Personally I love the longer videos. It's like having coffee with my friend. I am 66 and have never had any work, of any kind, done. I will say that I was blessed with a mom and grandmom that had great skin. However just within the last year I am feeling and seeing the changes in my face and skin. I am having the hardest time matching a foundation that is just the right tone and it is frustrating. My under eye bags...yuck. But I will never stop trying to make myself up the best that I can. Hair, makeup, jewelry, perfume everyday, to go nowhere😅

At 55 I've found the best way to remove cakiness from powder on the skin is Mac Fix plus, it is so hydrating and melts everything together
Okay so the comment about having ugly days really resonated with me. There are days, probably too many, when I look in the mirror and don’t like what I see. It’s not that I’m aging, it more just an unhappiness with my face. It goes away, but comes back now and again. Glad I’m not alone. This blog helped a lot.
Give it another five years and you'll really notice it, lol. I looked in the mirror and it's like it happened over night!! Seriously! 😂 I've been wearing foundation since I was 16 and can't imagine not wearing it. You look beautiful Nisha, we are our own worst critics! xx

I was cleaning a large mirror this morning, and got shocked at the way I looked. I'm aging at age 51. I immediately said, "oh my, gotta do the best with what I have". Isn't that the truth ladies. Our best years with the way we looked are over. This is a time of acceptance.

Nisha, I’ve been feeling just like this lately! I’ve bought more foundations in the past 6 months than I have in my entire life trying to find one that will look like any old foundation used to even 5 years ago! I turned 60 this past August so I’ll be 61 this summer and I don’t feel it at all but my God, my skin has changed soooo much in the past few years that I feel like I have to learn how to do makeup all over again. Aging is not for the faint of heart!

I am a hardcore sugar puff and fluff and I don't care for shorts either! Nisha you are not alone in how you feel some days with your makeup. I will have the same exact thing where I don't like how I look for days lol I have always said we are our own worst critic. I was just thinking the other day how you inspire me to try to look my best every day no matter how I feel... Because you always do, and even if no one sees me all day I do feel better about myself. I love cosmetics and beauty products and try to stay up to date on looks for women in their 60's. I have lots of days where I feel ugly, aging can be hard! I heard someone say "if we want to feel better about aging dont look at yourself so much!" I thought that was funny but probably true. Winter always gets me down but watching you helps. You are beautiful even without makeup and I enjoy your tips! So thank you! and Quit being so hard on yourself !💞
Hello from Canada. I stopped powdering my undereye concealer in my 40's because, no matter how high-end the product, it emphasized wrinkles (even talc-free powders but less so). 🤪 I started spraying a small amount of finishing/setting spray on a beauty sponge and lightly patting that on my concealer as a last step to hold it in place and stop it from gathering up in my lines. Works for me. You look gorgeous as always. Sandy (from hubby's account)

@@user-jl5lh9mq2b Right now, I am using Elf Makeup Mist and Set setting spray but I'm sure any setting spray would work. I only use a tiny bit on a beauty sponge and only tap it over areas where i've applied concealer (under eyes, around nose). I don't set my entire face with setting spray. Sandy

I do not use powder on my face ever and I am 62 now. I have tried but I look bloody awful when I put powder so just never got into it.
I just use foundation and that is that even concealer, but you always look pretty to me! Growing old is a horrible business. xx😀

@SugarPuffAndFluff As a professional makeup artist for many years, of course, as a woman all my life, I truly understand the completely natural (largely hormonal) 'challenges' you find yourself going through... I find that a lot of products are okay, but it's the fantastic hype surrounding them that disappoints us! There is nothing new going on, only with very small exceptions! Thank the Good Lord, or else we would all be as broke as our pocketbook allows! I watch you all the time, I have learned a lot of different things, especially regarding the UK or European vibes about fashion and decor. I find in cosmetics that the old time techniques are being revived, skin care products are all over the map; it's technology or organics! The issue of maturity or aging is difficult on all of us gals over 40. Personally, I am 65. My under eyes and pesky wrinkles around my mouth need HELP! I get you, Nisha! If it were not for those two things that give me away, I do look much younger than I am. You convinced me against fillers! Surgery is out of the question due to my post-cancer state of health! What's a gal to do? I have decided to INVEST in better skincare, foundation, and concealers. Instead of continually searching for drugstore priced lines, or as I call them, accessible price products, I think I spend just as much, if not more, if I do it that way! I want to try Chanel Sublimage, Chantecaille, Guerlain, Le Prarie, and Cle De Peau. I have an arsenL of products that for everyday, I guess okay. However, on camera ( photograhed at parties, weddings) going out datenight, etc. they always disappoint! I can only guess that having the aging 'telltales' create the need for superpower product. I just must find them.
I think you should do a look with the eyeshadow’s every day so you wouldn’t have to wash them off and your eyes wouldn’t get irritated. When it comes to adding powder I always spray a sponge with setting spray and it gets rid of the powder look. Thanks!😊

As I get older, I want lightweight foundation with medium to light coverage. I def don't want to look like I'm wearing foundation 💕💕
Me too! I switched to wet and wild tinted moisturizer! I love it very light coverage and you can’t even feel it’s on. It keeps my face moisturized and another trick I do is I put a layer of aloe vera on my face after washing let it sink in and dry, and it makes a beautiful primer.

I understand about feeling ugly…last week was a bad week for me…two different days I got up and took my meds and layed back down on the couch all day…didn’t bother with makeup. I always have ugly times, I can so relate to the way you feel! I’ve learned to keep it to myself bc if I say it out loud, then I get bombarded with compliments, which makes me feel very uncomfortable! So, I will give a heartfelt comment….you are stunning, I’ve always thought that! 😊☺️💞💞
I go through that too. Be it depression, anxiety. I call it the pity party. I'm so with you on this. Take care of yourself.
With the settling of under eyes, here is my trick. It doesn't .make the lines go away. It doesn't make them worse though. Take setting spray, spray a little in the palm of your hand. Take a little bit of it and pat it under your eye after concealer and then when dry, apply powder. It has really helped me!

You’re honestly one of the prettiest women I’ve seen and aging like fine wine. Honestly no one would notice the things you’re criticising yourself about, you only see those things because you examine yourself every day in the mirror and are harsh on yourself, like most people are. You are gorgeous.

Embrace your age, getting old can’t be stopped, you look amazing.
I have oily skin but I stopped powdering, it just seems no matter what powder I use, it settles in fine lines and creases and looks terrible. I use small amounts of concealer with a brush, that way I find my concealer travels less and I don't need to powder. I always enjoy you're longer videos, gives me time to sip my coffee 😉 Nisha, please remember that even without makeup you are beautiful because your inner beauty still shines through! A non-surgical blepharoplasty is what I had done at a medical spa by a surgeon where I live in Sicily. One year on, I'm still satisfied. Now I'm thinking about a neck lift. I'm 62.

@@leahvincerouse hi, no. It didn't hurt. The doctor will numb the area first. Cost was approximately $800 US. The actual procedure was under an hour for both eyes. I was able to drive home an hour away afterwards, although better to have someone else drive. I didn't go out in public for a week while healing. Took a minimum 3 months for eyelid color to normalize. Sunscreen a must on lids when out and about while healing. Feel free to ask any more questions : )

I love longer videos, hope you carry on making them. I’m 58 and recently struggling with foundations, they look great until I check in with a 10 x magnifying mirror. Anything advertised as long lasting or with a lot of alcohol isn’t good on me. My favourites are Delilah Time Frame and I love Erborian BB cream as they are more moisturising and don’t set into fine lines or pores. Yes you're right Nisha. It's very difficult to do the blending on our wrinkled eyelids. I always have more difficulty on my right eye than the left one because it's more droopy. Very frustrating.
Yes, I'm the same, my right eye can be a problem and I'll tell you something else. I don't think I'm imagining it, but on my right eye there are bits where the eyeshadow just won't go. It's crazy but I have small 'naked' bits when putting eyeshadow on, dusn't matter if I put it on thick, it still stays naked lol 😂
I find as I age "less is more". Ageing is not for the faint hearted but the alternative is final. As a mature women I want to be an example to my daughter that beauty is not just about our appearance. Life is too short to be constantly judging ourselves in the mirror. Live, love and laugh. 😂❤

The aging process is so hard. I totally understand how you feel. My skin is super dry so using power is so so hard. It seems to make everything worse. For me I use the smallest amount of powder then I use a setting spray and sort of mash that in with a damp sponge. That seems to help. Of course I can’t use a setting spray that has any alcohol. So that is an issue too! I’m sure you are your worst critic, we normally are. You are gorgeous and I hope you feel that way soon!
I think I have spent the whole winter, looking at myself as little as possible, and when I do thinking. “my god who is that old lady staring back at me. Lol. Aging is not for the meek. Let me tell you. But I always tell myself it’s better than the alternative.. I have to admit, I like a heavy foundation even though at my age I’m not supposed to. I think of the light foundations that I would put on and think what’s the point? I want to cover up things . I had been thinking about that pallet, so I’m glad I watched this first because it saved me some money. you always look so gorgeous. Sending you a lot of love.
You could do day looks from each palette (sigma) and evening looks from each palette. Film the looks each day (looks you could keep on each day) then combine the videos as you want to show us without having to put on and take off in the same day. You do what is best, I love watching you make coffee 😀 or sharing make up looks. You are beautiful! 😊

Let me just say that growing older is very hard to accept at times because of all the physical changes and what’s on the outside doesn’t match the fact that I feel 35! It is a bit depressing at times when you’re struggling just to get your eye shadow right and you want that dewey, youthful skin. I totally understand those moments of sadness and loss we feel, I’ll be 55 this month and I still can’t believe it- where did the time go? You look beautiful and I’m not just saying that. I feel sure I’ll have to get an upper bleth soon, my eyelids literally are hanging a bit over the lid and I almost can’t stand it anymore. I’m not ready to just accept things, we are in our prime! Thanks for the time you put into all your videos, they make a positive impact on so many of us!

We all have days when we feel blah, why bother. Then look; you come back and tell us all the work you've accomplished! My late sister had dark complexion and I am ghostly pale I always wanted to be a bit darker and she wanted to be a bit lighter. It's a conundrum! Or menopause week!

I'm sure you have tried various skin creams to even out your skin tone but what works for me are medik8 cream & kiehls powerful strength line reducing concentrate.
They are expensive but worth every penny.
And obviously on top sun protection.
I'm 54 i never wear foundation unless I'm going out on a evening out.
And collagen shots really help also.

Getting older is not easy. After using a light weight dewy foundation I lightly powder only my T zone. And don’t even get me started on my heavily hooded eyes. Lol. I’m 63. This is life.

I am 55 and I started using in the last year the Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Foundation with SPF 45 and I use the Estee Lauder Powder Foundation as a finishing powder and it looks great!
Fantastic moisturizer but a bit grayish for olive toned skin

😂 That's ME 😁, the pink 🩷 piggy!! 🤣 It's so ironic, I've made myself late for 2 appts lately because I washed off my foundation?! I've never done that before. And my eyes looked so bad I smothered them in eye cream and NOW I have 3-4 Milla bumps under each eye!! So then I used Tretinoin to get rid of the bumps (still there) and now my eyes are super DRY, scaling, peeling & sore from exfoliating?! 🙄 My whole face just gets worse every day 😅. I don't know what it is?? Maybe the time of year? 🤷🏼♀️
I cannot do "barely there" eye looks, I need to create definition & contrast. Eyeshadow for me completely changes the way I look.👀 Oh boy I've got that Huda palette on my list. But I know I'm mostly disappointed with her small palettes, I wonder if these are the same... I do like a few of those Sigma palettes! 💕
As for my house, well nobody ever comes over so I've gotten horribly lazy. I let my Roomba run 3x a week, then I feel like I've done something.🥴 I love our long chats, hence my long responses! I don't do that for everyone. I get a fresh cup of tea & watch on my TV without scrolling on my phone. There are TV shows I don't even do that for 😄. I wonder what everyone is watching?? Btw... If you give up on the neck cream, consider a few bottles from the Agency, I think that's the UK version of Curology. An Rx of mild strength Tretinoin, Azelaic acid & Niacinamide would probably resolve it much quicker. It worked for me and a friend of mine. But probably be best not to self tan there for a bit.❤

Nisha, hello! I'm glad to see a new video from you. Beautiful make-up. Botox and other things are your own business, just giving advice is a thankless job. The skin will always become thinner with age, no one has yet left age-related changes. It's like sunrise and sunset, you can't stop time. I put on a lot of moisturizer, and at almost 65, I look as good as many of my girlfriends. But I don’t want to get too young, you have good eyelids, of course, before we were all younger and more beautiful, but it’s a sin for you to complain - you are very beautiful, much more beautiful. Many go to such extremes that one eye does not close, the other is lower, the skin turns blue after several lifts, like papyrus, and no creams help them. Everything in moderation, as they say: and Botox, and everything else. It's a personal matter and if you decide, it means you know better what is best for you. Video with Sigma shadows can be shot once a week, four palettes make a 10-minute video once a week on Sigma shadows from the new collection, do not torture your eyelids and eyes with long videos and makeup. It's my opinion. Even if you drink coffee and do everyday makeup - that's enough for me personally. Think of yourself first. Good health and sunny day.❤❤❤❤❤

I’m struggling with foundation too but in the marionette lines and they look like they have branches coming out to the sides. I’m considering filler for the first time and Botox as I have never had anything done. I’m 56 and I think now is the time! Love your chatty videos and don’t ever watch shorts. I hear you to, my eyes were always my best feature . Growing up people would always comment . They are green . Now my biggest regret is not appreciating my skin when I was younger. After 43 years in the beauty industry ,I cut way back on makeup after I retired . Now 10 years later I’ve started back and yes it’s a whole new animal ! I’m just trying to be ok with it all. The last Botox and fillers I did a few years ago didn’t last . I’ll be 69 in August…..

Hi Nisha Put some vaseline under your eyes and than concealer it helps me because it is so dry there 🤨Maybe it helps you good luck 👌🥰

Hi Nisha! Yes, I am a regular viewer of your videos and I really enjoy them so keep them coming lol! I know how you feel sometimes nothing looks good so that’s when I give myself a 24 to 48 hour break from all make up and hair and just take a breather. You’d be surprised when you go back to it how much better you think you look. But you look gorgeous always inside and out! Stay fabulous!💕

I think you look stunning! I will say in my case I really regret getting filler in the eye trough area (although I have asked for it again but most doctors here U.S. won’t do it anymore). Problem is the filler stretched out the skin under my eyes and as filler dissipated more skin looser and fine lines showed up. My doctor even used Sculptra so it would last a year but although loved the results I regret having it done

I've been derma-rolling for awhile just once a month and see improvement with my wrinkles. I've decided not to do fillers and botox for the time being. We'll see how long I can stand my wrinkles.
I bought the Marvelous Mauves palette after you did a GRWM sometime ago. I love it too.
Have you tried the Morphe Vintage Rose palette? It has good pay off, but I wish the colors were more on the pink/rosy side rather than brown and they tend to turn coral/orange on me.
Dry lips a big problem….I use Alpha H lip plumper….been brilliant 👍

I am 48 and feel that I don’t feel pretty more days then not, I’m chronically I’ll and it’s so hard to feel good, let alone look good, but we always have the beauty on the inside that will never grow old. I think that’s probably the number one complaint most of us aging women have, THE EYES!!!! Whyyyyy??? The sagging, the bags, the texture… it’s never ending. I’ve been using the beauty pie under eye corrector and it does help, I also use eye cream and rose hip oil under my eye then right before any makeup application I use the Bobbi brown eye base.when I powder I only use the IT cosmetic powder and what I do is dip my finger in it, press my finger on the inside cap to take off the excess then press under my eye only where the makeup gathers… anymore powder than that and I look like the crypt keeper…😂 I try to go lighter with my shadows ,minimal line then I go big with the mascara…if I had the finances for a blepharoplasty I would absolutely get it done. All we can do is keep smiling… and do the best with what we’ve got 😊
Or maybe we should not look in the mirror all day and just run around thinking we look great baggy eyes or not 😂😂😂

You are gorgeous. I don't know how old you are but I think you look incredible. Just found you on you tube and I love watching your tutorial on make up. I just turned 66 and trust me it is hard getting older but I think we just need to embrace it and love ourselves more. 😊
