C'mon! OF COURSE he wasn't justified in kicking the guy in the face! From the fact that he tried to pick up the paddle, it looks like he didn't even mean to knock the paddle out of the guy's hand, but even if he did, a kick in the face is WAY over the top. And bananas are supposed to be mostly speckled black. Americans are just used to eating unripe bananas because the stores get them when they are a week or more away from being ripe and usually just go from green to mushy gray- black without ever getting to optimal ripeness.
Youre missinf the essence of the argument from @pickleballer1729 here, which is absolutely critical. Ideally, a banana should be speckled brown while still on the tree, this is when they are ripe. However, they are removed from the tree early so that they do not spoil during international shipping to american grocery stores. Please educate yourself in the future before making such offensive judgments on speckled bananas everywhere, thanks.@@sorrynotsorrypickleball
Hey Chris, love your show, always look forward to it. About the opening part and the kick, it’s really not funny at all. That’s violence, that’s an assault. And the guy was really injured. Given the sequence of events, there’s absolutely no way that was justified by any stretch.
Anna Bright looks happy playing with Dylan. I’ve never seen Anna with such a cute smile. If Ref can call ball abuse they should call self abuse (or paddle abuse)!!
The kick situation was clearly a misunderstanding one guy was hype, one guy was salty, I think he accidentally slapped the paddle out of his hands, and the guy took it as aggression and got pissed after a bad loss and returned it. He obviously shouldn’t of kicked him, but anger can really carry you into bad spots. Both opposing energies just crossed in a bad moment.
You always see an opportunity to bag Collin Johns, and by the way it’s funny, but do hear from him or representatives asking to ease off? I hope so! Then, you pile on more 🤪!
Sorry but it was a really bad look to watch that assault and be laughing as much as you did. Then you ask the question, did he deserve that? We just watched someone get kicked in the face and knocked out. It's not funny and if he deserved it is a question that should not even be asked.
@@sorrynotsorrypickleball Yea you got me, I was knee'd in the face when I was a child. I guess watching people get assaulted is a bit less funny after that.
9:09 roflmfao people are always giving praise for lucky mishit resets that literally pop up high enough to be construed as a lob which the opponent misjudges but it barely lands in bounds. It's almost as bad as when people unironically say "wow nice shot!" after net-cord dribble-over winners, as if that's what the person was trying to do.
just watched it again, lol the player literally put up his hands to gesture "i'm sorry, that was dumb luck" after. So yeah, "how did he do that?!" is uncalled for haha.
just realized you yourself called it a "lucky shot", so I guess I didn't catch the initial sarcasm? I won't delete the comment because this happens all the time in real life and it bugs the shit out of me haha.
Algo fuel. No one should get assaulted for being a bad winner. The paddle tap was excessive, but there was immediate regret shown by the attempt to pick up the paddle, feel bad for both guys honestly, but BS said it best, "impulse control issue" but i feel thats on both side not just the dude that reacted with a knockout headkick
The Kawamotos would've won if Anna and Rachel didn't take that bullshit "medical" timeout... Rachel knew she couldn't win so she had to ice them out. Kawamotos the better team overall.
@@sorrynotsorrypickleball from all the matches I’ll watch AB loud and obnoxious. Just like this latest match with komwato sister. You should watch single she did. Cussing and yelling at herself. Hard to watch
The kick in the beginning was unnecessary dawg, dude looked like he knocked the paddle out by accident. I don't care if someone is being loud, that's them being locked in and ain't mad about it and if someone knocked my paddle out my hand I would talk with them and make them pick up my paddle and make them apologize but if someone kicked one of my homies or wants to catch a fade? then let's catch a fade son
That "C'mon in pickleball needs to be stopped" Hopefully that kick will send a message to everybody using "C'mon". I'll start practicing my kick for my area now.
one of the funniest comments i saw, "Wow first he knocks the paddle out of guy's hand, and then assaults the mans foot with his face!" LOL
LMAO

I’m with you - not justified to kick.
Not with you - brown bananas are gross

Streamed this and Nationals at the same time. Could be the new norm in tournaments. Ban that kicker!!
I didn’t even bother with nationals
I don’t have QVC
that highlight real from nelson is amazing. ive always wanted him to come back.
Same!
If you get back an Ernie, call that shot a Returny

I agree Julian brings entertainment to the game, great for the game
Yeah it makes it more exciting if you like him, and even more exciting if you don’t

Also Kate Fahey and Anna Bright are HORRIBLE representation of pickleball.... what's sportsmanship? Don't ask them!
Where were BJ and AL in this tournament?

Do you play pickleball too?

What’s funny to me is the absurdity of the situation. The guy went 0-100, I was not expected a KO kick.
CJs backhand counter winner at 10:48 was going over 45 mph. That is just stupid.
