by negating mirrorjade with rindbrum you can dump an albion for cost and still have the mirrorjade effect for the opponents turn and a search at the end phase
All I am going to say is look at fusion arnament. Then think of its case use. When the ban list happens and they limit the branded fusion and the bvtials, there is a load of other things this deck can do. A hint, every beast, fiend, and illusion monster should be considered including exta deck. Age of overlord set is a huge boost to chimera if you ignore the branded stuff.
@@garciansmith1460 new illusion monster and TYphoon is conveniently a fiend monster. I let you figure out the rest. Along with the new fusion, there are a lot of potential there.
@@MattOsheaYGO It has so many uses in mainly chimera atm. The name of the OG chimera is really important. You can protect the entire coatl to mirror swordsman play if you fusion armament the OG chimera first and use the quick effect gy illusion effects to be immune to the hand trap interruptions. Also, a few other uses for fusion armament is that you can extend to magnum reliever with patchwork engine easily. You can tribute summon into the new beformat in case both copies of it are in the opening hand. Also OG chimera name cant be effect negated like the other chimeras who can be negated of the name. I do recommend a playset of fusion armament and 2 OG chimera fusions. Its going to real important especially when next banlist happens.
I mean...eh? It forces you to play a copy of Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast. Like, the old one. And you can only activate 1 copy of it unless you want to devote several ED slots to that dogshit. Which means all later copies are dead. And on its own its not really an extender. Honestly if they hit Branded Fusion, just run a copy of Aluber and 3 Branded Openings as copies 2 3 4 and 5 of Branded Fusion.
Best thing you can do is set Albaz and super poly. You can activate droll in your opponent’s turn, and when you opponent summons an extra deck monster/a key monster you believe they need, activate super poly, discarding Saronir to fuse away your opponent’s monster or monsters if you choose to fuse into regular super poly monster. Here you have a dump with Saronir, probably sending opening to give your newly summoned Albaz fusion Protection(if you summoned one in the first place).
Those are actually some decent plays. Only thing I'd recommend is showing plays that include a disruption against oneself. Chimera is quite strong but combining it with branded makes it very predictable. Maybe show people how to bait the hand traps? Knowing the combos is great but what do you do when mirror is negated or the fusions are negated? That's where I find people trying chimera branded are seeing failure.

yeah i dump titaniklad, special quem, dump albaz and then quem is live cuz you add two cards to hand with berfomet on their draw phase
Yup, just missed that in the test hand iirc. 😅 Pretty sure I showed it in the combos though
Sick combos
Great vid, i started playing this deck and this vid was very helpful, thanks
happy you enjoyed it! good luck with your matches!
I have a similar build. Given I only play locals, my side is different. I also have thrust, which adds a lot of potential.
yeah any time you can add thrust, you should! side decks are always going to vary too
@@MattOsheaYGO Yea they do. Given I only do locals, our sides are usually things we wanna try. We only have 2 guys that bother with ycs.
Good video!
Thanks!
Good vid. I do recommend putting your monsters in defense just in case you play the mirror and they otk you lol.
You're 100% right
@@MattOsheaYGO happened to me so I figured I’d share the knowledge since there are a lot of ppl on chimera right now.
Kinda crazy we live in a world where Branded Fusion can be used to bait ash blossom
How times have changed!
Nah. I use book of eclipse for ash bait
It avoids nibiru
And works with fusion summon
We still didn't get Berfomet The Phantom Beast Dark Ruler from the OCG yet and when we do Tri-birgade variants will pop up
Yeah the deck is just getting started! Will keep getting better with more illusions too

What boost does it bring other than the new Berfomet fusion?

Yeah fusion armament should be more expensive IMO and AGOV will be awesome for the deck

Yes, that's by far the best play. You still have 2 possible interruptions, via super poly, Saronir, droll.
Not even gonna lie, watching this to see if I agree. (I'm autistic and always post comments at the start. I'll edit so you can know my true opinion)
I'd be happy to hear any criticism
