I wish my dad was still with me. He would have love your videos even more than I do. He owned a kosher butcher shop and used to work with all these cuts of meat that nobody sees anymore. Kosher style is different than what you do, so this is even more fascinating to me. We used to pickle our own beef tongues and corned beefs in large barrels in the walk in refrigerator. (I hated reaching in to pull them out.)

It also showed how undercooked and tough his is. Beef tongue is tender and delicate. That is tough and chewy. Not ideal. Boil/braise for a longer time. You are welcome.

I love beef tongue. My grandmother made it so tender and delicious. I love watching you cook onions and mushrooms in butter and oil. I love that flavor especially with garlic. I was wondering the other day if you ate beef tongue… so pleased to see this video. Your trees are magnificent! I’m hoping the honey bee’s are loving the blossoms. Your way of cooking tongue is Super recipe. I love the fire pit. I think I will make one like yours and find me a saj pan. I love to pick flowers. I want to try and pick some to dry and save in jars for tea. It’s a lot to learn all the wild edible flowers and greens but it’s satisfying. Many people are picking morel mushrooms in the forest now. Tongue is a delicacy. I had it pickled in a vinegar sliced thin. It's something to try at least once.
It is one of the very best cuts of meat that is overlooked here in the west. But whatever, more tongue for me! :)

My grandmother fixed beef tongue when I was young. It was inexpensive back in the 60s. Delicious. It's so expensive now in the US

So the boss said to me that he wanted me to cook something like 1000 cow tongues and that was my first time tasting cow tongue. They taste so good so for you people who haven't eaten tongue or even pig ears, don't knock them until you've tried them.

Beef tongue is the best!! Absolutely super. I make it in my pressure cooker all the time. Too bad it's not as affordable as it used to be here in Brazil.
As an Indonesian, I feel you. Tongue used to be an affordable cut but I suppose when the yield is so low per animal, the price is bound to rise with increasing demands.

Does beef tongue taste like beef meat or is it a totally different taste. I have never tried it or known anyone in America who has, I would love to sample it though to see what it taste like
@@ThePeacePlant it tastes very soft, if its done right it has a chewy, flavorful texture, its actually one of the best peices of meat in my opinion

You eat with your eyes first, amazed how you took the food you cook and make an art work out of it and the different views of the mountains around you, stunning!!!!
I hope people used more of the animals, we used every part of the sheep and deer on our farm. Sheep and deer tounge done right, is probably some of my all time favourite meals, great to use on a slice of bread in the morning.
