So happy to see her rightfully get her flowers seeing as how she paved the way for a lot of young, queer people. Her run on drag race is legendary and she’s inspired generations and generations of drag queens. She doesnt reference, she is the reference; the blueprint!
There would be no yvie oddlies shown on drag race without Raja. She, Nina Flowers, and Ongina paved the way for the non-binary and club kid representation on drag race.

I truly believe her appearance on drag race in season three changed drag. Raja elevated the fashion aspect to a new level.

To this day I cannot watch Raja take the crown on s3 without bawling my eyes out! Raja is the living embodiment of "all drag is valid" & the fact that rpdr were intelligent enough to see that at that time is why I will forever be a fan of the show. I was pulling for Jinkx & Raja the hardest on all stars 7. Long live the weirdos! 🤗🙌💜

Awwwww when raja talked about how her sisters on allstars were all so much affected by her doing drag i just wanted to hug her🤗🤗 she really is leaving a legacy!
You know she was remembering conversations she had with her AS7 queen competitors and what they told her about watching season 3 and the impact her art and her spirit had on them over a decade ago. These are queens who then went on to also win a season of Drag Race! How could she not be moved by that. They may not have the same aesthetic or point of view as her, but that is irrelevant; she inspired them to pursue, display and celebrate their art and in doing so they found themselves. And that is profound. Raja is and always will be an icon, a legend, a star.

Raja has always been ahead of her time. A goddess that represents what drag can look like when you have a different perspective than the norm. One of the fiercest winners that has ever graced the stage of RPDR and that’s why she’s my favorite.
Her and Trinity are my favorite winners. They are both so well rounded and never cease to up their game. L

I have been following Raja since Top Model days when she was “just” Sutan the makeup artist, and then seeing Raja on The Tyra Show, then when I saw she was going to be on Drag Race S3, I knew Raja was going to win and picked her from the cast announcements! She's someone who you can't replace easily in the drag scene. There are many fashion, glam and camp queens but there's something in her that is exclusive to herself. Her and Manila are prominent in Asian drag. They could've won the season tie as they have the same skillset but they see drag in different lenses.

When Raja said that you have to find your uniquess when hundreds of Drag Race queens have already been thrust into the global stage; and finding your legacy and making a mark on history than being merely speck of dust in the universe; and using that mantra as your compass in navigating your celebrity status as an artist...that's some profound advice. AS7 cast weren't kidding when they said Raja was the wisest among them.
