So glad I stumbled upon this video. I don’t know how I got here, but some of the Lakota words spoken in this video I remember hearing bought me back many decades! A Medicine Man asked to be “tender of the fire” for the four days of this very big Sundance, a real honor I couldn’t believe! He later also asked me if I would stay the four days after the dance and do work cleaning up and things he wanted me to do. He said the spirits stay around for four days after a dance.
He actually said for me to sleep in the huge dancers tipi. I was very honored. He left the big buffalo hide the dancers would lay on when they would be pierced for me to sleep on. I couldn’t believe it! He also gave me part of the beard of a buffalo! I didn’t know what to do and tied it in the doorway. I felt so honored that I felt like I didn’t deserve it! I never told him, but I felt so very honored I instead slept next to the hide ha! So many things happened when I was tender of the fire and when I slept alone next to the hide in that big tipi four nights I’ll only tell one.
I closed the door every night. It was very dark as the dance grounds were about a mile from the Medicine Man’s home. At times I was very afraid and my heart pounding. I could see the top of the tipi, my window to the night sky of many stars and the silhouette of all the poles converging together there, all part of the universe, wow! I awakened once and could see a cloud there. A real cloud! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, so I took my little camp flashlight and shone it and there was a cloud! A real cloud! Later, with many other things happening in the night that I thought I wasn’t supposed to talk to anyone about I gave in and told just one thing to the Medicine Man about the cloud. He told me I was visited by “Tall Ghost”. Pila Maya!

Thank you for being you and holding the love light space-time. Can already see the destination, now enjoying the journey. The sun only knows it shines by seeing it's reflection on the water.

My last Sundance was in 1996 in big mountain AZ. I did 3 years. After the Sundance I walked into a bar in north Long Beach California. I met a black lady and she took me to the Crack House. I was on the Dark Road. Always praying 🙏🙏🙏
