4K Driving tour in Chetumal, Mexico. Chetumal is located on the east coast of Yucatán in Mexico. It is the capital of the state of Quintana Roo. Chetumal is an important port for the region and operates as Mexico's main trading gateway with the neighboring country of Belize. It is a growing city with an international airport and has a Museum of Maya Culture as well as a zoo. From Chetumal to Bacalar it is only a 20 minute drive.
