Most likely those bearings will be fine! I've got some Mini Logos too and they seem on par with Bones Reds honestly, just 50% cheaper. The Independent GP-S bearings are great too and cheap. Pretty much on par with the Bones Reds too and again, about 50% cheaper. I'd also recommend using some spacers in your bearings to not have them destroyed on impact as easily, I think most skaters just never use spacers to keep their bearings at a fixed distance from each other, which is kind of weird. Even the cheapest spacers will do, which are like $3 to $5 or so for 8 pieces. Good to see some new trucks! I've just got some Thunder 148s on my board and those feel pretty amazing as well.
Bro be you! You can’t worry about that stuff! Like the faster you learn that the faster you get more views and stuff. It’s all about being comfortable and confident. Start working out. I promise promise promise it will change everything. Make you more confident and that translates to almost everything else on your life. Like I’m a 33 year old recovering addict like I have a couple years clean now. But man I’m telling you life weights. Get confident
Cool video! I swear set ups never go perfectly curious how long you been skating? I started in January of 2020 and been fun learning tricks and filming!
That is a Spitfire Tablets 54mm 99A and not classics. just read the cardboard of the wheel. And yes, there is differnce between minilogo (cheap) and swiss (expensive) bearings. Cheap ones do not roll fast and smooth, i experienced it in when i was in a "pool skatepark".
Next time you forget your blade. The same way you "mark" the griptape with the screwdriver, if you apply more pressure, you can file the griptape down to the wood until you're able to rip off the edges like normal :)
Have you tried non abrasive grip tape? I’m buying 1 new set and I’m buying a new deck and I’m kinda afraid to grip them onto my board and it ends up being too grippy
I just realised while watching this that generic Ambient lo-fi music is the new offical music of UA-cam tutorial and review video. RIP generic Ukulele music
You can, it’s all preference. A lot of skaters skate 149s on a 8 cuz they like the stability and wider room to grind. I was just recently skating a 8 with 144s and when you measure the width with the wheels (spitfire classics) it was still around 8 inches. So it wasn’t like too hot rodded or anything. It felt really nice.
I have had 2 baker decks that were 8.0 but the first one snapped on the 3rd month doing a boardslide and the second one chipped on the second month but kicking out my board down a 3 block but that’s just my personal experience and might not happen to you 🎃

I’m one of those skaters that usually doesn’t use spacers haha but luckily since I got a fresh set of trucks the spacers were there :)
