R1SE's contract ends in June 2021 and will not be renewed. Whoever wins Chuang 2021 will take R1SE's place and sign the new 2 year contract. Even if Kazuma were to debut in the Final team, he would ultimately be forced to decide between continuing Harvard or going all-in the team for 2 years.

Ohh Kaz, I feel like he was so underrated as a singer on this show. There's a lot of attention on him being in Harvard. But in my opinion, his vocal is top tier, one of the best on the show. He deserves the same level of attention on his vocal abilities as Mika has received. Just keep singing dude.
He probably lost a lot of weight bc he wasn't used to the food. The trainings also lasted 7-8 hours a day for 3 months(the duration so far according to LeLush in another interview). Most of the contestants lost a of weight. Mika and Caelan also looks a lot thinner. Zhang Xingte's cheeks looks hollowed out compared to his first apprearance. AK's face is visibly less round as before. Everyone's thinner compared to their packing vlogs.
It’s really unlikely the problem of the food. It’s an open secret that the production team staffs would keep reminding them slimmer build would make them look better in front of camera (in a brainwash kinda way), so they naturally don’t want to eat to look good. And being on diet becomes really bad competition among many trainees. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
yeah,i also noticed that... all trainies talks about how staff always reminding them to watch there weight,and i think most of the trainies lost a lot of it..

tbh i think it was a cover up. If you looked at the rankings, 5 of them were from avex, and were foreigners. As much as the show wants to make an international group, they probably don't want that many foreigners, and if all 3 of the boys from intersection debut, then there will only be 1 member of the group left. A lot of trainees on shows seem to always put chasing their dreams first instead of family. Sometimes if the family supports the trainee, they will encourage them to stay. I think it was just an excuse to get him out of the competition since he's on break from school, and he still has the group. They won't manipulate results but will probably negotiate with companies to have a trainee leave, which is sad. It's so sad that they broke these brothers up, especially since he was doing so well.
As much as i do not believe in varieties shows from asia , in the least i think itcould be a blessing in disguise if he left early. 1) he is still studying harvard so i think its better off that he chose studies first before a not so stable career as a idol. 2) Theres a possibility that it could be covid related too, if thats the case, its best he go home for it 3) in the least we see form the vlog its not from issues with members thats for sure.
