This came out sooo gorgeous on you!!! So I tried tape ins and I loved the versatility but I had the same problem with consistently touching up my hair because I work out as well…(I actually used a claw clip to keep my hair up and that worked quite well keeping my hair hair from frizzing so much. And trying to wash and style them was a big hassle so, I’ve been thinking about doing a hybrid of a sew in in the back and tapes in the front with leave out in the perimeter so I can do all my styles. I think that’s the best option for people with type 4 hair who still want the versatility of tape ins without the maintenance of your full head being out
It’s a good style for a special occasion. Not for everyday wear, unless you get hair that matches your texture(which honestly you should no matter the style)
Thank you thank you for being so truthful about your install you look beautiful and they look amazing but thank you for that a lot of people don't give as much insight as you did and explain it the way that you did and I really appreciate that.
I'm just glad to see someone shampoo the extensions first. For the life of me I do not understand why people want to throw hair on their heads without washing it first; you don't know what that hair has been through before it was delivered. Come on people, it's just plain sanitary.
Just followed your channel . I also suffered from really dry scalp it would literally become like concrete. However , I change my method of how I did my hair care routine . First get rid of grease . Grease blocks the natural sebums of your hair , therefore your scalp becomes dependent on you create the oils instead of doing it naturally . Secondly lco/loc every other day and shampoo weekly. Whenever you have braids /weaves etc use a spray bottle and spritz the roots therefore it can maintain moisture , and Ofcourse oil scalp and creams simply massage into the hair. I have done this constantly baby the way my scalp has changed it’s amazing. I can now literally go a couple weeks without washing and not or barely any dandruff in site. A really good shampoo to use also is selsun blue to assist tackling with the dandruff until you get it fully under control.
If you have a dry scalp, oils and greases will only exacerbate the problem. The answer could be shampooing more often if it’s simply dry scalp, but if it’s chronic dandruff a medicated shampoo from a dermatologist could also be the answer.
yes and for those of us with natural hair who don’t wash daily, find a derm who specializes in our hair to give you a shampoo or treatment mixed with oils that can hydrate.
Are you a model? Gorgeous results! I also like the editing and format of this video. I don't think I will try this on my 4c tho. It reverts and is more fragile than people think. Also I have the scalp problem. I use Jamaican black castor oil. I think it's seborrheic dermatitis but I never saw a Dr about it.TFS!
Gosh you're so pretty. You're rocking them, but everything looks good on you lol I'm about to re-install mine, my hair is texlaxed - relaxed (it's not bone straight, noticeable curls but not too much)... I def found usualing a kinky straight then flat ironing it helped so much. But also in the dryest portion of my hair (my crown) I'll use a row of microlinks instead so I can oil that portion regularly. The combination of both works for my gym routine (I work out 7 days a week).
As I Am: Dandruff collection has helped me tremendously with my dry scalp! I started using it a year ago and barely have flare ups anymore. I recommend using it once a week for a month first. Hopefully this info helps someone
Hey boo my sister had the same issue it was bad but. I recommended that she go see a dr because treatments we’ve tried everything nothing worked so she finally listened they prescribed her a shampoo and she use it for 2months even tho it cleared up within the first month she still uses it so maybe that’s something you could consider it changed her life even with my clients because somethings as stylist we can’t control need a extra step ❤️❤️ love ya hope it helps 💐💐💐
For the dry scalp after going to dermatologist i was told it was scalp psoriasis not regular dandruff i use tgel shampoo and the medicated oils from dermatologist
Love you look! Would, definitely try tape ins, but did you have any hair loss during take downs? Also Aloe Vera Growth Drops by The Beauty of Rashida is so soothing and cooling on your scalp and its oil free.
Black women don’t have time to shampoo their hair every day, it takes me 3 hours lol. And fyi nobody is meant to shampoo everyday it strips your hair of it’s natural oils and it becomes dry and brittle which then causes breakage🫠😂
@@ClassyGyal yes that’s why I said daily… yes as I learned in cosmetology school u supposed to keep ur scalp daily shampoo and condition but u actually right it’s best for black people to wash their hair once a week
( As I Am )Dandruff shampoo is the only thing I have tried in my 33 years of life that has actually worked. I use olaplaex for conditioner. And I am finally dandruff free, it’s wonderful.

This so smart I’m definitely gonna try this natural but secure 👏👏

Yes. I think im going to get some tape ins.. but in my curly hair.. then silk my whole head straight, but when i wash i want it all curly.
What about if you relax your hair?
@@minapalomez8839 it’s a good style if you’re relaxed

Does the tape disintegrate and look invisible? It just looks very visible during the application

Love your hair ! Does Bella work in NY?
Thanks love, she’s based in Philly
What’s the shop name? Can’t seem to find on instagram
how much did you spend on all of it?
You should try a Brazilian/Keratin blow dry on your natural hair then proceed to get the tape in 🤍
Keratin treatments are not for 4c hair. It will ruin your hair.
How longs do tape ins last compared to micro links?
You supposed to daily shampoo ur scalp but once or twice a week is still good

Try yellow Listerine diluted with water on your scalp. I don’t know how it works (learned on YT) but I swear by it lol
Gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Get Kinky Straight hair next time!
Not gonna lie o agree the tape in are cute but it’s to much work and they come out all the time
Tapes ins are just not for me I will stick to my wigs
