So the weirdest part about the AI pictures of people that look so real is they look like real people more than real people's posts on Instagram do. Real people filter and change themselves so much they look like AI and the AI looks more like real people. It's wild what we have become.
OMG this reminds me of something I noticed while rewatching the matrix trilogy. if you pay attention to the dynamic between neo and agent smith at the end of the third movie you will realize how much neo acts and looks more like AI than agent smith does. throughout the whole series smith was beginning to show far more human-like emotion on his face and through his behavior than neo did and that started right after neo was RESURRECTED and ran through agent smith "setting him free" its almost like they switched. this made the series 10x more interesting for sure

I have a theory that a very large amount of the accounts on social media are AI/bots. I think they're the ones starting a lot of the discourse and division online as well.

See, I went to Ripleys wax museum when I was about 14 and as soon as I walked in I can’t even explain the amount of horror i felt. I actually started balling and had to close my eyes the entire way through the museum and my mom had to guide me. Finding out that there was a reason for that uneasy feeling made me feel like I wasn’t just being scary😂😂 Im now 22 and haven’t stepped foot in another wax museum nor will I ever.

I do instacart as a side gig and I’m new to the area I just started in but on my last delivery a thunderstorm came and messed up the signal in the area so I had to find my way home in the dark and I was terrified because it dawned on me just how dependent we are as a species on this technology . Luckily I found a 24 hour gas station that had Wi-Fi so I could put my address in but if I didn’t find that place I would’ve been stuck in the dark with no one to call because my phone wouldn’t let me make a call. I agree with you that we seriously need to start focusing more on life skills instead of college because if something were to happen in a couple of months or year from now that knocks all of theses grids out and leave technology useless wtf are we going to do ? A degree can’t do much when your hungry and don’t know how to grow your own food or hunt or build shelter.
I recently had some of my insurance superbills denied towards my deductible. The woman on the phone literally told me it was a computer checking it sometimes and people other times so I probably got denied because a robot couldn’t do the math. They’re out here denying deductibles and thus insurance WE PAY for. It’s all INTENTIONAL. It’s awful and I agree with all this.
My job is introducing AI into it as well . Basically the AI is writing a summary of our calls that we usually write the notes for and it’s just really weird. I’m glad they didn’t come to me for that bullshit. Apparently some of my coworkers were willing participants.
A tip on the AI pictures of "real" people, the pupils are obvious to me because some are shaped weird. As if they all have a eye pupil shape disorder. Eye pupils shouldn't be blown out wide unless they are on drugs especially with the light in front of their face. Knowing that fact gives me uncanny valley. Also the eye shape is also warped in some of them. Like they aren't even round in some of them
