A Bank Holiday Day On The Severn Valley Railway 28/08/2023

Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways
In this video during the August Bank Holiday Monday of 2023 we make our long awaited return to our friends at The Severn Valley Railway 4 months since our last visit during their GWR 100 Spring Steam Gala.
Originally our visit was to see Phil Swallow's rebuilt West Country 21C127 Taw Valley however he was not fit to work during the day of our visit due to injector problems the night before upon arrival back to Bewdley MPD on Sunday night.
So The 75069 Funds's Standard 4 75069 took his place instead.
We spend the morning at Kidderminster as we 1st see 75069 waiting to depart with the 1st train of the day to Bridgnorth giving us the chance to some shots at close quarters before we see her depart.
Also in action was The Severn Valley Pannier Tank Fund's 7714 who she was to work only 1 round trip from Kiddermisnter to Bridgnorth.
We join her train for a run up the line. This was in fact a rerun of the ill fated filming back in August 2021 as the rain came down during the run up Eardington Bank now 2 years later we finally got 7714 going northbound no problem.
We have some time at Bridgnorth before we see the arrival of 75069 from Kidderminster. Here we join her train for the run back to Kidderminster as part of our journey home.
We end at Kidderminster as we roll into the station to end this video.
Seeing 75069 in action is a preview when she heads to The North Yorkshire Moors Railway for the railway's 50th Anniversary Steam Gala. But that's another story.
