I think if matchmaking had more options like map size, player limit per battle, and time limit. It'd help please a more variety of players.
Well we had that but they removed it
not enough players to do that. It already takes up to 2 minutes to join a specific game mode (and if you're low rank, it will probably be in a match with higher ranked players anyways). Now add more limitations/filters and you'll have to wait 7+ minutes. People will just not play at that point.

@Atousa Topcubasi, like another person said. With bots, it would not be a problem. In fact, bots solve all those problems you mentioned.
I wouldnt have made the suggestion if the devs werent planning on adding bots in the future.
Absolute facts man. 100% agree with you. Thanks for being this voice. I think Tanki do need to advertise like they've done before. I found them from an advertisement! Shop prices and event prices are extortionate I agree. And the the almost break down of communication between them and their UA-camrs just doesn't sound or look good. Hoping this all changes but knowing what we know about Tanki, not holding my breath.

At this point I'm being forced to play a lot but if it's only 7 minutes of a game it wouldn't seem too much.
It's even harder to complete missions.
But I do like playing 15 minutes, maybe 7 minutes at low ranks?

Some of the changes I think tanki needs to make are
1. Improve game performance and optimization along with better servers. Atm my pc cries every time I get a large map game and I get it like 80% of the time. There needs to be a balance for the every day gamer that doesn't have the best hardware.
2. Try to make the game less pay to win and reduce in-game prices. The amount of money someone would have to spend on this game just to stay somewhat competitive, especially when they keep adding new good stuff that is always super expensive.... It's a disgrace.
3. We need to find a solution to the problem of too many things. Let me explain...
Back in the day you had a handful of turrets and hulls and eventually you could get protection for 3 turrets which was not bad as they weren't so many, especially in 1 battle.
Nowadays you need protection not only from the turrets but abilities also... you have stun, jammer, shock and a few others. Now the issue comes where you face another team and because of the vast variety of turrets and special abilities you find it very difficult to actually enjoy the game. It just feels like there is no way to win 1 example I'd give is how many times have you guys played the long maps with ctf and because of some many op campers you can never reach near the base (even on your team) you got magnums, gauss, sniper, rail, thunder all one hitting you from a distance that the game ends 0-0 after 15 whole minutes.... it sucks.
And to make it worst there is no easy way to communicate with teammates. Texting is limited and I understand that sometimes there will be a language barrier.
These are just some of the issues I came up with and there is much more

Honestly the best shop/game balance for me was a year or two ago when the bp was 500 tankcoins, you were guaranteed to get to the end if you did all of your dailies, and there was a skin container/100 tks at the end. I would do the challenge, wait until the last day, then either buy the $5 bundle and get 400 tks or the $10 bundle and get 800 tks to spend on the challenges. I also bought some of the 5000 tankcoins over 30 days offers which allowed me to get a good number of skins and decent augments. I’ve probably spent $110-$120 dollars on the game but since I bought at the right time, I have a lot of stuff to show for it and with two maxed drones, I can always do well in battles if I actually try.
It seems like if you hit the Tanki economy at the right time and buy the right stuff you’ll be okay, but if someone invests in the game at the wrong time, they’ll get a poor roi. The inconsistency of it all is the most disappointing aspect. (And that’s before you get to game balance, poor player experience, the elitist helpers, etc.)
I remember when they used to give two Animated paints in the FREE pass!!... Like that was sooo good.
And they need to make the battles more GS based or equally ranked battles...
And ofcourse lesser the Exp that players get!... Like bro people reach Legend too fast man...
I think we all in favour of what you said. You need to consider one thing and that is the behaviour of managers and staff. P2W, unbalanced mm and more were common already years ago. I do have solutions but don’t count on them to change. It’s exactly like what happened when everyone got pulsar, they nerfed it because it was supporting f2p players. I do have a vision for tanki. The only way for a change in tanki is if it gets owned by another organisation. Till then even if we have solutions I don’t see the game changing for the better (as we imagine) anytime soon.
I am not American, the prices in the store are very high for me. I'm talking about one medium purchase that will cost me like 2 daily salaries.

some augments is op,this problem is the most serious,it doesn't require a high level of ability
I feel like after 10 years of playing, I’m pretty much done. I like to grind games and have a purpose for playing and I feel like there is none now. There’s nothing to achieve,
I will give my opinion, in case any developer sees this:
In the first place, the prices do not benefit them, their player base has many third world players because it is a low-income game, living in Argentina I have 100% annual inflation, do you think I can really afford those prices? They are crazy, I would like to spend a little money in Tanki, I'm not poor either, but I just can't.
Second, I think they should stop thinking about the old players, I don't agree with Taspens on this, I think that even though it's okay not to let the old players escape, the game is just different, they should focus on finding a new audience, not trying to just go back to what they had before, for this they need to improve the initial tutorial, they need to stop smearing the game, when it starts playing the only thing you can do is shoot smoky and move does anyone think that's fun? maybe not all the mechanics, but they should focus on presenting the game better, in a way that new players don't feel overwhelmed but also don't feel stupid
I think if they fix those two points they can really make a much better game and win more playerbase.
I think there should be a thing in tanki called "average score" basically, if you average around 300 score every game, you will be matched with players who average around that score as well (also considering gs, and rank) which will help keep the gigachads away from the brain dead imbeciles.
I Agree with you, specially the old gold box events will be really good, without drones and augments
I really liked your point of view, and also because it is a differentiated content than the day to day that is only testing new augments that can only be obtained with your luck or spending money in the game, and also a content that is kind of repetitive and sometimes boring too, I am not demerging any tanki youtube. each one does the content they think is best, but congratulations on the differentiated content and also on your point of view.
I would do these types of videos more, but depending on the content they arent typically that watched

I agree with you Taspens and I hope they do something soon. What I think should be added to make tanki better? Well 1st add that STRAFE KEYBIND so more players can use hover hulls with keyboard only. 2nd reduce shop prices....I just buy premium on weekends like 2 days..like $10 bucks Canadian...I figure its better than buying a 6 pack of beer...heh

I really dont understand why they dont do the goldhunter modes. Its really not that hard but instead they release horrible modes that are just spammed with hopper and are simply not fun.
They need to add some secret rooms back or new ones it was so fun to try to find/get to them, especially the silence one way under the map put of bounds
I think there should be a event where everyone should be equipped with 9999 gs equipment like strong drones supplies and skins and augments it will make battel more intense and people will get to try out new things
Currently these are the issues that stop the player base from growing:
1) low ranks - all new players have to start off playing in matches with the barebones of tanki, the game feels very slow paced and boring at low ranks and since mm is so bad its not uncommon for experienced players alt accounts who were able to farm shards/toa with maxxed equipment to join their games resulting very poorly balanced games, no one new will stay if they have just been getting shat on for 15 minutes
This brings me to my second problem
2) battle length - 15 minute battles are way to long, i often get bored around the 7-10 minute mark and the rest of the game isnt fun due to no variety in gameplay , i suggest changing battle lengths to 7-10minutes
This brings me to my 3rd problem
3) equipment change cooldowns - you can only change equipment once a game, It is a lot more fun when your changing equipment every 5-7 mins or so to try and counter the enemy players who are also doing the same thing, now if you equip the wrong thing by accident you wont be able to change later on have 15 minutes of suffering
4) braindead augments - to make money tanki releases stuff thats stupidly op this e.g pulsar, og helios, og hyperspeed shells etc, this makes everyone use the same equipment and gameplay becomes more samey and stale
5) ttk (time to kill) - the higher rank you are in tanki the less the time to kill, every turret seems to be able to have the opportunity to 1 tap at least a light hulls (when both the players shooting and the player taking damage are both maxed out)this makes everyone use medium hulls (less diverse gameplay) and the small errors result in instant death and with maps being so large dying means wandering about for 15-25 seconds to find anyone
oh yeah, personal issue for me is the cost of clans/name change
using current pricing:
a clan=32.99 EURO
name change=21.99 EURO
not to mention if you do buy a clan and want to swap leader that'll cost you another 32.99...
want 1 extra clanmate slot? 7.50 EURO...
new tag? 16.99
new clan name? 16.99
in total if you wanted to buy a clan, then change tag/clan name + swap leader it would cost you 100 EURO..
all of this should be free, they used to allow clan tag changes for like 50k crystals through the support email.
Fr if you look at every event, there's bundles for like £20 and then bundles for £200
There's nothing in between, and that should change imo
Esports and the in game clan system both need massive improvement in 2023
I think a very simple yet huge thing would be to release premium augments balanced. They're gimmicky these days, so as long as they're as strong as other legendary augs, people will want them because it IS something new and fun. If Helios came out the way it is now, it would likely be loved by many, as it really is a sniper Ricochet. But no, it had to come out stupidly broken, just like Hyperspeed Shells, ML Tornado or even EMP Twins - which garnered it hate that stayed with many even after balancing. It's done to artificially steer the meta and boost sales, but really... once people catch onto the scheme, they'll expect it (this hurts the sales, surely) and get annoyed when they see a nerf. The augment is annoying to go against when it's overpowered, and then the owners get upset when their toy gets nerfed, only to be replaced by another absurdly broken thing (Vacuum Shells for instance are no small fish either - it has no downsides, just a huge damage buff because why not. This happens a lot). This is not a good business/balancing practice at all imo.
that's literally the point. if it's balanced, why would anyone spend money to get it
@Atousa Topcubasi I literally explained that. On top of which, there's also the prestige of temporary exclusivity. I doubt whales spend 500-1000 bucks for a skin just because it looks nice.

Tanki needs to reduce players with protect against your main turret. I joined a server a few months back, and EVERYONE had 38% or more protect against my Gauss. Which is the only turret I sadly use
They are hunger for money... i will never spend anymore money for this game because of a lot of annoying things:
- Stoopid and long bans.... i got 1 week ban because i just click on a player that was not fair play and i only click VOTE... it's the only way i think i can report trough game.
Why is that Vote there then?
- Ban for spaming the chat? why? I see a lot of stoopid players that spam the chat with huge chat lines and they never get ban... and they even repeat that in chat many times.
Sometimes they post on chat scam sites and they not get ban.
Another thing that is anooying is because of game matchmaking.
For example i have 3200 GS and i find most times players that spend a lot of money and have 6000-7000+ GS. So this is not a fair battle. They shoud make matchmaking based on players Gear Score not rank. for example for a 3000 GS the battle shoud be +/- 1000 GS between 2000 to 4000 GS not more or less.
Haven't played tanki in a week now 😣.
The og ,best event mode ever , 2020 April fools ,5 days, prob played over 60 hours in those days

Honestly it would behoove them to get rid of ptw entirely. Just about everyone in reviews, game chats, etc are sick of the imbalance it causes. Obviously after having to replace their servers last November they need funding and even if that wasn't the case, they still need funding to operate. So charge a monthly fee in tiers and include a battle pass in one of them and keep it affordable, just keep the content coming. Keeping it affordable will draw in the same patrons that pay monthly fees for other games and get a heck of a lot more out of it. The only think I get from Premium is what I should be getting anyway if it was a natural game. They diminish points to pressure people into buying Premium because up to a point ranking up is just about impossible and upgrading my tank will cist almost $1m crystals. It's not worth it. Toss in extreme spawn killing as a means of obstruction and it's ridiculous. For a new player it's frustrating and for an older player it's frustrating and annoying. Both will leave in droves if they don't fix these issues. Do they even read the reviews? Because they're not encouraging at all and when you talk to the devs they blow you off. It feels like they stopped caring but don't want to give up because $.
I’ve been free to play for so many years and I just recently got a max turret. Still only around 6800 GS. However, I have been on and off and not very consistent with the weekly missions….

Dude they just need to have tanks play with their ranks or like within 2 ranks of each other. I mean dude I have a warrant officer magnum titan account that I bought one battle pass with and i either play with the rookies or I play with star ranks. I don’t think it’s possible to solve pay to wins but at least they’ll be close to the same rank so they can be beatable.
I have been playing the game since its release with yearly breaks. This game was my entire childhood and i do agree with most veterans by saying that 2015 was the best year for tanki. As for the updates and problems with the game i think they just release updates that causes more problems that they have to fix later on. Take for example matchmaking. Back then this wasn’t a problem and there was no need to add bots to the game since you could see the ranks in the map menu and decide yourself if to join or not. While i would say just revert the game back to 2015 that’s obviously impossible nowadays. Why do you think that people are asking for gamemodes that represent the old feeling? It’s because the game has changed dramatically with all of these updates and with everyone who has a wallet yes they have fun but the rest of the players really don’t like getting 1 shot 24/7 by crisis and maxed gs. I still enjoy the game mostly due to the fact that i grew up with it. P.S. I also do agree with your points mentioned in the video and sorry if this seems like im complaining about the game (like any veteran wouldn’t XD)
I think if they cracked down on the spawn killing it would make a huge difference. It's ridiculous and then you get penalized for leaving these toxic games. I leave between 3-5 games per night because it's impossible to get into the game. As soon as you spawn in some jackass is waiting to take you out of play. The overall culture of the game is awful. They trash and harass new players and target individual players to a level that I haven't seen in years. Reporting this doesn't work. The only option is to leave, but then whatever points you manage to get is gone because you left. So any new players, or even returning players, are leaving. Tanki's attitude is they don't seem to care. What they're not getting is they're not seeing a huge influx of fresh players and they won't if this keeps happening. I bought a premium acct for the first time about two weeks ago as a returning players of about six months. That may not happen again next month. There are other games that are less buggy, laggy, and toxic. I will say that the team is good and everyone plays the game right, even with the lag and the occasional bug, it's still good. Those nights are getting farer and fewer between.
I'm playing this game since 2012. Last year was boring. I have job, and I can't spend 500-1000 dollars for best and unique staff Is so fuc... expensive....so I play them less and less .....

The tanks have very little life in relation to the damage they cause and the one that is going to lose does not get as much action as the one that is going to win since he will continue destroying enemies as if they were made of paper, it is like you did not try hard almost nothing to destroy the enemy or they did not try very hard to destroy you, but if you are weak it will cost you a lot to destroy the enemy and you will be destroyed easily and it repeats everything after respawn
The action ends quickly by destroying enemies with just one shot or in less than 1 second
It's not as fun as before that when a golden box fell all the tanks were together and they didn't get destroyed in less than 2 seconds when there was a fight between you and another tank
now the strong man walks among all destroying all

Taspens I got a event Tanki could probably do which is fun a event where gold drops but there's 2 gold drop zones and 1 gold is fake and 1 gold is real and maybe everyone has all wasp and firebird or freezer idk just a new event 2 drop zones and 1 fake gold 1 real one lol
yeah.. the only thing that is worth buying from the shop in its current state is the tankoin pass.

I havent played for a while now since there is a lack of content and updates for the mobile version and also the events for these new skin are ridiculously expensive 😳

1. Battle pass comment: tanki already is struggling with new content and then balancing that out with what's already out there. They're not going to be able to introduce interesting new stuff in a BP every month. Or you just get boring cookie cutter stuff like status augments. And even then, they'd rather stick that in an RNG ultra container
2. no OD, no augment/alteration game mode: that's counterintuitive. They make money off paints and OP alterations/augments. Making popular a game mode where this stuff doesnt matter will only hurt their bottom line
3. making stuff cheaper: welp it's like would you rather have 100 1 dollar bills, or 1 100 dollar bill. I don't think tanki really cares because it won't make much of a difference on their end

I really dont hold anything against you and I really appreciate the work that you put in these vids but man the way yo talk about spending money is honestly baffling to me. Like spending upwards of 500$ just to get a "decent reward" and you saying it like it is not that big of a deal is honestly mind boggling. I used to play tanki many many years ago and I quit because the game was super pay to win and now listening to what you have to say about the prices makes me want to throw out the idea of playing it again. Even most gacha games don't sound as predatory as Tanki holy smoles man what has this game turned into. Honestly it sounds like the devs want to squeeze every penny that's left in the project from its loyal whales.
