    Video Description:
Mosul, Iraq - In today's Iraq vlog I meet up with Salim - a complete stranger, who happens to be a well known character in Old Mosul, and together we explore Iraq's second biggest city by foot!
We talk about Mosul before the ISIS liberation vs today. Is it safe for the local children to grow up amongst such destruction? or will this environment turn these children into "savages".
We also walk to two well known ancient castles that have been damaged by the battle against ISIS.
Salim shares his knowledge on Mosul and add in a little humour along the way. A great man, and I'm glad destiny brought us together.
    Thanks Salim!
I have more videos from Iraq already uploaded and more coming soon!

Everything happened for a reason!! You can rebuild it again you can recreate it again, you can refix it again, what happened is the past, and the past is just passed, no one can build this city and country until the Iraqi challenges themselves and see that from a different higher perspective!! Don't live with a victim mentality, rebuild the city and history with belief and higher a purpose worth living to new generations and make a victory.✌️ the ground there waiting for you to create a new life. period

Nothing happens by waiting. The wise man is old, his wisdom is brilliant. But to repair the country you need active local people, every one of them, that do not wait for forces from outside, but listen to the voice of wisdom and great ancient times of brotherhood and rebuild (old or new) brotherly society. Every organisation coming from outside expects to take more than it will give, even religious systems. If Iraqis don’t rebuild it, destruction will never stop.

Chris, this is the most profound video I have seen, and I'm old. I could have watched you and Salim talk for hours. Very wise. He made some amazing points but the friendship out of thin air like that is amazing and something the world needs to see. War and division is only getting uglier, but ignored because of all these phones, and have noticed myself missing out on life because of this addiction.
