Yeah, I hated Lori too. I made this video because I would love to see why she was so annoying. Now, I think she was just clumsy with her triangle love and she did not know how to deal with. Despite her pregnancy, big mistake in apocalyptic world, she made the choice, as you say it, to keep her baby, for that she is brave for me.
Kayleigh A • The baby would not have turned. She was going to take the abortion pill which would have caused her to have a miscarriage. Anyway, she was only weeks pregnant, it was a tiny featus, there was nothing to turn
Okay I know Lori is a difficult character to tolerate (but if I had to chose between her and Andrea Lori would win) but she does show about admitting her mistakes. She didn’t love Shane, she just wanted to feel again and Shane provides that. I love how she chose Rick over Shane. I think one of the main reasons people hate Lori is because she often contradicted herself and was a huge hypocrite. (EX: Telling Rick to go save Merle in Atlanta, then later fighting him about going, telling Shane to leave and then asking him to stay.) That constant back and forth made her seem like an idiot.

@@mennaemam1819 yeah michonne will always be better but Lori isn't that bad. It's bad that people like Shane more when he is just as wrong for doing that as she is
Lori's character was also probably hated because she was so realistic. She wasn't always one step ahead of everything and often made mistakes. She struggled with how to raise her son in a cruel and changed world and she struggled to adapt to it. She had to go against everything she ever knew to survive. (She was a housewife and believed in misogynistic/traditional ideas and gender roles which no longer applied during the apocalypse.) I don't believe that's just the way she was, but that was the way she was raised and speaking as someone who was raised in church, it's extremely hard to change your ideals after being taught a certain way from birth.
1) She kept giving Shane mix signals, which nearly contributed in getting Rick killed in season 2 by Shane. Twice! It seems like every time she approaches Shane, after he tries to distance himself from her, the more he wants to kill Rick🤦🏻! 2) She doesn’t watch her son like she should have, as he wonders off a lot under her watch, mostly talking about season 2. 3) She almost got Glenn and Maggie killed over some petty supply runs. 4) She’s pretty useless in a fight in season 1-2. She gets a pass in season 3, for obvious reasons. 5) She wrecked a car in season 2 for looking at a map while driving, and could’ve got others killed while looking for her. 6) She slept with Rick’s best friends and seemed to have moved on pretty quickly. 7) She considered that it would’ve been better for Carl to die in season too, because she was too much of a coward to try and survive and find a away fir her family to make due. 8) She disrespectfully used Glenn for “fetch quests”, and didn’t even try to come along for the items SHE wanted. 9) During a flashback, she literally complained that Rick was too nice to her. Which is evidence on why she quickly fell for Shane, when she thought that Rick (very recently) died. This says a lot about who she is. 10) borderline misogynistic. “Let the man handle this” and other similar unwanted comments to ladies who clearly don’t share that view. This also make her seem lazy. 11) Lori🙍🏻♀️is largely useless and manipulative, too. She has been called out about it by Darryl, and a f$$kin season 2 Andrea🙎🏼♀️. At least Andrea took the time to guard, clean guns, do weapon checks, do the same choirs as Lori, and actively practice shooting. 12) Did a terrible job in convincing Shane that it isn’t his baby in Lori. In season 2 E12, her last conversation with Shane, before he murdered Randell, was seriously unnecessary and pointless to say. It was this conversation that broke Shane’s reasoning and gave him false hope about Lori, a baby that’s highly likely his, and Carl. 13) She never told anyone that she was almost almost r@ped by Shane, and still wanted to be close to him💀. I love Lori so much, She’s still my favorite Walking Dead character, I’ll always love and defend her. Thank you Sarah Wayne Callies for bringing her to life. The show isn’t the same without her.
(SPOILERS) Let's be honest, we've all hated Lori at some point. She made stupid decisions, one of the biggest being her affair with Shane, but I mean he was Rick's best friend, he should have never made advancements towards her in the first place. If she were to let go of her misogynistic, traditional ideals about women and whatnot I believe she could have survive far longer. She would have likely gotten divorced from Rick, yet still be part of the group, and would have been there to help Rick raise Carl the right way. (I say this because Rick often forgot to take care of his son because of everything he had to do which led to Carl being cold and killing just to kill (at least until after the prison).) I don't think she would have lived for much longer after the prison but I would have loved to see her become likeable at some point. Just like Beth, shame they both died so abruptly and quick.
Nothing towards you; you did a great job on this! I just hate Lori. I sure do. She put those men at odds for her own selfish reasons. I bet she latched onto Shane as soon as Rick's prognosis wasn't looking good because she wanted someone to take care of her entitled behind. In the end, she needed Rick & Shane at odds. If not, she risked them turning against her... bros before hoes 🤷🏾♀️ She kept Judith bc she knew Rick would raise her and she thought it would fix their marriage. As Judith's bio father, she knew Shane would protect J, so it's a win-win for her and the kids. She was self centered and manipulated their emotions. Lori had to die for Rick to grow bc she was killing his spirit. It was over and he needed to let her go. They both did. Yes, she thought he died but my biggest issue with her was how she acted AFTER Rick found them. I didn't see transformation. I saw a woman that was upset because her husband didnt run back to her like things were all dandy. Lori set the group back. Ijs
Agree! Also her decision were dumb! She was a good mother but not good enough for an apocalypse, she lost Carl more times than I can count (especially after losing Sofia she should had been with him all the time). Also she wanted to play housewives in the apocalypse instead of learning how to survive! Not to mention her telling rick to clearly kill off Shane and then freaking out and being a bitch when he did in self defense.
Who else knew her as Sara Scofield (nee Tancredi) before Lori Grimes? I recently started watching TWD, I just got to 2x07, and I can't decide if I like or hate her? I loved her as Sara but Lori kind of bugs me since she's not a very good mom. Hopefully she gets better and I can love get. For now, I just like her.

@@brunology8624 Oh, I haven't gotten that far. I'm on season 7 episode 13. Yeah, Glenn and Daryl are great! Do you remember what your favorite ships/couples were?
I hated her at the start but after she stood up to Shane and told him ricks back ok you lied to me. You could tell she didn’t mean to “you know” Shane it was just the heat of the moment and tbh...if I was old enough I would to 😂 ( don’t come at me that last sentence was a joke )
I did not hate Lori but what i really disliked about her was that she told Shane that even if it was his baby it was not gonna be his baby no matter what, i was like "what the shit is she talking about??? if it’s his baby then it’s his period you don’t get to choose who the father is just cause you want to live a happy life with your husband that would be unfair to Shane and to the baby"
Well, to be fair. As much as I dislike Lori, I see where she's coming from when she said what she said. Think about it. They literally have no way to tell whose baby it belongs to. They don't have a doctor or machine that can test DNA. So why complicate the situation any further? She's with Rick. So it's Rick's baby. Especially since there no way to prove it isn't.
Who cares how "pretty" she was? She was an awful mother who never trained Carl for the apocalypse yet always let him out of her sight. She was also an awful wife that betrayed Rick the moment she thought he was dead. Not to mention how useless she was in the apocalypse, always needing to be saved. I'd rather have a badass like Michonne at my side than have Lori next to me, waiting for me to die just so she can get with my best friend. Why do you think everyone hates Lori yet loves Michonne? Michonne is a keeper. Michonne is a bad ass that can take care of herself AND she stayed loyal to Rick SIX YEARS after his death. Michonne was a better wife AND mother. Michonne taught Judith how to survive. Lori would never have been able to do that. Lori was always useless which is why everyone dislikes her. Being "pretty" doesn't mean more likable. Fact. Michonne>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Lori. End of story.
Nah, I prefer Rick and Michonne over Rick and Lori. Lori was an awful wife and awful mother. Who would want to be with a female who sleep with thier best friend? Lori wasn't good for anyone. She would have just held people back in the apocalypse. Michonne was a real survivor and more than a match for Rick. She wasn't a damsel in distress. Believe it or not, the people who dislike Michonne are doing it for shallow reasons like "She's not conventionally pretty". Guess what, that's subjective and I think the actress is gorgeous in her own badass way. And in the apocalypse, there's nothing more gorgeous than a woman that can take care of herself. No one wants a damsel in distress who's going to weigh them down. And Lori is indeed a damsel in distress.
I'm glad they killed her off. I couldn't stand her. I get the show follows the comics VERY loosely, but she was useless, didn't do anything, all she did was hold rick back, and in the end, she just died by giving birth. What a total waste of a character and I am so glad they got rid of her so early into The Walking Dead.

I love Lori so much, She’s still my favorite Walking Dead character, I’ll always love and defend her. Thank you Sarah Wayne Callies for bringing her to life. The show isn’t the same without her.
I love her😭
(SPOILERS)
Let's be honest, we've all hated Lori at some point.
Ijs
I agree
Exactly she was annoying.
I loved her so much 😢 she will always have a special place in my heart 😔
Cool
Who else knew her as Sara Scofield (nee Tancredi) before Lori Grimes?
I recently started watching TWD, I just got to 2x07, and I can't decide if I like or hate her? I loved her as Sara but Lori kind of bugs me since she's not a very good mom. Hopefully she gets better and I can love get. For now, I just like her.
Kindra Corbridge I started the show cause I watched her in prison break
@@brunology8624 Do you like the show so far? What season are you on? Who's your favorite character or characters? What's your favorite couple or couples?
I was surprised when I saw her on the show. Her character however, annoyed me!! Thank heavens I knew her as Sara before I knew her as Lori. Sara is better than Lori, because she actually knows how to loyal to her husband!!
@@kindracorbridge9092 I’ve stopped watching the show after season 9 episode 5, my favourite character was Glenn or Daryl
@@brunology8624 Oh, I haven't gotten that far. I'm on season 7 episode 13. Yeah, Glenn and Daryl are great! Do you remember what your favorite ships/couples were?
@@kindracorbridge9092 probably just Glenn and Maggie tbh
idec i loved Lori
@@Ryan-uu8oz I know you are right I just think it’s not fair to Shane
Not like she knew who the father even was.
this is weird , like rick is cheating on michonne
Lori ultra instinct doko
the wife of prison break it self ♥
At first, I hated Lori. After watching again, I hate her still 😂😂😂
She also screwed Rick's mind about, then acted as if she didn't do anything
Yes she was annoying.
I liked her
"i love you" 🙄🙄🙄🙄😒 no
Tbh I don't see sarah wayne callies (lori) in alot of twd bloopers it's almost like no one really cares about her.
🎉❤🎉🎉😊
The best scenes of Lori was after her death. FACTS
?
@the boss’s bitch why did you like her in the series?
No, those were the worst cuz she was just some ghost.
No
@@808robins9 shut up
Lori was prettier than Michoane. End of the story.
@@Ryan-uu8oz carl and michonne had a cool friendship but I prefer rick and lori over rick and michonne
Michone is far more useful than lori
@@Ryan-uu8oz yeah michonne is better , but lori is the one real wife of rick even she was doing bad thing before
I'm glad they killed her off. I couldn't stand her. I get the show follows the comics VERY loosely, but she was useless, didn't do anything, all she did was hold rick back, and in the end, she just died by giving birth. What a total waste of a character and I am so glad they got rid of her so early into The Walking Dead.
