The top 12 guys have the speed to win. The top 8 can win with a hole-shot and 29 consistent laps that the to 8 can do. If any of the top 8, (includes Malcolm), gets the hole-shot and can gap the pack by 4 seconds in the first 4 laps,---might as well turn your TV off. He won, sans a pretty big mistake. Hey, mistakes can happen to anybody, in 29 laps. They must be getting board. Malcolm can win. I think he has gained the .2 seconds a lap this year.
The skill of these guys to run the pace they do lap after lap on these gnarly tracks blows my mind.

A buddy of mine has a new VW car with a little sub 2.0 liter engine, (but turbo charged), and in "sport mode", (a switch on the dash for performance), a speaker system kicks in sounding like a race car, inside the car and out too I think. Maybe Yamaha is doing the same? lol MY buddy discovered it when the speaker under the dash started buzzing. The world has gone mad I tell ya. mad! :)

Also in the main, (Indy 3), check out when Bam Bam put the "Bam Bam Block Pass", (didn't work), on Roczen early in the race. After Barcia performed a perfectly good "T-Bone, Roczen was pretty much at a dead stop on the top of the first jump out of the corner. He was back up to speed in that rhythm section in one leap from a dead stop.
Corner speed still wins races, but you don't need it anymore to clear a rhythm section.

Trying to tell if he shifts once or twice. Rumor is Most of the factory 450s are 3speeds. But if you geared it right. I could totally see just two speeds for a supercross track. What are we up to now. 65-68hp. Good heavens. Pretty sure it’s a 3 speed.

No it just looks rough because of the gopro and plus it is the last moto of the night so it is going to be rougher.

Malcolm man: You have it backwards. You should be racing outdoors and not SX. In SX, everybody is the same speed on those 95% redundant FIM tracks. Outdoors, you can still win.
