This couldn't be more timely Dean. I'm going to be installing (just arrived yesterday) a D5.1300 into my wife's Mazda 3. It is replacing an Alpine MRV-F307 and Alpine MRP-M500. The F307 is running 4 channels and the M500 the 10" JL Audio sub in their wedge.
I am running Rockford fosgate Amp 4chx500W to my 2020 Hyundai Elantra. Do you think I can add 400W amp for the new subwoofer? Can my car handle this power? Thanks

I’m Also working on a 3D design to make a custom speaker enclose for the 8”subwoofer location in the Honda Accord, as I plan to upgrade sub but want to maintain the trunk space... my design in a 2piece L shaped circular tube that can be installed in the 8inch subwoofer speaker location
