Wa Alaykumu salaam wa rahmatullah. Amazing, I found this channel right on time. I’m taking Clinical Micro now and next semester will be Clinical Micro 2. We just had first Exam (49/50 Alhamdulillah) and we started the Streptococcus, Staphylococcus and all Gram+ and Gram- organisms in depth. Struggled in how to make tables and classify this in more understandable notes and this is right what I need. May Allah give you ajar, ameen. Keep up these lectures coming, thanks a lot🙏🏼
Your comment made our day New Yorker, that's great to hear! Congratulations on your great achievement, and we wish you the best in your future exams. You got this! Don't worry, we will keep updating our microbiology library ;)
Thank you very much for your videos: the information very well organized, pace, tone, mnemonics, illustrations, summary!!! Excellent educational material!!! Even relaxing! Can watch again and again! Thanks a million!!!
Thnx for the video it’s really helpful ✨ i find that streptococcus agalactiae have a polysaccharide capsule and in the video u said that it’s encapsulated
Thank you so much for helping me and a lot of other students! I wish you all the best in the world and may I help this channel even grow more when I am finally successful. :)
@@ATPPP nooo! You didn't understand my question 😂.I said in the mnemonic of gamma strep you used bile for the term 'BORED'. I THINK bile is not the point for gamma strep.bile was meant for 'MOBAN'. that's why if you use bovis for 'BORED' it will make sense
@@atashi1111 Ohh! Perfect point Atashi! Thank you so much for brining this up! Actually bile is very important for gamma strep. When classifying or solving questions, gamma-streptococci, as a group, can grow in bile, and that's why bile was used in our mnemonic! We will make sure to highlight this point in our video on gamma-strep!
@@ATPPP oh. so that was the flip about🤔I got confused because you didn't give bile as a point in gamma strep points apart from PYR status and growth in 6.5% NaCl . Now I got to know 😂 thanks by the way🙏
@@atashi1111 Well, thanks to you for highlighting this point! We will definitely make sure to mention this once do a video about gamma strep! Thank you Atashi! MSA
So i thought im done with bacteria ...i hardly passed the exam last year (actually no i got a good mark) anyway . So this year too we gonna study the same things but larger lessons for sure💔 ...thanks for making those lessons more fun...keep up the good work 🙏🙏❤
My daughter died because of Chorioamnotitis at 38+2 weeks. I am not 13 weeks pregnant again and I wanted to ask what can I do to prevent it? I am very scared. I will be induced at 38 weeks and have IV with antibiotics, but I am very scared.
Hello Gloria, We are so sorry to hear this. We truly hope and pray for you to deliver safely this time! Our advice is to go and see your doctor, and discuss everything with them! That would be the best thing to do, rather than using the internet to figure out things Stay safe and healthy!
how can one get this streptococci B? For instance... can you get it from sitting on a toilet? Or can you get it sexually? Can this streptococci cause abnormal vaginal secretion?
this bacteria found in my both urine and vaginal swab culture and i don’t know what to do. worst still is i’m virgin lol. i want to cry. she’ll probably prescribe me antibiotics and i really wish to get rid of this asap. how are you now? have you cured?
When it comes to microbiology, you guys are the best, please keep the videos coming
Thanks; we will do!

I think the mnemonic for the gamma strep.
is messed up.the 'B'should denote bovis instead of bile which is meaningful in 'MOBAN' rather.isn't it?!!!
MOBAN actually was used for alpha not gamma strep; so if we include bovis it would not make sense, got it?
