Thank you for documenting this westbound Cincinnati Eastern Railroad mixed freight coming down the Batavia Hill and crossing over Main Street in Batavia, Ohio, Jaw Tooth! It was nice to see the box cars in the train. It was good to see the Maintenance of Way crew replacing some ties on the mainline. (Posted on 15 January 2025 at 16 57 CST.)

Another awesome video JT and thank you for getting out there in cold weather in the snow to bring us a video to watch on Wednesday and that’s the first time I’ve ever seen tank cars on the Cincinnati and eastern railroad and I bet you glad they put some new ties on that track, I know the engineer conductor will be glad cause they’ll be able to run a little bit faster but anyway you stay warm out there my friend and as always you stay safe and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Hi JT! An incredible collection of snow trains.😍😍😍🚂🚂 It's been pretty cold this past week. Therefore, take care of yourself! If you travel, it is always better to have a thermos with something hot. I'm back in Pennsylvania now. Before that I was in Florida for almost two weeks. When I arrived back, it was a little unusual. The climate of these states is completely opposite!
Enjoyed seeing the first CCET video of 2025! Glad to see that they are getting some maintenance done on the track. It will need to be in good order when the new Purina works start use the rails for transport of pet foods. By the size of the factory it looks like there will be a fair amount of goods going out. It'll make the CCET a busy route and hopefully it will ensure the line continues to be busy for many years. Thanks for keeping us in touch with developments, JT. Hope you will have a good year in 2025. The pets look like they're thriving!
Good to see them maintaining that line for the future. I like your shorter videos. UA-cam probably doesn't agree with me.They have their ways. Thanks Brian.

Well the new owners are spending some money on the rails which most likely need it as the CCET will soon be hauling cars too and from Purina in a few months when the plant is operational. Plus all the rock cars that are full the rails need to support more traffic can't have any derails. Good catch Brian stay warm and be careful there is ice all over.
When it's cold out there you sure don't want to miss the train of the day and thankfully you caught it right at one of our favorite places that being the Depot location. Of course the personal horn salute is a treat. Since that other end of the line doesn't have much traffic at the moment you can do the work without having to worry about tying up the line but you probably don't accomplish as much in one day figuring on time for the crew to take warming breaks. There. also are some areas where you're going to have to find the old tie marking. first and then break the new one loose and get the pile of snow off of it. With the cold it was probably better to keep Chessie at home and give her paws a pause off the snow and ice. Plus the unique boxing at Punch Out by the poinsettia make for an amusing evening. Stay bundled up during this cold snap.
