used for weddings when Cypress Gardens was still Cypress Gardens. I am assuming Legoland doesn't use it much now, and it primarily cast spaces.
My mom and I visited Cypress Gardens in 1979 when they still had models dressed as Southern bells and the ski show. We are from NY and ironically she ran into her cousins there as they were snow birds.
Having a great and fantastic Halloween 🎃 🎃 day in LEGOLAND today I am there passing out candy 🍬🍭🍬🍬 this year there is nonstop passing candy in everywhere this month and Happy Halloween 👻🎃👻 Day to you Nate what is your costume for Halloween day Nate this is Jenna Dabao had fun I am there to having a good vacation to I there to had some Disney Legoland fun park day passing candy is my job and wristbands this year this is Jenna Dabao had fun
I remember coming to Orlando and St Petersburg from the UK in 1984 when I was 11 and going to Cypress gardens, loved the ladies in the beautiful dresses and the water show was amazing. Nate you have made me feel rather nostalgic, thanks
I went to Cypress Gardens in the early 70's. The mansion was part of Cypress Gardens, there were no picnic benches there then. Women dressed in hoop skirts roamed the gardens with parasols and you could take pictures. There was a synchronized swimming team and a water ski show where they formed a pyramid and water skiied.
The mansion was the home of the Polk’s the original owners. That and the gardens are a historical landmarks. Also that was 1 banyan tree, the branches grow out then down into roots for stability
Those rooms are great for families!! My boys refuse to share a bed anymore 🙄 so the bunk beds save my sanity!! And I’m so glad they kept a section of the garden too- that tree is incredible!!
I remember going to Cypress Gardens when I was little. It was so beautiful! The ladies wore those hoop dresses and the ski show. That Banyon Tree was amazing.
those 2 guys were hilarious!! must have been characters in a show.. but you got an extra treat!! what a fun informative video! loved all the yummy treats! and the gardens WOW!! like you said takes your breath away. I love fireworks over the water too.
Ok YUM how fun are the apple fries with ice cream!? I had no idea what all this park had to offer! My nieces and nephews would absolutely go gaga! I’ll have to take them next time they visit! Thanks for featuring it🤗🍏🍨
Wow that was awesome, wanted to add Legoland, to are Disney World Vacation a year ago but when I started watching all the UA-camrs on UA-cam nobody presented it like this , Just googled Legoland and it looked like it was just for children, you Just did an awesome Job of making it so much more, especially with that Cypress garden presentation 😊😊😊🤩👍
I loved seeing Cypress Gardens. Went then on my early teens in the 1970’s. Water shows were good. I’m terrified of snakes and we were walking through a path and a huge one car across in front of us. I ran all the way back to the entrance. Haha
I’ve been bringing my twins to Legoland since 2015 and we have always stayed in the Legoland hotels. Originally was only the other hotel and then the pirate themed came a few years later. They are teenagers now but it remains some of my very favorite memories. That little nook with the bunks was awesome. At the end of the day walking out of the park and right into the hotel was amazing! We had great times there, but it is definitely more fun for the wee ones. That pirate cruise through old cypress gardens was being built a couple of years ago when we were last there. I guess we have to go at least one more time. I love love love that they didn’t just plow cypress gardens down but instead incorporated it! Way to go LEGO company. Glad you had fun at a place so near and dear to my heart ❤️. They grow up so fast 😢❤❤
Thanks for your visit..I'm going to go for sure...love the banyon tree, cruise to the lake and fireworks. Don't they have water rides also? The ski show was what it was all about back in the day. The Magnolia building housed a gift shop and model train layout. The southern Belles would walk around in their beautiful dresses to greet you. The ski show was terrific...my family got into water skiing as a result of it back in the sixties. There was lots of advertisement for Cypress Gardens in the United States. There is a swimming pool in the shape of the state of Florida; Esther Williams was an Olympic star turned movie star...she had a movie shot in this pool. Lots of history, but it went downhill after DisneyWorld came to Florida. Glad to see there is still so much beauty to see...Legoland had promised to allow this area to be open for the public..hasn't happened yet to my knowledge.
YO MR. MORROW You know that scraggly looking worker with glasses and a braid that loaded you onto the Pirate River Quest boat? THAT WAS ME I knew I recognized you from somewhere but I couldn't put my finger on it, I even thought to myself "eyy he timed it right he got the front row" when I was standing on dock cuz I saw your camera 😭 that's crazy dude I'm glad you enjoyed the ride, I don't work there anymore (management was ass), but like I can brag to my mom that you rode PRQ while I was there, she's a huge fan!
I love Legoland ❤️ we have an annual pass as it is very affordable. It is the most beautiful park. I always feel at peace when we go. Apple fries the best ❤ Thanks so much for doing a great video here!
First, I need to say, I love watching you! You are the most positive youtuber! I watch UA-cam to see some cool things and places I probably will never have the opportunity to visit, and you always have a positive spin on them. I visited Legoland in California with my family, and we loved it! However, we have never stayed in the hotel. Wow!
We visited Legoland just after the opened the Legoland Hotel. They didn't have the Pirate wing at the time. The hotel was awesome. Interaction was off the hook. It's been about 9 years and it has expanded quit a bit in that amount of time. We had a lot of fun. Both days there wasn't much of a crowd either and it was in the summer time. A hidden gem in my opinion. Growing up we lived in CA but had family we would come and visit and the one year we visited cypress gardens and it was so awesome. The gardens were so nice, the ski shows were awesome. Have some pretty good memories of that park. We might have even gone there before DW. This was around 1977 timeframe to give you an idea. Thanks for sharing Nate. Actually now thinking of taking my granddaughter there in the next month or two...
Nate, my parents took me to visit Cypress Gardens (from Arkansas) when I was about nine years old. I had completely forgotten that memory until you brought it back to me! Thank you
It was great running into you there. thank you for taking a picture with my son and I. we love your videos and you are fantastic at what you do. I can't wait to watch your next adventure.
Went to Legoland with my son the first year or two the park was open. We really enjoyed the stunt show with the skiers on the lake. At that time the show was Lego Pirate themed and lots of fun. Thanks for letting us see what Legoland is like today.
I will definitely go to Legoland thanks to your video. Lived here 6 years and never went. I didn’t know how cool it is. The Banyan Tree alone is worth the admission.
I have just caught up in your vlogs as been away for the last two weeks. Great vlogs Nate, very upbeat and informative. Loved them, thank you for sharing. ❤🇬🇧

I just started researching Legoland FL for a visit and this video was so helpful. I'm so excited that they have a banyan tree! I can't wait to see it for myself. Your reviews are always fun to watch. Thanks for taking the time to share with us!
Legoland is a great park. I highly recommend it for families with elementary and middle school aged kids. It's also a nice break for adults to get away from the crowds at Disney. This was super fun . I went to Cypress Gardens in I think 1976 when I was 3 . We also went to Disney but all I remember of that was being scared on the tea cups . I loved Cypress Gardens and we went to Weeki Wachi and I loved that and also the hotel playground . This brought all of those fun memories back :)
It really is a beautiful park. If you make your way back there if you explore deeper into the cyprus garden part hidden in it is a florida shaped pool.
You should also try Legoland NY! It's just as fun!! And their hotel is themed just as good as the one in Florida. We are from NY and went to ours last year. We did the one in Florida just last month and it was great because there weren't many people we were able to walk onto every ride.
So glad we watched this! Agree- the hotel theme looks really well done. We remember taking our kids to Cypress Gardens for their trick or treat. After watching your video, we realize that we should go see LEGOLAND. Love that they kept some of Cypress there.
I went to Cypress Gardens many times when I was a kid😎 But I really think Legoland is for kids, kinda strange Adults going and staying in a hotel there alone...I mean look at the Rooms!?!🤪
Legoland hotel rooms are leaps and bounds better than Disney resort rooms, spot on
I'd love to have seen more from Legoland!
IMHO the rooms are better themed than most of the Disney hotels. Having no kids under the roof we have never thought about a visit to Legoland, but after your video that may change. Thanks for taking us along Nate.
Maybe just a tad too much for adults but for kids-top notch!
IMHO if Disney would theme their resorts and resort room like Legoland, I wouldn’t stay. It’s just a tad too much for me. Kids would adore it!
Thank you Nate for taking us along to Legoland. What a beautiful place.
Are you sterile?

I totally forgot about the southern belles...I went around 1977
Besides the southern belles, their waterski show was always amazing.
Wow how cool thats my birth year and to have visited at that time, Amazing
Part of the deal when Legoland purchased the property, was the gardens would stay untouched.
Hi in 2007 my husband and I renewed our wedding vows on the lakeside under a gazebo at Magnolia House. I walked down from the house to the lakeside where Phil was waiting with our daughter. That would require some expensive NP filming permits! I agree with you though
Great idea!!

If you like those elevators, you should see the legoland hotel side 😉🎉🎉 we had a great time when we went.
Thanks for sharing! My son works there at the park. He’s a supervisor. I’ll have to show him this video. We’re actually at Disney for the week. Enjoy!
Tell him I love the park!

Your so cute when you get excited❤❤
Thanks for the fun video, Nate!
I went to Cypress Gardens growing up and had no idea the grounds were now Legoland. Definitely wish I could revisit. 😊
Cypress Gardens took my breath away 😍 Oh i would love to go see that. That boat ride looked pretty kewl also. Beautiful place. Say hi to Gracie 🐾
Honestly inspirational how all of that beauty came from a 5 gallon bucket🥹
Excellent vlog!!! You are awesome!!!
That hotel is INCREDIBLE!!!
I know I was so shocked

The park looks like fun. You make it better with your enthusiasm. I like the references to Cyprus Gardens, which I visited in 1980.
It was great running into you there. thank you for taking a picture with my son and I. we love your videos and you are fantastic at what you do. I can't wait to watch your next adventure.

Wow did not know cypress gardens was still available to see. And I love Lego land. On my list to do on my next Florida trip. Thanks! Great review!
Hi, this was great. Legoland has been on my vacation bucket list for 2 years now, hopefully be abke to go in 2025. Looks like my kind of park. I have disabilities that make it very hard to ride adult rides, so kid rides are perfectly fun for me😊 The apple fries look delicious 😋 Hope to try in future as well. That room theme is amazing. Makes me want to stay at the Lego Hotel.
The room looks so big too! And themed rooms are the best!❤️
Are you going to the Lodon Comic Con in March? Jen asks if we should get tickets? Big love Beefcake Forever Cohort. ❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤

I loved Cypress as a kid so thank you for showing some of the Gardens that are still there!
I’m so surprised that you haven’t been to legoland before; it’s such good fun 😊

Thank you for doing this video. Definitely on our list of winter to do's!
I need to take my daughter to Legoland! We always go to Disney world but this park looks amazing!
Legoland is a great park. I highly recommend it for families with elementary and middle school aged kids. It's also a nice break for adults to get away from the crowds at Disney. We always break up our Disney trip with a day at Legoland. It's a nice park with nice employees. The food options are pretty bad, though. That's our only complaint.
Another great video! Really enjoyed seeing Legoland.
I’ve been thinking of taking my grandkids here and definitely will now. The hotel is amazingly themed. That banyan tree is huge! You should also try Legoland NY! It's just as fun!! And their hotel is themed just as good as the one in Florida.
We are from NY and went to ours last year. We did the one in Florida just last month and it was great because there weren't many people we were able to walk onto every ride.
Bonnie and her little princess would love this park
So glad we watched this! Agree- the hotel theme looks really well done. We remember taking our kids to Cypress Gardens for their trick or treat. After watching your video, we realize that we should go see LEGOLAND. Love that they kept some of Cypress there.
Nate, thanks for dropping this today and I am excited to see this later with my family. You bring so much joy to a lot of people.
I went to Cypress Gardens many times when I was a kid😎
But I really think Legoland is for kids, kinda strange Adults going and staying in a hotel there alone...I mean look at the Rooms!?!🤪
Thanks for posting! This helped my family make the decision to go!
I really wish you could have visited Cypress Gardens, it’s so up your alley ❤
