It is the Father alone that is God (Deuteronomy 10:20), and therefore worshipping Jesus is idolatry. Jesus never became a God, nor was he ever God prior to being on earth. in the same manner we treat the Father’s other Messiahs, Moses being one of them, is the same manner we should regard Jesus. It is YHWH/God/the Father that we worship, honor and glorify as God, no one else is like him, he has no equals or copartners (Isaiah 45:5, Isaiah 44:24) God is one, the Father alone (Deuteronomy 6:4).
