Columbia is the small group but I enjoyed their song selection better, their intensity, the snare drummer was better, the cadence they played was better, Minor was cleaner when it comes to the horns.
Yeah I'm sure we all know that Tuba player was the high light for sure lol But I was feeling CHS more. Both bands did good but MHS needs a little more soul and for the size they need to crack up more... Yup!
Minor is fundamentally sound. A very clean sound. A band of their size should have a bigger sound though. Columbia was more interesting. Could use some cleaning up but overall a strong showing. Slight edge to Columbia.

Both bands did really well seeing as though it was many of these students first time matching up against other bands all year 👏🏾
