Here in the near future, I'm going to be joining the Air Force and I have been working on getting a consistent irritation free clean shave. Before I found your videos, I was using cartridge Harry's razors. Now, I have been using my manscaped DE safety razor with blades you can pick up from walmart for a start. I won't go back to cartridge razors ever again as those would always give me bad irritation. Just ordered the Muhle R89, widestick alum and feather hi blades. Can't wait for my new tools to try and get a really nice shave! Thanks for everything you do Geo, you for sure have helped me a lot!
I have the Satin Chrome version of this. I enjoy using it. I set it at maximum aggression on the first pass. 4 on the second and 3 on the final. My neck is really tough to cut but this is doing a pretty good job with buffing and pickups. I have used Shark blades. Personna comfort cut and Astra. So far Sharks have done the best. I'm going to try Nacet Gillette blades next, then Permasharp. Trying to find the optimum blade.

I had the same thoughts about this razor when someone else was showing it. Why they didn’t paint the numbers black is beyond me. It can’t be that difficult/costly. Also, they should make the dot red.

Great work as always geo footage quality looks really good. Does more aggressive mean potentially more irritation if you have sensitive skin? Or is it like you said and more efficient if that makes sense?
Hey GEO, greetings & love from india 🇮🇳 love ur work and videos, been following u for quite sometime & like u,I also love the Parker razors, if I may provide some info the variant both versions can be cranked beyond 5 to say a safe useable setting till 8/9 I.E setting 3 till 3.5 going ahead of setting 5. I’ve tried it without any issues, kindly give it a try. & share ur feedback as not many know about it & if am wrong pls correct me,also have shared the same feedback of painting the numbers with Parker hope it comes soon in the future batch Cheers & Happy shaving 🤗

A different shave channel said. The open comb model was less harsh, with less blade feel than the closed comb model. I find that hard to believe. From my experience every open comb I have is more aggressive, than my closed comb razors of equal blade gap..I'm also aware everyone's shave is unique to their individual variables..

Yea same to Germany 😢. I think a little while back I paid over US$70 for 2 wide alum blocks... After shipping, tax and custom. I think he should open up another shop in Australia and Germany 😅
I'm kinda divided on this. I like the design of the open comb Variant better than the closed comb one, but open comb has never worked out for me. Too aggressive. Currently using the 97R and I love it. F *** Arko though. Its got tallow in it. Can't condone animal cruelty. F *** Arko upside down , if y'ask me. Thanks Geo, very useful review, as always.

I prefer this type of design over the merkur futur, the parker looks like it would have better grip overall.
