This is an excellently executed instructional video! Apart from being very informative and a pretty good idea as a series of videos... it is also a very well thought out and prepared video. The video snippets are very helpful! This is NOT the run of the mill content creator video. It must have taken you much longer to "direct" it, edit and put together! Thank you so much! Much appreciated!
Great video overall. Explaining set debuffs as per hit causes a lot of confusion. Think of it as per ability on target. So upon using ability on a target, it’s 18%, regardless of how many hits. If ability is activated on multiple targets, then it’s 18% for each target. This way no one will get confused between aoe, multi hit and random multi hits
Hey Chosen. Thank you for the video. I just want to say that I very much appreciate the new transitions, thumb nails and use of in game footage, rather than live gameplay. Keep it up! :)
Basically any champ that has all AOE skills is great for stun. BattleSage, Physlar, etc. Supports that don't do a lot of damage and have aoe skills typically who i use for stun sets.
I have tyrant, stag knight and kymar in stun sets. Had tyrant and stag knight on my spider team until I got both my septimus' and venus. Venus septimus x2, royal guard and gurbtuk, 12s runs
I love this idea of explaining and testing the "worse" set in the game and also explaining on what stuff to keep of those trash sets. Keep up the good work
This was pretty well done. How about showing off the frenzy set and combining it with certain champions like Maulie and the defense masteries to absorb extra damage for more TM boosts, or with certain champions that hurt themselves to gain more TM, or even on skullcrown when combined with the counterattack masteries to immediately get her turn (190% TM increase if she hits 1% life). It may not be the best set in the game but I feel like frenzy might be a bit underutilized, some day I'll get around to using it.
Yes, stun set only activate once in multi hit skills. But how about on skills that places "extra hit" on certain situation, example Elhain? Or how about Big Un's first skill? I think those skills have 2 chances to proc stun
i believe those extra hit dont proc it. if they get an extra turn, yes, it would work, as it can be procced once per hit per turn, but if it says chance of placing extra hit, i dont think it would work
when a skill says it places an "extra hit" like sinesha or skullcrown, do you know if it tries to proc the stun again? I know that it CAN proc warmaster, which is why I ask.
So does it require an attack to trigger that 18%, an ability that is based on X stat? Or will any ability that targets enemies primarily work? I’m looking at Serris, with single, AOE attack, and AOE ability. If I put a stun set on her, will her A3 have a chance to stun all enemies or only her A1/2?
Question. What if a champion says places an extra hit let’s say if the first hit was critical. Will it only proc once or will the extra hit also proc the stun
That would be a really long list but I did link to the AoE default champs vid. Tried my best to dive into the parameters that make someone good in Stun.
The stun mastery is additive not multiplicative? I'd like to see a video differentiating these. Big difference between +5% and x1.05% and how to tell the difference in game. The wording is very opaque.
I know this is long overdue but it's actually bad for area specifically. The self sheild is often too small to make a huge difference and the mastery "Sheild Breaker" usually means nukers will be doing much more overall damage to champs. The small Sheild is actually working against you.
If accuracy is not necessary for such set... I think I had to rework all my champions :( Thank you for this information which is worth gold I see that *Fury* is very low... I wonder how much more damage it makes when your champion is at a very low HP percentage. Does anyone has already tried ? As it COULD be interesting with *unkillable* buff for instance.
My question is if the Daze set works the same, as it places it on the first hit, is a multi hitter gonna wake up the person on the second or third hit? As an example, if you put Scyl in a daze set, if she puts someone under sleep with her first hit of the AOE, is she gonna wake them up with the second one?
The shop is offering a 6* stun set for $25. Was wonder if it's worth the cash, seeing I have no clue what the sub stats are? +350Energy & +450k silver.
Yeah, especially if you build her with Fearsome Presence. I did this on another post, but assuming that her A2 is fully booked and she doesn't get resists/weak hits, here are the odds of landing a stun: Without Fearsome Presence and no stun set: 57.8% With Fearsome Presence and no stun set: 64% Without Fearsome Presence and stun set: 65.4% With Fearsome Presence and stun set: 72.3%
Is it true that the Fearsome Presence requires accuracy? So if you build a champ with stun set and 0 accuracy, that 5% extra will probably get resisted. Hoping you can confirm this
It seems that the +5% and it’s effect scales off what is being thrown at the enemy; an accuracy based poison will have X +5 vs enemy resistance, a stun set will have 18 +5 chance to straight stun.
Do you know how to stun set works on multiple random hits? E.g. Alure on her A1 has a 3 hit at random - will it be rolled only on the first hit - or if it targets new opponent, will it roll again?
Okay, so for stun (from stun set) multi hit skills don't matter. But let's talk about the proof. Showing the stun animation goes before the hit animation, IMHO does not prove that only the first hit matters. For all we know it could be just for convenience, it's easier to play animations one after another, rather than interleaving them. And actually we can already observe this in game. Kreela put shield first then starts hitting with her A1, not the other way around that is expected from reading the skill description. Kreela shield is based on her max HP so the value always the same, means we always know the shield value without needing her to hit a target first. But I'm guessing it's the same for damage based shield, logic dictates that the champ must hit a target first in order to know the damage that the shield value will be calculated from, right? But in truth the game can easily calculates the value right before doing all the animations. And thus can put the shield animation first before the hit animation. A better example is the Fire Knight shield, where we can see that the shield count drops right before the hit animation starts. Let's say Athel hits with her A1 (3-hit), FK shield goes down from 10 to 7 right away, then she starts hitting the boss 3 times. All I'm saying, it might be possible that the stun animation always play first before hitting animation, and the calculation done prior to that, to determine whether the stun hit or not, can take or not take into account the multi hits. Perhaps, proof by observing stun frequencies is a more assuring proof, e.g. in 100 occurence how many times stun landed with single hit vs 2-hit vs 3-hit, something like that. Has anyone ever done that? BTW, talking about Kreela and interleaving animations, have you seen what happen if her A2 hits target with counter attack buff and does not kill? Target will counter attack, hitting nothing because at the same time Kreela goes to another target to do her ally attack, it's messy.

Very kind of you thanks
So comprehensive! Much thanks, I dig your style above ashes for sure.
You definitely have the most informative Raid channel out of all popular UA-camrs. Thank you for the content!

Great idea going through the sets! Looking forward to the future uploads.
Really appreciate how comprehensive this is!
You've been killing it with thumbnails lately!
Awesome content sir! Keep up the factual and well researched information! Thank you

Love this idea of doing deep dives on gear sets!
Once again, great info! Quality for a noob like me.. Still subbed. Keep up the great work!
Really helpful video! Thanks.
Answers all my questions, awesome thank you
Great examples. Thank you.
great video chofly , very proffesional !!
Amazing work as always bro
Hey I pulled an Umbral this weekend. She is so good!
yes, try her in the frost set
Gee thanks Brad, just what we need, teaching Tormin owners how to be more suppressive! lol
Wow what a nice piece to end it with !
Good idea doing videos on gear sets. Great angle

Psylar is great in a stun set.

Hi CHofly, thx for this video! I got Suzerain Katonn - could i use him for stun set too or should i use someone else?
I have stun set on Suzerian and it works very well. Just try and find enough sub stats to still allow him to dmg.
He’s great in stun set
Just opened Hegemon on the 2x, it's like you were reading my mind

Awesome thanks 👍...
Great, just got my Bellower 😌
when a skill says it places an "extra hit" like sinesha or skullcrown, do you know if it tries to proc the stun again? I know that it CAN proc warmaster, which is why I ask.
King is Here :)
will stun set work on allure? she has a 3 hit a1 but they attack at same time so its different then your foli example
Can you please let us know if a "non hit, AOE ability" like Diabolist's Positive Charge ability, can place the stun from the stun set?
What level fire knight do you need to be farming in order for stun set to start dropping?
Right when I get me a decent fire knights farm going :>
So does it require an attack to trigger that 18%, an ability that is based on X stat? Or will any ability that targets enemies primarily work? I’m looking at Serris, with single, AOE attack, and AOE ability. If I put a stun set on her, will her A3 have a chance to stun all enemies or only her A1/2?
The artifact at the end daaaamn that's a lot of dmg 0.0
Question. What if a champion says places an extra hit let’s say if the first hit was critical. Will it only proc once or will the extra hit also proc the stun
Wow im stunned!
Would a stun set have a chance to stun on Deacon armstrong's time compression skill, or does it have to actually do damage?
You only mentioned two champs for the stun set,? figured you would have given us a list of champs
That would be a really long list but I did link to the AoE default champs vid. Tried my best to dive into the parameters that make someone good in Stun.
It's like people dont listen... aoe skills mate
Do you have a video on relentless gear if not can you make one?
The stun mastery is additive not multiplicative? I'd like to see a video differentiating these. Big difference between +5% and x1.05% and how to tell the difference in game. The wording is very opaque.
It's confirmed additive
Would lua work in a stun set due to her dealing damage to all enemies if critical?
how does the stun set work with luas a1? do it apply on her first singletarget attack, or also on the aoe?
Does it apply to Elhai A3 Double attack? I read the same question from another guy he did not get a reply
GG for the lifesteal chest =) I have one question, why the divine speed set is B-tier for you ? It's better version of speed due to the extra shield
I know this is long overdue but it's actually bad for area specifically. The self sheild is often too small to make a huge difference and the mastery "Sheild Breaker" usually means nukers will be doing much more overall damage to champs. The small Sheild is actually working against you.
@@whiskeyweekly7533 I underestimate the power of this mastery. Ty for the answer =)
Is there a reason why divine speed is rated worse than speed on your chart? Is it due to it not being easily farmed?
If accuracy is not necessary for such set... I think I had to rework all my champions :(
Thank you for this information which is worth gold

She was in the past but after 2.10 version, she's not going to wake them up with the second hit anymore. Plarium changed that
Good stuff :D
Could Hegemon be good in a stun set for arena?
He NEEDS to be in stun. 100%
The shop is offering a 6* stun set for $25. Was wonder if it's worth the cash, seeing I have no clue what the sub stats are? +350Energy & +450k silver.
where is the spreadsheet link??
you also didnot post the link of tier list 3.0............???
Would Skyl of the Drakes be a good candidate for a stun set? She has stun debuff on A2 already
Yeah, especially if you build her with Fearsome Presence. I did this on another post, but assuming that her A2 is fully booked and she doesn't get resists/weak hits, here are the odds of landing a stun:
Without Fearsome Presence and no stun set: 57.8%

Is the stun only on the A1?
Would Hegemon be a good candidate?
Definitely!
you know that its a flex when you use a single champ for clan boss just to show the cooldown :P
Do you know how to stun set works on multiple random hits? E.g. Alure on her A1 has a 3 hit at random - will it be rolled only on the first hit - or if it targets new opponent, will it roll again?
It rolls once per target. So doesn’t matter how many times it hit on single target, it’s 18%. If it hits multiple, it’s 18% on each target, not hit
I want to add.. it’s really bad to explain these set ability per hit, which causes a lot of confusion. Think of them as per ability on target.
Stupid question from a fairly new guy: what does it mean when a character is locked?
Okay, so for stun (from stun set) multi hit skills don't matter. But let's talk about the proof.

Just put divine speed number 1. I know its hard to get but that's like saying siphi isn't the best cause she is hard to get...
Would be too broken if it worked on multihittrrs. Lua would be a God
First lol
