Google TV is currently experiencing a problem when searching for various apps.
Sorry app not available on this TV error is commonly found when searching for popular apps such as Downloader, JioPages, and many others.
This problem can be easily fixed by opening the actual Google Play Store and searching for what you want on your Google TV / Android TV device. But, Google TV no longer provides a shortcut for the Google Play Store. Google expects you to do all of your searches through the new App section in the new user interface but unfortunately it doesn't work very well.
In this video, I will show you four different ways to fix the App not available error in Google TV / Android TV operating system.

Why isnt the play store not like the one on my phone
I think many of you will agree, Troy is ALWAYS on point and his tutorials are detailed, well articulated and easy to follow! He is without a doubt extremely knowledgeable and should be your "go to" source for related content.

Another good video, Troy. I’ve tried this a few times and was hoping you have an answer for me. When I install Sideload Luncher on my TiVo Stream 4K, there are two icons/apps showing for JioPages, not one. How do I remove one of them or is there some kind of bug with these apps I’m not aware of right now?

Thanks for your vid but after trying twice, I always ended to a black screen after using the sideoad launcher, launch manager. Seems to be not updated versions! Any other alternative for Google TV actual OS version ?
Would you prefer jiopages over something like puffin browser?
Thanks Troy, I have been trying to put the Roku channel on the Onn box, the sideloaded apk wont open, and web browser with mouse toggle will not move the tiles sideways...I havent found a workaround yet. the full playstore will not allow the instalation.
I followed the guide on my nVidia Shield TV 4K but when I launch Launcher Manager and then click 'enable custom launcher', I get an error saying "connection failed. Try re-enabling ADB debugging in Settings. Restart if problems persist". I've tried restarting the Shield, and re-enabling USB debugging, but I still get the error. 🤷♂️

Hello I tried downloading wolf launcher but the app won't install
Wolf Launcher and Launcher Manager screws up my Tivo 4K. It tries to switch to Wolf, but the screen goes blue for a few seconds, then goes black. The black screen cannot be undone. I’ve unplugged the power several times, and the Home Screen never loads. It remains a black screen after the Tivo animation screens disappear when it boots up. The only way to undo this I’ve seen so far is by factory resetting the Tivo.

I want to download the Kasa smart app(for my outdoor cameras)on my Hisense Google TV. I've tried using Downloader. And willing to use Kodi. Kodi 20 Is actually in the play store on this tv. Any suggestions. I tried this guide. But not following very well.

Sounds like you are using Downloader on a generic Android Box running regular Android and not Android TV. I suggest just using Chrome Browser instead on boxes like that.
is there pause, rewind or fast forward button on it?
Hi Crolynne no there isn't but you can always get to those buttons on screen by clicking the OK button on remote during playback.
I typed in geopages. Went fine.
The specs on that box indicate that it isn't running Android TV, just plain Android. There are limitations in ordinary Android, so I'd recommend using a unit running Android TV.
Linda, this is 100% Android TV based on Android 12. Google TV is the user interface.
When u search for Downloader it doesn't come up. Not sure what yo do. Im in developer mode
Try again. It was removed from Google Play but is now back.
If that's was the problem with mine it would be great but instead it just not passing connection stage and if it do pass that stage its updating this is just not working out
Hi Daniel, I would suggest doing a factory reset. If that doesn't work take it back and either get a new one or demand a refund.

I can't seem to find Downloader in Google Play. I did open Google Play store and tried to search but it doesn't appear. I use it all the time for my other devices. Anyone else having this issue?

Launcher manager just gives me a white screen when opened. Any thoughts?
Make sure you are using Launcher Manager for Android and if that doesn't help, try rebooting device. More than likely you are using Launcher Manager for Fire TV.
Ok I guess I am an idiot. How do you move the red ring around the screen?? Mine only moves from one side Tod the screen to the other and up and down. I can not get it to move to the middle of the screen to click any of the download buttons 🤦♀️
