I was blown away when I first heard the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir sing this. Then I had the opportunity to play in the orchestra (trombone) for a performance in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am so glad to hear the beautiful arrangement of this marvelous hymn, sung by the angel voices of Libera. BRAVO!
I like this. In all the Libera concerts I have been to you never saw Robert Prizeman. He was always hidden in the orchestra. We had to make him accept applause on his way back from a break in a concert in St. Paul.

Why does this song sounds like background music for the Omen?..
The fact is that the Libera guy could had done this song all on their own and my guess is it would had been far better...Alessandro solo was right on and so was the rest.I would had love just to hear Libera alone.But my guess is there is a lot of give and take in a event like this,,I was hoping Libera would had done a version of this song of their own and released it..Let just said they done their best like always under the condition they had to deal with...

Hmm, it's not as bad as people say. But I know for sure, that this song wasn't properly rehearsed. It's good though.😁😂
It’s not their usual fair, but I thought they did it pretty well anyway. Probably would’ve been better if there were more tenors and some more powerful sounding trebles (e.g Tom DL, Stefan Leadbeater, Ed Day, Ben Crawley, Geraghty brothers).

Pretty sure the problem has to do with the outdoor acoustic setting.
I'm guessing that the musical genius Robert Prizeman is not behind this. But boys, you sure can sing beautifully!!! Allessandro you should get another solo part, you sang a really nice solo on the America CD sir! Good to see Matthew Jensen in there.

Being one of the people on that stage I can clearly say this was under rehearsed and performed late at night after hours of waiting. We loved every moment of this however, due to the conditions we did the best we could. Thank you for your point though as yes, it was "rather obliquely in tone" it didn't hurt my ears however due to the fact I rather liked this amazing song, harmonies are tight and it is hard to sing but I LOVED it.
