I knew these guys in the 80s better know as Texas Pride Jeff and Mickey were really talented- I miss Jeff's steel and fiddle playing so much and have a vinyl of Chance lp and a 45
Just like tguy321, I saw Texas Pride/Chance a bunch of times at DanceTownUSA and Bill Mraz Ballroom. I met my wife at DanceTown 22 years ago through a blind-date. Still very happily married. Just thought I'd throw that in. I still have a Jeff Chance cassette tape. Think I'll have a beer in the garage and listen to it. Cheers to Texas Pride/ The Jeff Chance Band.
thanks for your kind commments.... Yes, that is Jeff on the steel and the singing drummer is his brother Mickey...Jeff's real name was Jeff Barosh but after our record deal in the Mid 80's with an album under the name of "Chance" he adopted the stage name of Jeff "Chance". I plan to post more videos from this hour and a half collection of tunes in the near future so keep watching..... Thanks again and stay in touch, John Buckley Anderson
Wow -- I love this tune -- This band is awesome, That has to be a hard tune to cover. what a great job. Is that Jeff Chance playing Steel?? Thanks for sharing
Hi Irene, we appreciate you tuning in anyway... No one ever performs a cover as good as the original artist. We always really enjoyed playing this song though.... thanks again for checking us out.
