Outro Music: "Rise of the Heroes" by Jon Wright - Фільми й анімація
Dougary Scott (Sean Ambrose) was cast as Logan/Wolverine in Bryan Singer's X-Men (2000) but couldn't do the film because Mission Impossible 2 had a lot of reshoots that kept him from filming X-Men (2000) and Hugh Jackman was cast to replace Dougary Scott. I am guessing Hugh Jackman's favorite film of all time is Mission Impossible 2!
Wow, sad for dougary, and it's hard not to feel so sorry for him, but damn I'm so glad we got hugh for the role!
F**K Bryan Singer!
Did Bryan singer direct the first X-Men?
You know, characters apologizing for reckless driving really is a solid win. It almost NEVER happens.
Friends won’t even apologize for reckless driving in real life
Everyone's always like "oh, Burj Khalifa and Cargo Plane are the most dangerous thing Tom's done." But, have you ever considered the time Tom Cruise asked a co-star to stab him in the face? 13:23
Well how do you define danger? Is complete and utter death higher up on the list than mere mutilation?
The way that knife was going at that speed to his eye, that would not have been mere mutilation. That would have been the loss of an eye AND possible death. @@PJOZeus
Please do everything great about the Cornetto Trilogy!!! I'm eager to see how much you like it after seeing how much you loved Scott Pilgrim and Baby Driver
Ya Boi GIBSON sorry Bud infinity war first
You do understand he won't be able to make that video until the dvd/blu ray is released in like 6 months right?
He has to start with hot fuzz tho
I really hope he does that
Keep asking, hopefully one day he'll tackle the trilogy.
Anthony Hopkins is not always a win?!
HAL 9000 He's Anthony Hopkins. Yes he is.
He has done "Transformers - The last Knight" so....
Anthony Hopkins should damn well always be a win!
I'd give a win for his namedrop in a movie hes that much of is always a win!
Tobias Bracknagel It's not Anthony's fault that Transformers 5 sucked. He was one of the redeeming factors, at least.
Like Gaming Central said, even the greatest stars have done bad movies.
AH is still always a win!!!!
While I did enjoy this movie, the main thing that always bugged me is how it seemed like the crew was a little too afraid to show Nyah looking actually sickly, and not just tired, even though she infected herself with the same virus that made the first guy look downright terminal in the same amount of time.
14:02 Cruise missed the step and hit the other actor for real in the face, you can see the worried expression of Tom, but ended in the final movie because was badass. So, dedication to his work *Ding*
I remember this movie being the talk of the class when it came out back when I was in High School. Everyone was just gushing over it as a kick ass action movie, especially one of my classmates who was a huge John Woo fan. I really enjoyed it back then and I still like it because it has a style to it that is very unique to John Woo. It is on the bottom of the list when it comes to these Mission Impossible movies, but I would never skip it if I where to re-watch the whole series.
Im going to take my super duper earliness to beg that at some point you do RDJ Sherlock.
pleasePleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleas
Good calls. Enjoyable flicks. Wish there were more.
They recently announced a 3rd one is going to be made.
WHAT?!
SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!!!
When!?
Time for a trip to the google store to find out!
I'm pretty excited about it, I hope Ritchie is coming back!
Would be great if you did The Last Samurai, one of my favourite Cruise movies.
Saunderss25 true but infinity war first
rocco Infinity War isn't on home media, yet.
He has mentioned it a few times in other videos and I’m still waiting for it!!! The Last Samurai is truly a beautiful movie that gets stronger and stronger every time I watch it
yeah that would be great. its my favorite too
God that movie is just spectacular. Love it
I too like this movie. It has some of the best action scenes in the series. The last 30-40 minutes are an action lover's paradise.
Glad to see you accepted the mission, CinemaWins...
Honestly Limp Bizkits Mission Impossible song is so great
it is, as long as you keep the instrumental, and let Fred Durst go ruin music somewhere else...
One great thing about this movie: Best Tom Cruise's hair in all the franchise
Please do everything great about the Lord of the Rings trilogy!!!
Ya Boi GIBSON Seconded
Ya Boi GIBSON infinity war first bro
Ya Boi GIBSON 10 hour long videos
@rocco You do understand he won't be able to make that video until the dvd/blu ray is released in like 6 months right?
Ya Boi GIBSON oh well thanks for your comment but i just cant wait for it 🤣
I loved this movie as a kid but now that I’m older and really appreciate that Ethan very rarely even carries a gun and has to come up with more creative ways to subvert obstacles MI2 has slowly fallen down the list of my favorite MI movies.
"This mission, it just got a hell of a lot more impossibler." - Tom Crooze
6:55 By the way, that's William Mapother, Tom Cruise's cousin who was also Ethan in Lost.
Mission impossible 2 is one of my all time favorite movies!
Tom cruise is just freaking awesome and cool in this movie.
I'm from the future, at some point in the future you will do Treasure Planet. One of the greatest Disney movies ever.
I am sorry did you mean: Lilo and Stitch
Alistair Shaw no he meant Treasure planet, which is one of the greatest and my personal favourite Disney film.
Alistair Shaw I mean the film that helped me come to terms with being raised by a single mother so I'm a gonna say no. But Lilo and Stitch is a very close second because it helped my younger cousin come to terms with the same issue. And if Megamind taught me anything it's that persistence is key.
RGerrard12 I know. It was a Joke. Though Lilo and Stitch is great.
A. S. Ranu though megamind is dreamworks but yes great movie
Part of my issue is that Frozen tried to obliterate lilo& stitchs existence and its hacked me off ever since
HOLY CRAP! I totally did not see that Ulrich was Prison Break!
Even rewinding it and rewatching it I'm like... is that ... is it.... really?! WOW
Good eye wins!
I also didnt know this movie shit the bed that hard with critics and audiences. I also rather enjoyed it, though I *DID* feel the Woo'yness a bit too much a few times which caused eyes to roll pretty hard.
Have you ever considered doing The Prince of Egypt (I don't know what your policy is regarding biblical movies) or The Road to Eldorado? Those movies were fantastic and can match anything today!
Prince of Egypt was dope
James West road to eldorado is dope too.
They both were. I really hate that both have fallen by the wayside these days.
Prince of Egypt has such a phenomenal soundtrack. Probably one of the best animated soundtracks ever.
Mitlak3000 its pretty good
Damn but Tom Cruise looks good here.
Btw please do The Godfather.
Ryder Draconis Why? The Godfather is my favourite movie. It's brilliant.
PLEASE do everything great about *Gattaca* , that film needs way more attention
When I saw who was doing the music, I was like “Hans Zimmer! I thought he’d make something a little dark and gritty, but he made an awesome rock theme”
Theme was made by Limp Bizkit for this movie
an underrated movie!! true it isn't as amazing or entertaining as compared to the other movies in the franchise...
but on its own.. its pretty good!! the action was fun, twists and turns were good, acting was on point for majority of the time,
and sets up everything for the third pretty fairly, which imo is the darkest of the series (even tho fallout seems to soon take that place).
I'm happy I found a comment about this weeks movie and not just suggestions for more, but could you explain the "there's just no excuse"? I don't know why a win was taken off.
My hunch is that Metallica doesn’t fit into the theme of this movie?
damn its first time i noticed anthony hopkins and Thandie Newton worked together before westworld. i completly forgot that ah was in mi2
Because this mission is so different,I see it more as a new mission, but not a direct sequel.
I'm still waiting for Blade Runner 2049! Easily the best movie of 2017 it breaks my heart that it bombed in theatres. Needs some love
Thor Odinson I absolutely disagree
Good movie? Yes. A bit pretentious and bloated? Also yes.
I dont know, I would say there were better in 2017, and no I'm not talking about any movies involving fish fucking.
J Dubs C the only movie I would say might be better is "Lady Bird"
250million earnings is really not a bomb.
Tenebrousable if it earns less then what it cost to make then it qualifies as a bomb
We also have this movie to thank for Hugh Jackman being cast as Wolverine in the first X-Men film.
8:36 I love the thing about Tom Cruise laughing at himself. At the Opera House scene in Rogue Nation there's a moment where this guy grabs Ethan by the neck and he keeps growing and growing while Ethan gets smaller and people always made fun of TC's height. Christopher McQuarrie said Tom thought that was hilarious and that he's always game for laughing at himself.
One of the many reasons why Rogue Nation is the best Mission Impossible sequel
Seeing how people actually supported it before, it's time to start campaigning for:
Everything Great about LXG: League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Holy hell that would be a LONG title xD
Ugh, that movie was so SO bad compared to the original comic series.
The movie was schlock - it was a brainless popcorn flick, great to just turn on and let your body rest while being visually stimulated at the same time. If you watch it from that perspective, it's a fun film that gets a lot of negative criticisms because it wasn't a perfect adaptation of the source material.
Big spoiler - NO MOVIE adaptation is perfect. Next week's video will prove it, because DC comics made some amazing JL shows / animated movies, but it just flopped when it came to making it live action. Lots to work with, and they still fucked up.
You should have given a win for Limp Bizkit's "Take a look around" playing in the credits.
Pretty sure he removed a win for that
Please do Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
Edit: Archer is always a win
My two favorite scenes:
Muted gun battle at Bio-Cite once the explosion finally goes off, and Ambrose slowly realizing he killed the wrong Ethan complete w/ choral harmonies.
I'm still amazed that Woo restrained himself for this one. My buddy and I watched this and we realized there's only two real "gunfights" in the whole thing. The lab, and then the final chase/beach beat down. Considering how balls-to-the-wall Woo usually is, this movie felt like he held back a lot.
Please do Everything Great About Treasure Planet. Like John Carter, that's another Disney movie that was really great but bombed spectacularly at the box office.
Anyone agree/disagree?
Treasure Planet gets a lot of hate thrown its way - not by me, though. Right up there with Titan A.E. in terms of a great way to introduce more fantastical elements to a beloved story. Plus, that opening scene with Jim on the solar sail board... shivers every time.
TL;DR Please do Treasure Planet.
Yes, do Treasure Planet!
I do get a different vibe from that movie compared to many other Disney movies even though I can't put my finger on it but it's and absolutely amazing movie. The animation is gorgeous, the story is captivating and the characters are really endearing.
I started listening more carefully to the scores and sound design in movies because of this channel, and it greatly improved my cinema and movie watching experience! Thanks!
I just love your videos man! I get so sad when you do a movie I haven't watched so I have to wait another week for the next video. In a world where everyone loves to hate on everything and just acknowledge or focus on the bad stuff it's very nice to see someone focusing on the good, even if I don't always agree with it. Thanks for your hard work and dedication, it really lights up my boring moments, please keep it up for ever ;)
I absolutely love this movie possibly even more than the first one. It was my first introduction to John Woo's style and I've been a fan ever since. Its crazy, over the top, and kind of dumb in spots but it is just so much fun. The movie does not take itself seriously at all.
I'm surprised that you did not mention the fact that Dougray Scott was the man who almost became Wolverine. He was actually signed to play
Logan but a schedule conflict on Mission Impossible 2 and a motorcycle injury forced him to leave the movie.
I love that this film take place in Australia. A Hollywood film showcasing my hometown is always a win.
at 14:45 did you SIN limp bizkit? im not sure what happened there. i know you didn't sin metallica.
Better not have sinned Metallica.
I love these. Could you do the Iron Giant? Thanks, keep up the good work!
My personal favorite mission impossible Im pleasantly surprise to see this on your channel that face maker switch towards the end blew me away when I first saw it
So underrated! As action movies go, easily in my all-time top-10 - and Woo's best after Face/Off, of course.
I love this channel. You did Bourne identity. Can u pls do all the other Bourne movies?
Could you cover the Dollars Trilogy?
Do you want a 10-hour video?
Would suffer 10 hour review for Clint Eastwood spaghetti western feet with ernio malcone's music in the background
B O I
Wait a minute is that Val from Star Wars Episode 3.9 - Solo and Westworld as Nya Thandie Newton awesome times 3.
This was my first Mission Impossible movie I saw, and I think it is still my favorite M:I movie. I just really enjoy it, not as confusing or difficult to understand as the first and more enjoyable then the subsequent movies, keeping the tone lighter and not taking itself so seriously.
I really like this movie. Great job!
Love love your commentary. Was hoping you'd say something about that"John Woo" spin he did in the lab!
Is it posable if you can do an 'Everything GREAT About' some of Hayao Miyazaki movies like 'Spirited Away' or 'Howl's Moving Castle' or 'Ponyo' or 'My Neighbor Totoro'. I'll stop now but you get my point can you please do movies directed by Hayao Miyazaki?
Please and thank you.
Unfortunately, Studio Ghibli are one of the most notorious copywrite strikers
Do Mulan or the Prince of Egypt
Please do Everything Great with The Mist, I’d really like to see your take on it. Big fan of the channel by the way, haha, keep up the awesome work.
Why do I love this channel so much? Probably because this is the only channel to make a Star Trek V: The Final Frontier reference in a Mission Impossible video. You're the best my guy, keep it up. (Pls do Interstellar one day)
DO ARRIVAL!!!!!!
YESSSS
Do Blade Runner 2049!
(Edit: I'm pretty sure next week is Justice League, so could you also do the Snyder Cut if it ever comes out?)
Joey Pethan Yes! Best movie of the decade IMHO
Joey Pethan The Snyder Cut would have to exist first.
It probably does exist
Joey Pethan not I'd doesn't, he was fired before the film was finished
James Feguson dude, people who worked on the movie with Snyder have said that it does. Also, Jim Lee said he wasn't fired, so we don't know for sure.
Also, Richard Roxburgh(sp?) is always a win. He made a henchman feel like a fleshed out primary character
Lol at that win reduction for Limp Biskit
Say what you will about Tom Cruise and his religious beliefs....the guy is a beast when it comes to performing his own stunts and heck of an actor.....how many actors do we know that stays relevant for over 30 years
Please do Everything GREAT About: Halloween (1978)!
Patrick infinity war first dude
rocco he can’t do Infinity War yet
Bruh I love mission Impossible 2, though nothing can top the CIA vault break in of MI 1 the biocyte shootout, the storage facility infiltration and fight, the motorcycle chase, and the final hand to hand combat with the final boss are sick action set pieces that hype me up every time. Then if you watch the behind the scenes of all the work the actors put into it, it makes you appreciate it even more.
Great vid, i was not really looking forward to this week but you have shown me the great things that gets forgotten thanks to general peoples opinion
Can you PLEASE do Cloud Atlas!! Its such a brilliant film. If you haven't seen it, WATCH IT!!!!!!
Can't stand the Wachowski BROTHERS in real life, but they have made some phenomenal movies over the years. Cloud Atlas and V for Vendetta are two underrated gems waiting on Netflix.
Speed Racer!!
endless172 - Go Speed Racer Go!!
New to your channel lately. Loving everything you do.
No retreat no surrender is a freaking classic!
6:08 Perfectly sums up Jameson in the Spider Man movies.
Wait he actually climbed the rocks without no safety??
other than 1 single safety rope, no. no nets, no harnesses, no double wiring, no green screen at all. just a man, a rope, some white powder, and lots of rocks.
@@WhippleNut chalk not just white powder
@@migueldoradoyt ty, sorry I couldn't remember what it was called when I wrote that comment.
@Edmond Dantez I fully admit that it sounds more fanboyish looking back on it now, but i'll be honest in saying that I didn't know the usual tools that rock climbers use to go climbing, so that's on my bad.
I just like looking into how people to movie stunts and cgi since they're in my line of work, so it's just fun to dig into stuff is all.
i'll have to learn more about professional rock climbing someday, it always seemed kind of fun to do.
Next week is Black Panther
Captain Michael J. Caboose not necessarily.
David Ray What do you mean?
No...
jax rammus Oh, I thought it was Black Panther. And this is why Tucker thinks I’m an idiot
Captain Michael J. Caboose No... That would be Church, your best friend.
Next month Cinemawins, can you do EGA on Ocean's Eleven (2001), The Incredibles, Jurassic Park (25th anniversary), The Fugitive (25th anniversary) & Mrs. Doubtfire (25th anniversary), please? Your channel is one of my all time favorites!!!
Seeing you upload always puts such a smile on my face, I love your energy and positivity so much. I'm gonna go make some tea to drink while I watch this
Everything Great about The Incredibles before Incredibles 2 comes out
Wait, people hate this movie? This has always been one of my favourites.
The hour long repetitive action scenes, slow mo's, and utterly pointless romance (although that's an issue with hundreds of movies so...)
It's not rubbish but plenty could be removed just to make it less boring.
@@borneoorangutan I saw it again recently, and I definitely see the problems now lol. The editing is so weird and a lot of the things that I thought were awesome as a kid are still fun but can come across as really silly.
Last Samurai please. It's a criminally underrated movie with very few reviews. Love your content man! Seriously look forward to your videos whenever they come out (even if I haven't actually watched some of em)
14:46. Sorry, but Limp Bizkit (and Metallica's "I dissapear, got played in the Credits, too) ROCKS!
Pretty pretty please do Dragon heart! It's an awesome film with all the wins and yups!!
Justice league! Finally!!
Loved this. I’ve never related to the overall complaints.
Bad ass.
Great job as always :) Looking forward to the rest of the MI series!
Being that this is a difficult movie to be so positive about, it still deserves credit where it's due... which in this case would be lots of over-the-top slowmo action sequences.
And pigeons.
Probably not going to Win the pigeons.
Next week is Justice League... kill me.
You guys are the best!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Please do:
1) The Circle
2) The Huntsmen Winters War
3) Kung fu panda 1 and 3
4) Murder on the Orient Express
5) Strange Magic
6) Shrek 1,2,3,4
7) Brave
8) The Princess Bride
9) Jack Recaher never go back
10) HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2!!!!!!!!!
Oh please do The Last Samurai. One of the most amazing movies Ive ever seen. And it really shows Tom Cruise's range. Plus an amazing cast, and Ken Watanabe is always a win
Dougray Scott played the best villain of the M:I franchise to date. There was palpable hatred between him and Ethan Hunt. It was all in his eyes. I was so disappointed he didn't do more in his career.
Same. I wish Dougray Scott had the chance to play Wolverine and just generally be in way more movies. Underrated actor.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Can you do Aliens Vs Predator. Thank you!
I love how i never think about Notorious while watching this movie. It works that well at sucking me in and involving me in the story and the action.
I absolutely LOVE this Channel!!! You're a breath of amazing fresh air in this world of blegh
Can you do Aeon Flux?
Can you do tangled
This will always be my favoring MI movie. So happy to see that you enjoyed it, too!
The Ike-ike song is the opening song in rain-man also. Just an FYI. Played when the cars are unloaded at the dock.
Can we just agree that John Woo’s best movie he made in America is Face/Off?
Captain Michael J. Caboose Agreed!
ADel X Yay
I think his most accurate American film is hard target, it just feels like one of his HK films
Please do War of the worlds 2005
This was the 1st Mission Impossible I saw in theater, and was my favorite until Rogue Nation, LOVE this movie.
I’d love if you could do a video on The Impossible, it’s my all-time favorite movie, and the acting is fantastic!
We're waiting for Revengers endless tussle
The long hair is leftover from magnolia
Love this movie probably my favorite of the mission impossible's and that fight scene with the villain at the very end one on one was just Epic
I'm so happy there's a little love for this film, its honestly my favourite in the series :D
Do Everything Great About John Carter please. It's incredibly underrated, I loved it though. Didn't deserve to bomb.
Anyone agree/disagree?
I actually liked Mission Impossible 2
Me too
lance Yay
i did too, but honestly mostly because i had so much fun watching it? Like the odd music choices and the freaking doves had me laughing out loud and you know what? thats still enjoyment
people hate? what? this movie was epic imo.
Are we not going to mention that the Kick at 16:35 was a real kick, and Tom Cruise actually kicked Dougray Scott in the face (by accident)??!? Talk about (over) commitment.
Also Dmitri is the name they get at the beginning of the first movie!
That last reveal would have been beautiful if the masks were used a little less
This is the only MI movie I've seen in the theater so it will always have a special place in my fandom. And I'm a big Thandie Newton fan so this is usually my go to choice for this franchise. Thanks for highlighting its fun-ness.
