    Hi airbullet10,
    Good question. The speakers are not Beats Audio branded but they are improved by the Beats Audio integration in the Rezound.

    Hi RogerMiranda23,
    Great question! I would go with the Rezound because of the iBeats headphones that come with it, and because you will pay less for a phone with almost the same specs.

    @xNzzyz You're probably referring to the HTC Sensation XE, which is not sold in the US. I have never seen the Sensation XE, but my understanding is that the Rezound is different in a few ways. This includes the Rezound's 720p display and LTE network.

    @Peanut5922 No, the Rezound uses a "standard" LTE SIM, a size that is often called a "mini-SIM." The size of the new "micro-SIM" is referred to as "3FF" for some reason.

    Hi imagestudiord,
    The sim card slot is because it has LTE, not because it is GSM. It will not work with a GSM sim card.

  • @wirefly

    @danymexraptor The "LTE card" is a SIM card. It is required to activate the phone. The Rezound will not work without an LTE SIM, and you can only activate the phone if you have an activated LTE SIM. It will come with the Rezound when you get a data plan.

    @HaikosVideos No, you don't need to use headphones to make a phone call. The Rezound works like any other bar-style phone for making phone calls.

    Hi azcardinal11,
    The Rezound does need a sim to activate the phone. When you order from Wirefly it will be in the box when it is delivered to you at no charge.

    Hi KILLERELITEDoes,
    You can transfer music to the onboard storage on the Rezound, or you can out it on a microSD card and then install that in to the Rezound.

    @WudUpReN I'm not sure I understand your question. For the most part, the iPhone and an Android phone have different apps. However, there are many different apps that perform the same (or very similar) function. For example, you can download iWay GPS for iPhone, and use Google Maps for Android -- not exactly the same, but similar.

    The ThunderBolt is both rounder and squarer, if that's not contradictory. The Rezound is more squared off and rectangular, so the two phones feel different in the hand. If it was my choice and the cost was close, I'd much rather have the Rezound.
    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  12 років тому

    @quallen1 One way to transfer data is to plug your current phone into a computer, move the files onto the computer, then move the files onto the Rezound when you get it. Or you can take the Rezound to a Verizon store with your old phone and they will help you move the files.

    @AnfieldRiot When you receive the phone from Wirefly, it will have the LTE SIM. The phone will not work without it, so be sure it is correctly placed in its slot.

    @rishabhrekhi The Rezound is CDMA and LTE. It can not be made to work on GSM systems.

    @wirefly  12 років тому

    @AnfieldRiot I'm not sure what sort of SIM the BlackBerry Storm 2 has, but it's probably a GSM SIM for global operation. In any event, only an LTE SIM will work in the Rezound.

    Hi kevin9158,
    I do not have a Rezound in front of me to double check but I believe that the holes you are talking about are for the ringer. When your phone rings it will come out of those holes. Otterbox would not have a cut out for those due to the water resistant design.
    -Scott at Wirefly

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  12 років тому

    @godofwar691 No, a GSM SIM will not work in the Rezound, even if the Rezound is unlocked. The Rezound works only with a Verizon LTE SIM.

    Hi AlgolscIV,
    I don't fully understand your question. If you are asking if the Rezound is the replacement for the Thunderbolt I would say it is a replacement, but we do not sell the Rezound any longer. The replacement for the Rezound is the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE. Let me know if this was not your question.
    -Scott at Wirefly

    Hi kevin9158,
    The Beats audio is a digital equalizer so it will improve the sound coming out of the phone some. It will not sound as good as the headphones but you will be able to notice a difference.

    @Urforehead Yes, the Rezound has bluetooth. However, it's my understanding that the Beats technology doesn't work through bluetooth. You might want to take your Beats wireless device to a Verizon store and check a Rezound to see if you can make it work.

    Hi DoubleJSings,
    The iBeats will work on your brothers iPod Touch. They are fantastic headphones and I would not hand them over so easy. Paired with the Beats Audio technology the Rezound has the best audio I have heard from a phone or MP3 player.
    -Scott at Wirefly

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  13 років тому

    @Gabe128 No, the Rezound will not work with a T-Mobile or AT&T SIM, even if the phone is unlocked. The Rezound uses technology that is not compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T.

    @vasyasol The Rezound is a US model and I don't know if there will be an international version. A Rezound from the US will not work in the UK, even if it is unlocked. It does not support GSM networks.
    The Rezound has been available in the US for about 5 weeks.

    @Redbridz222 The Rezound is not a GSM phone -- it's an LTE phone. Those are two different technologies on two different frequencies. It's like trying to put a Honda fuel injector in a Ford... it just won't get the job done.

    Verizon has lots of choice, and my recommendation is the Rezound. Prices change all the time, so if that hits your price range, the Rezound is my pick. The LG Spectrum and the new LG Lucid are both very good, and the Motorola DROID RAZR is also a very nice phone. Lots of choice... I hope you're shopping with Wirefly!

    Hi inkProf,

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  12 років тому

    @nightblitzx No, GSM SIMs will not work. The LTE radios in the Rexound are in the 700MHz band, so the other LTE service would also have to be 700MHz. Right now, no other LTE service in the US is close to 700MHz, as far as I know.
    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  13 років тому

    @Jakems28 The Rezound is only available in black, so far. I do not know when/if a white version will be available. FWIW, HTC eventually made a white version of the EVO 4G and it was a good looking device. Maybe that will be done with the Rezound as well.
    Bob at Wirefly

    @DHARUNTHEDESTROYER The version of the Rezound sold in the US for Verizon will not work with GSM SIMs. There is a related international version called the HTC Sensation XE/XL, although not all the specs match. That version will work with GSM SIMs.

    @JanieRae21 LTE requires a SIM. It is the same size as the SIMs in most T-Mobile and AT&T phones, but it works completely differently. They are not interchangable, even if you unlock the phone. However, a SIM is required in an LTE phone, even if all you want to do is get to the main screen.

    Hi Drigerification,
    It looks like there is an international version of the Rezound. Wirefly does not offer that version of the Rezound. I would recommend doing a search on "Unlocked HTC Rezound". You should find a few options for the international version.

    @koshman1980 We can't publish the price until the phone launches, which will be on Nov. 14. At that time, you can go to Wirefly and get the latest price. I generally do no list prices here, as they change all the time and tend to confuse people.

    @hjtomhj You should give the Rezound an audition. It comes with iBeats earphones and the Rezound has Beats Audio technology built in. All that should give it an edge over the iPhone, but an audition should tell for sure. One consideration is pre-2009 iTunes songs have DRM that only Apple can unlock. Can't play those in the Rezound without paying Apple to unlock them.

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  13 років тому

    @MarinBelec You should probably start with a Google search regarding 4G. Basically, it is a faster network technology that connects to cell phones at the sort of speeds you get with a cable modem at home.
    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  11 років тому

    Hi inkProf,
    The Rezound was not a great selling phone for HTC and I think they were also looking for a way to reduce the cost of the phone and make more profit on it. That is why they don't include iBeats headphones with their phone anymore.
    -Scott at Wirefly

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  13 років тому

    @bawx19 It's probably possible to unlock the phone, but it will only work with an LTE SIM. The 4G radios inside the phone are LTE only, tuned to Verizon's frequencies. It will not work with a GSM SIM.
    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  13 років тому

    @dubtank420 The HTC Rezound is only from Verizon. As far as I know, there is no version of it for any other carrier, either in the US or in any other country.
    Bob at Wirely

  • @wirefly
    @wirefly  13 років тому

    @bawx19 No. LTE is not the same as GSM and the two are not interchangable. And LTE providers use different frequencies, so AT&T's LTE will not work with Verizon. A GSM SIM will not work in the Rezound, and LTE SIMs from providers other than Verizon will not work, either. The Rezound will work only with LTE SIMs from Verizon.

    @wirefly I completely understand. I got this phone about 3 days ago and I can't put it down. The beats are phenominal. And the phone itself it better than anyone can imagine. Hi daultonisbeasty,
    The DROID RAZR yes, but the RAZR Maxx is another story. That match-up would come down to if you would use the Beats Audio more or if battery life is more important.

    @wirefly  13 років тому

    @AnnaaLoves Yes, I'd consider the Rezound better than the DROID Bionic. The Rezound has a higher resolution display, comes with iBeats earphones & Beats Audio technology, it's a little faster on standard benchmarks. The DROID Bionic is a nice phone, however.

    @lilbillu Sri Lanka is an island off the coast of India, right?
    The Rezound is locked to Verizon in the US, and it uses CDMA and LTE technology. It does not use the GSM technology that you almost certainly use in Sri Lanka, and the Rezound can't be made to work with GSM. Ask Dialog if it uses GSM... chances are that it does.

    @djlobb I have the Samsung Galaxy S II (Epic 4G Touch for Sprint) and the HTC Rezound on my desk, but don't have the iPhone 4S. Of the two that I have, the Samsung has better sound.
