During the Belgian presidency of the Council of the EU, 60 citizens living in Belgium will be randomly selected to participate in a discussion on the development of artificial intelligence in Europe. The aim is to collect the opinion of Belgian citizens on the direction that Europe should take on artificial intelligence during the next period of European governance (2024-2029).
The beEU citizen panel will be held over the course of three weekends at the Egmont Palace in Brussels, and will provide a space for free and inclusive discussions. Each participant will be able to bring their own experiences and point of view to enrich the debate on AI.
