Funny story: I wrote this to sing with the girl I was seeing at the time, and it was super sweet, a really fun experience to produce and record.
But, do you know that feeling when a song grows on you and changes its meaning a few times after a bunch of listens? I haven't taken this off of my soundcloud because of one line in the song. "I wish that I could wish you the best, but I want you to stay with me"
Toxicity in a relationship is a very bad thing, but its extremely difficult to let yourself see that its happening. but its also a learning experience. Those years taught me a lot, and I hope it taught her as well. I'll cherish this track for the rest of my life. I'm glad you guys like it so much

This song has helped me through so much heartache and heartbreak over the past 4 months and I thank you so much. Truth be told, I’m not sure if I could have made it without this song.
