    I'm taking probiotics(lactobacillus and acidophilus)
    Chicken broth
    Collagen
    L glutamine and colostrum. Watch my diet, no breads for many days and I'm getting slowly better. Also did leafy vegetables and kefir and no sugar or wheats(gluten)

      Sounds like you are doing a good job. With regard to the probiotics I believe it would be better to use fermented veggies, Kefir or the like to create diversity. Plus many probiotics are not produced in a way to survive the acid environment of the stomach.

      I'm wanting to drink Kefir so badly, but I have SIBO & IMO and read that whatever probiotics are in Kefir, would make things worse. Same goes for Kombucha, I read. I don't know. All I know is life was great until it got flipped upside down and on its ear. I developed Peptic ulcers, gastritis, SIBO & IMO what felt like overnight and amazingly sick but went undiagnosed for an astonishing amount of time and my stomach has never been right and I get sick all the time and I know when I'm about to get sick bc I get this stinging redness on my cheeks. I've also developed something called hashimotos Thyroiditis that has now led into actual hypothyroidism and also Grade 4 gastroparesise. I want to know what happened. I did not have all of these rashes and thyroid issues and aches and depression UNTIL I was diagnosed with H Pylori / ulcers. I have so many things going on where one probiotic is good for this but can make that bad. One food is good for this but can make that bad. I'm boxed in everywhere and I have terrible insurance so unless I win the lottery....
      And I'm only 24. *sigh* Sorry for the rant! Thank you for the video!

    Top things you can do
    exercise
    make your own applesauce with the skin on - eat one tablespoon a day
    bone broth - one cup day colostrum
    probiotics diversity is most important - eat 1 tablespoon fermented veggies a day
    prebiotics - sweet potatoes, roasted root veg
    polyphenols - green tea, dark chocolate, red wine

      Update: Ok, I will mention one: chocolate. It's very high in oxalates.
      Also, meat broth is preferable to bone broth bc bone broth is high in histamines, which can cause a problem, whereas meaty broth is low in histamine and also easier and faster to make! (You use raw bones with meat still on them (chicken legs, wings; turkey wings & necks; lamb shanks, beef short ribs, etc.and chicken feet. Then cook for 1-1/2 hr for poultry, 1 hr for whole fish; 3-4 hrs for red meat; or even less time in a pressure cooker.

      These are general guidelines. There are multiple ways to have a leaky gut. This covers many. Testing is the only valid way to know what is wrong and if you have corrected it. Bone broth is what you are looking for. Kettle and Fire is a good brand. With regard to doing everything or just some. Each of those nuggets were to handle different aspects of different ways a person can have a leaky gut. Without knowing your situation I would say do all of them and do it for 6 months.

    • @activelifestylemedicalva9080

      There is limiting evidence supporting that Silica could help with a leaky gut. That said Silica is helpful as a component for connective tissue support but a increased Intestinal permeability is more than a connective tissue problem. It has to do with the tight junctions the cells themselves and the components of the mircrobiome.

      Yes

    • @cherylh4688
      @cherylh4688 Рік тому +1

      That's exactly what it does do, Roma, altho' sensitivities to chemicals like perfumes, etc, are more of an aftereffect due to the constant stress on the body from the undiscovered food sensitivities.
      What happens is simply that as the various food substances leak, they end up in the blood stream, where the immune system thinks they are foreign invaders and creates antibodies against them. And the stronger your immune system is, the more effectively it will do this.
      Also, when testing for sensitivities, it's good to look first at anything you eat frequently (except animal proteins), bc those foods will have the greatest likelihood of having leaked at some point.
      AND any foods you crave and especially that you think you can't live without are very likely to be the worst offenders, bc there is a stage of food sensitivity which looks a lot like addiction. And it's usually the foods we became sensitive to earliest, when our bodies could still mask their effects.
      So to test, I would eliminate a suspect food in all its forms & quantities for at least 5 days but not more than 10, and then reintroduce it. If you are sensitive to it, you will have a greatly heightened reaction bc during that time, you will still have an abundance of the antibodies circulating, which will descend on it with a vengeance, lol. And so there should be no mistaking it if you are sensitive to it.

      The best test is by Vibrant labs. It is far a head of other labs. The test name is the Wheat Zoomer . It looks at antibodies to markers from the gut from damaged cells, endotoxins and a marker called Zonulin but for antibodies from it. Zonulin is a marker for the tight junctions between the cells in the gut. They open and close controlling what gets into the blood. When that marker goes up the gates are open for larger molecules to get in and cause an immune response.

    What I can do if I have histamine sensitivity because of leacky gut 😢what can I do. ?

    • @activelifestylemedicalva9080
      @activelifestylemedicalva9080  Місяць тому

      A person who has histamine intolerance is because they have multiple food sensitivities. Not unusual with leaky gut ass many type foods enter the blood stream and cause an immune response. A valuable tool would be to do a food sensitivity test and remove those foods for 3-6 months then reintroduce once you have healed the gut. You may have a reduced production of Diamine Oxidase from the small intestine which you can get supplements for. This is not addressing the cause but can assist you until resolving the issue with the gut

    • @activelifestylemedicalva9080

      No, you need to do the apple sauce as it elicits Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase which help soak up highly inflammatory Endotoxins from gram negative bacteria in your gut.

    Leaky gut comes from abbrasive food and over eating . Eat less super rough food and intermittent fast ( 4.5 to 6 hours between meals )

    • @cherylh4688
      @cherylh4688 Рік тому +1

      No it doesn't. In fact, "abrasive foods" was a regular part of the diet of prehistoric man, bc veggies and even fruits in those days were much more fibrous than the genetically modified versions we eat today. And I suspect they even ate parts of animal bones, as well, especially if nicely charred. And that's also very fibrous.
      So it might be wise to avoid fiber while healing an already damaged gut, but it's highly doubtful the fiber played any part in getting you that way. No, leaky gut - and a myriad of other gut troubles - come from any number of combinations of: excessive sugars, especially refined sugars; gluten and other lectins in plant foods; high-oxalate plant foods; refined seed oils; chemical-laden processed foods; grains; pasteurized dairy; antibiotics; pesticides; food sensitivities (and then causes more of them), and anything else toxic to the delicate systems of the body. The membrane lining the gut is actually only approx 1 cell thick, after all. So it doesn't take a lot of any of these things to weaken and eventually damage it, but it's much trickier to heal it again.

    • @activelifestylemedicalva9080
      @activelifestylemedicalva9080  Рік тому +18

      That is not true unless you have a poor digestive ability. HCL in the stomach when proper is very acidic and breaks food down to soup. The digestive enzymes that are produced by the pancreas breaks down the food to molecules. How abrasive are they?

      #1 - If you don't have a GI doc on the roster, visit your PCP. Have them order you the IGG IGA IGM Testing. It will tell you if you have Candida in your gut and if infection is ongoing and such. Basically just start there. What kind as well. If u do have a GI doc, the PCP will likely tell u to go there. Neither will know what they are doing and both will try to divert your attention else's they don't have to do what you need. So be prepared when you go to the appt. You need a prescription medication first and foremost. I'd go with Diflucan. Other things hurt than stomach with leak gut i get depression, painful/weak muscles, brain fog, wired but tired. Basically I have insomnia where I am anxious. I get white on my tongue sometimes and I get some foam in my poop at certain stages. I got my leaky gut from all of the antibiotics I took for the stubborn H. Pylori. Then sibo and imo. I never knew about yeast in ur stomach until I was told by my doctor.

      That is correct. You would make your own. Cut up the apple with the skin on in a little water and cook it until the skin is shiny. You can add cinnamon to it for flavor. This elicits a substance called Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase which helps bind endotoxins and reduce inflammation. A tablespoon a day.

    • @activelifestylemedicalva9080
      @activelifestylemedicalva9080  Рік тому +1

      Leaky gut can be improved with the use of L Glutamine as it is the most abundant amino acid needed for the Gut. The only thing is that you need to find the source of why it is happening. A lot of the comments I see project the reasons but everyone is different. Only 1 in 8 people even have a gut symptom yet have a leaky gut. Triphala will not hurt but again it is a bandaid until the source is found. Many of the cases that I have treated have a low Akkermansia Muciniphila bacterial count. That is an anaerobic bacteria that is extremely important for the gut lining. This can be found pendulumlife.com/discount/DRARNDT. This is the only place you can find it as it will die in an oxygen environment. I hope this helps.
