I needed this because i have no experience in tech and i wanna be a software developer ,or software engineer, cloud engineer or cloud support. But i know i need to , get into help desk first to get handsoff
Maybe I missed something, but I'm still curious about how she transitioned from an EA role to becoming a skilled GRC/Solutions Architect, especially with a background in Theology. She mentioned mastering SharePoint in her government role, but there wasn’t much on where she picked up the cybersecurity expertise that landed her current position. I really enjoyed the interviewer though-had a style that reminded me of Richard Pryor, very humorous!
I am currently working on my google cyber security certification. I’m still wondering what role I want to pursue but she definitely has helped me narrow down some suggestions
As a father of daughters these are things I like to show my kids, to show them you don’t have to solely rely on looks and accept low hanging fruit for money
"break into cybersecurity fast" "no experience" Nope, clickbait. Cybersecurity is a very in-depth field that requires a high level of niche expertise. It's a subset of computer science/engineering.
@@MyWatermelonz watch the video before you judge there is no promises made. Gives detailed instructions how to get into the field if you literally don’t have any experience.
@@realtechwokethen why the clickbait title? You dont break into this field w/o experience, period. By some chance you do because of a connection or nepotism, they're gonna find out real quick you don't know anything. This isn't a field you learn on the job.
@ I got in the field with no experience. Know so many people got in without experience. How to you start any career with experience. Somebody takes chance on you and you learn.
@@realtechwoke the complaints about the tech job market right now are real. People can't get Helpdesk, entry level jobs right now with credentials and experience. Cybersecurity-anything, is a mid to senior level IT role. You get experience for this by working and learning through lower level positions, while upping your education on the side.

Glad to see you’re teaching your kids the importance of skills and knowledge!
Yes this market is trash. I've resigned from my current role due to personal reasons...this was in June, it's now mid October and nothing..
Just have to keep trying or find a new avenue
You resigned?! Welp, that's it. Time to switch careers cause it's gonna be hard af to get back in
