The Three Folktales (Kwtham Kothoma) depicts popular tribal based folktales of Tripura. Four people; the old man, old lady, a middle-aged man and a young scholar discusses one fine after noon about how differently these tales had been passed on from one generation to the other. The film is portrayed through the popular memory and recollection of these people and latter interpretation are done by a renown professor and his two scholars. This film is made in collaboration between Tribal Research and Cultural Institute, govt. of Tripura and Tripura University along with the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Rural Studies, Kokborok and languages.
