- This is my unboxing and honest review of the Real Relax Favor 06 Massage Chair. Overall, it is great. I really love it so far. On my first real use beyond this initial review video, I used it in Thai, Strong & Relax Mode. Relax Auto(A1) actually ended up being my favorite so far.
A part of me thinks using the control dial is superior in Auto Modes because you can put your whole body into position before turning it on and getting "scanned". You can control tilt and what mode you are on using the dial. Also, you can turn the machine on or off by pushing the dial, just like the screen.
With time and use I will update this description to include any afterthoughts.

Your review is spot on! I concurred with everything you said. I bought this for my wife and toyed around with it today. I agree, the speakers aren’t that great and you’re better off with AirPods.

Thanks! It has been so long since I unboxed I cannot say for sure. If I remember correctly they might be for mounting the screen bracket to the chair. That's my best guess. I remember it was almost completely assembled except for that screen holder.
Ah, well, I just watched the review again and they aren't for the screen bracket... Then I suppose they are just extra replacements likely for an internal component.
Hi! Nice review! I am planning to buy the S Track only. Do you think that will be a big difference from the SL?
Thanks! I'm not an expert but I think the SL hits your butt better than a S track.
Where is the massage chair manufactured from?
Hi great review thank you so much. Does the foot part extend out to adjust for height? And how is it for your hips? Can you pause it on a certain spot? Last question were you sore after using it?
Yes, you just push the foot portion down with your feet to extend it.
The only thing it does for your hips is jostle them around when it massages your butt. The butt massage is actually pretty impressive in my opinion and it is strong enough to lift me up. Although, there isn't anything to specifically target your hips, hip action is pretty minor with this machine.
I used it for 45 minutes two days in a row and could tell I was slightly sore when it hits certain spots, so I think there is such a thing as overusing it. But I think using it 15-30 minutes a day is probably considered normal use and likely wouldn't have left me tender in places. It's actually pretty strong, which is what makes it feel like a decent shiatsu massage and I personally like that.

@@omaribarber943 No problem. I used it again this morning with your hip question in mind. It doesn't press the sides of your hips at all but the roller does go from your neck to your butt, so the lower back/rear hip area definitely gets hit.
8 months later...do you still love it? I ordered one off amazon..gonnabe here on Wednesday.
I might do an update video eventually on the chair. It has worked just fine this whole time and I've come to appreciate the manual controls which sometimes I choose over the automated programs. So far, the chair has been great!

Is that as far back as it goes? Seems like none of the reviewers even show it fully reclined.
Yeah, it doesn't go completely horizontal. It does lean back a fair bit though which is nice.

How are you enjoying the chair? I've been looking at purchasing one but $1600 is a hefty price tag. How often do you use it, what don't you like about it, and hows it holding up?
It's working well and nice to have. I hop in it maybe every two days or so. I use the strong setting a lot and cycle through the others sometimes. I will say that if you have a wide back and broad shoulders you might want a different machine. I'm not a massive guy but have a broad back and I feel like if the chair was slightly wider at the shoulders I would enjoy it better. Overall, I love the chair, whenever I desire it, it is there.
What is the width of the back? I have very wide shoulders, but they don't give clear dimensions.
I'm not home to measure it but my shoulders are 20.5 inches width and I feel like I just about max the chair out.
Wats the update is it still good?
It's still great. I've gotten to learn it better as well and have come to appreciate manual mode. Manual actually has 6 modes, you can press the button again and again to change the roller sequence. Sometimes I choose Auto modes but they don't push as hard as the manual modes. So when I want it as strong as possible I choose manual since you can change the massage strength!!
Neat I may have to invest this was definitely the one I was looking into.
PRO TIP - Contact Real Relax (or any other brand you might be considering) and ask for a replacement part before buying. I asked for a mainboard. Real Relax don't supply them. So you will have no way to repair it in the future.
