My late mother wore the tiara on her wedding day that her mother and her mother wore on there's. One of my sisters wore it on hers. The center part removed from the frame and could be either a pendant or worn as a brooch. I can remember her wearing it, as a brooch in her hair in 1968 ( I was 7).
Rather nice crystal tiaras are available from a US site. www.glamgal.com. Both my daughters bought their tiaras from there......beautiful and looked just as good as diamonds!
I'm 55 and always wanted one. Well to be honest, I have a fascination, maybe obsession with jewelry since I was a little girl. I may not like a piece, but I do and respect the beauty and the art of the piece.
Wow - I could only have dreamed of wearing such an exquisite piece of fine jewelry for my wedding! My tiara did not come from a jeweller, however my pearl necklace and pearl/diamond earrings were family antiques from Germany,. They've been in the family since 1922. ❤️
For my wedding to my now ex husband, my veil was attached to a pillbox style hat the came to a point in the front and center of my head. It was hand made because I couldn't afford a tiara although I wish I had one. Your daughter's tiara is lovely and suited her very well.
I have a custom tiara, but it's simple, yet breath taking. Sparkly, but not too flashy. I suggest taking into account the weight, and shape. I really love these. Simple and elegant that's the timeless look.
That shop could make a fortune if they had a salon in the back to have your hair done up and then just try on different tiaras! Maybe have a space for photo shoot, portraits on top of their sales.
I wore a tiara for my first wedding. It was a cheap one. Good thing because the marriage didn't last. Years later, I found a sterling silver tiara with a garnet in the center online, handmade in England, and I bought it. Because I could. I guarantee it didn't cost tens of thousands of pounds, but it's precious metal, a genuine gemstone which happens to be my favorite, and I can wear it any damn time I want.
"This very delicate Edwardian one" *warrior princess looking thing comes out of the box* It IS a nice tiara, I just can't stop laughing at how inaccurate the delicate description is!
Please do another video show casing more contemporary tiaras on a model and another elaborate video showing more vintage or antique tiaras on a model. Loved this segment and want more!!
I want one for my daughter for her birthday on September 3rd but I don't have a lot of money so I can't really get it but those pounds are really beautiful
Heart❤felt thanks for uploading this marvellous video. Maria Doulton has a touch of finesse and presented this video with elegance. The pearl and diamond tiara is stunning as well as other tiaras which are also impressive.
Ah, the Kokoshnik style tiara. Very popular today, mainly because the Imperial Russian aristocrats had a boatload of them made and then had to sell them all after fleeing the...five years of two less-than-peaceful revolutions and a civil war. They do tend to frame the face a bit better than the floating curlicues all front and center sort do.
These are good investments anyway if we are aiming for an heirloom, and the fact that they convert into other pieces of jewelry is a good touch. Imagine using the tiara to your wedding, and 25 to 50 years later, you wear it as the earings and necklace for the anniversary. If the family could afford it and it fits the wedding theme, then I'd say go for it.
For our wedding my wife had a tiara made for her (commissioned/made in Europa). She didn’t want a copy/ replica of an old hag’s tiara. She had one made to resemble a Spanish Peineta. It was expensive, but it was worth it. She looked beautiful. The tiara was complemented almost as much as she was. Salutations from, USA.
what is a spanish peinata? is it that thing thats filled with candy that hangs down & is used for parties? whats so great about that being shaped into a tiara or crown bridal headpiece?
@@marial.rapaglia4041 I looked it up out of sheer curiosity - no, not a piñata. La peinata, it seems, is a very elaborate hair ornament with a comb to attach to an updo. Seems like flamenco dancers wear them? Type the word into your preferred search engine- there were pictures. Quite amazing, though not really my taste- but then, they wouldn't suit my looks anyway. 😉
1:11 Tiaras are for weddings... not only for Queens and Princesses, but for Brides, too.. As you can see from the selection of antique wedding tiaras... That was how the former PH First Lady Imelda Marcos got her collection of tiaras, by buying them from jewelry shops with their own personal funds!! Anyways, im here watching this again hahaha lol.. 😂😂
they work like magic for women who wear one on wedding day--or else, if no crown or tiara worn, no luck, happiness or prosperity for their future! its a necessary bridal item or else why waste your time to get married!
I mean if I was to marry into a wealthy old money or any type of money that has a background, I'll probably be given a tiara as a wedding present as either the something old or new
Respected, i am Ramiz , a gold beads manufacturer from india, wants to sell my gold ornaments in whole india & abroad country also, is there any scope ? how can i get help me please
Well ,when i was a little child i made jewellery out of aluminum foil ...I'll have to stick to that. ...or ill be living in an empty aluminum foil box.
So even if you could afford the tiara.... WHERE would you wear it? Imagine going to dinner in a tiara...😅 I'll take the glass crystal imitation for the big day ...some are made in really good quality nowadays!
'If you happen to have a tiara in the family' HAHAHAHAHHAAA
Laura Caton doesn’t everyone?
I think she meant a real diamond tiara
I have a pink plastic tiara with feathers, actually!
There are definitely people who do
I do but it is as hideous as a tiara can get.
Heirloom for the family will cost the kidneys of all my family 😂
They don't need those kidneys, you need a tiara.
Yes that one that your daughter wore is absolutely fantastically beautiful! 👑
@above--you mean my sister--we aint got kids.

How lovely Mark - what a wonderful heirloom to pass down the generations.
Wore on "theirs". Not there's.
Rude, no need even though you are correct!
I would love to have tiara on my wedding day and make it into a heirloom after that. Every family needs a little bit of fairytale!

They are all tiaras. You must be an American.

Everyday I watch the windows of this store is amazing store
I prefer the Russian tiaras, that are more circular and give off the illusion of a "halo."

The one on the thumbnail is my favorite🎊
Because watching beautiful things improves you as a person? It's like spending time in the National Gallery, the British Museum, the Bodleian Library.
no, those places are not beautiful things.
F*** the wedding, I just want to buy my own tiara😊
@above--you can own your own without the wedding hassle--its not illegal.

Really?, she is over weight/ fat.

Alexei Romanov and?
Even if she was fat, which she isn't .... she could lose weight, whereas you'd always be ugly/bitter.
@@alexeiromanov2250 where did you get that she is fat!?!?! She's an absolutely lovely young lady

Trying to come up with the design of a tiara for a novel I'm writing.
I want a tiara for my wedding
we want a CROWN for our wedding! not a measly tiara.
Please helped the princess anisha to choose the tiara for his wedding soon with prince marteen from brunei....
Lo pueden traducir al español por favor se ve que esta muy bueno pero no se ingles.
I wanna kno the return policy for international
Sadly, the groom is probably not worthy of those tiaras!!! Unless they can be rented, they're too pricey!
You can also do it just for you!! So you can feel beautiful, in the way you like. 😊
@callie--groom is not worth the CROWN, not just the measly tiara.
Now where can I go and get the tiara I cant affort.
My mother worn it on her wedding 👰
Where would i go to if i am looking to buy a gold crown for a male? im looking for a gold headpiece for a birthday gift

Damn, I’m a peasant.
Honestly, I expected a much higher price tag for Lady Mary’s tiara.

I just realized all those royal tiaras were made for tiny women. How do any of them fit on today’s giant heads?
