Wow, I never thought that lines like this still existed on the national network, it's like turning the clock back for me 40ys ago. Many thanks for a great video, pity I can't go and see it for myself as I'm living in Australia :(
I went on this line yesterday, I love the character of the line and the old rolling stock. They are currently installing new centralised signalling and putting new Flirt trains on from next year so things will never be the same again.
Wonderful experience. I've got a simulation from Dovetail Games with a DLC from AP that does absolute credit to this line. Many thanks from Denmark for this video.
Bloody quick those sets are, 200t of loco for only 120t of carriages. Must have been a quite a lot more expensive to run fuel wise than the sprinters and turbostars they ran in the past.

Heatwave and class 37 , 1976 all over again
