Used to shred enduro trails on my xc hardtail before dual suspension bikes got good enough to make it worth the switch. Whole different style of riding. Way more active.
Yeah, it’s kind of the way we had to ride back in the day. I have actually let this bike go and picked up full squish last year for my 44th birthday!! I do think another hardcore hardtail is in my future.
Just keep sending it Pete, love your videos man!
Ii can’t help but send it! I am just glad downhill season is just about here!

Riding wasnt too bad at all, dude! Glad your fine!
Thanks, just little scratch. However, it still hasn’t healed.
I put chunkier tires on mine, the rapid robs wore out super fast, and felt super slippery.
The Rapid Rob’s really don’t inspire confidence on the trail.
New version of this bike seems to come with 2.35's, and its fast as heck on my local trails. Now if only its rider was as good as the bike 😀
Nice, the bigger tires are a definite plus. I am sure it won’t be long before the rider is faster than the bike!
This bike was my first serious hardtail, easily done over 5k miles on her, I'm not sure she is enduro ready but she is a XC flying machine!
I think you’re right about that! I’ve since picked up Ransom to satisfy the need for these trails. But this Scale rides like an Ebike up hill.
Would this be a good starter bike?
Yes, it is a great starter bike. It is very upgradable and pretty good to go out of the box.
PETE FOR PRESIDENT OF THE HARDTAIL FOR LIFE ASSOCIATION 👍🚲👍👍👍AWESOME JOB
I will represent the Hardtails to my fullest abilities
this trail is awesome! My dad did it on his scale 930. it was really frickin sketchy.
Your dad is a brave man! It is wild on these skinny tires
