Thank you for being a true STUDENT of that novel rather than just referring to things as "Orwellian." Most people who use the word have no specific idea what that means. I think it's also chilling that O'Brien's imagery about the system in which power is simply used to beget more power is that of a "boot stamping on a human face -- forever", and Floyd's death was a horrifying echo of that.

Who can help what's about to happen with Chauvin using The Barkley act which may potentially shorten his term in prison. Please tell a civil rights attorney, a civil rights movement, Mr. Sharpton. PLEASE
RIP Mr. George Floyd, DAUNTE and many more 🙏🏽😢🙏🏽🙌🙌🙌 may you ALL be vindicated.
We must make POLICE CARRY LIABILITY insurance so cities, counties and states won't go bankrupt behind having to pay off families of these brutal cops using excessive force, resulting in what we all witnessed with George Floyd. Once a cop has one too many excessive force charges and they can not be insured due to a high liability risk and they no longer can be insured therefore...no insurance, NO job! That would stop all this malarkey and keep cops guns in their holster where they belong. If a cops camera falls off their lapel twice they must be fired especially when there's a death involved. I see too many camera footage of these cameras conveniently falling but I hear a bunch of movement that the camera is being tampered with then a thump and it falls to the ground in these shooting chases. The cameras should have a snap on clip that prohibits any such thing from happening or a key that the sargent can be the only one to remove the camera once a shift is over. The camera clip must go through vigorous testing bcz I've watched some shady Videos too may times where it's sounds as if the officer is taking it off the camera and tampering with it, you can actually hear it...this must be ground for firing a police officer especially when a death or shooting take place. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
To make matters worse in Flodys case, right after the Judge repeated the jurys verdict to this poor excuse of a human being to The Rat CHAUVIN'S the JUDGE told CHAUVIN'S attorney that he can EXERCISE The BLAKLEY ACT... and you all BETTER KNOW THIS ISN'T GOOD and it's letting Chauvin off with a shorter sentance if we say NOTHING. I believe that it's illegal for a judge to instruct an attorney when he is suppose to be a bias party. When in history has any judge told the attorney of someone party who has in plain sight did what Chauvin did and charges in the matter of which Chauvin was charged and following the charged with the judge instructs ANY SIDE OF THE CASE WHAT TO DO TO LESSON THE TIME OF THE PERSON CHARGES IN THE CASE BY DIRECTING HIM TO FILE THE Barkley act? Which to me shows bias towards Chauvin in front of us ALL.
Chauvin did what he did with no shame what so ever, in front of the public and the world and in front of a, I believe 9 year old child. Chauvin has shown no remorse and is guilty of all charges and the Judge shouldn't directed CHAUVIN'S attorney to exercises the Blakely Act when he was beyond callous. I was like 😳 REALLY! I know this for a fact because I seen firsthand when dropping off my husband to San Quentin prison in the mid 1990's (he's was a lieutenant at San Quentin prison) and when dropping him off because his car was in the shop, I drove him to work and I seen a horrific sight that my instincts told me, even as tired as a was at around 6am or 7am. I seen nothing but Caucasian men marching in military formation and I was mortified bcz I knew there was something wrong with what I was looking at bcz WE ALL know there are mostly African Americans & Hispanics in the PRISON systems..so why in WORLD am I seeing only Caucasian men marching in San Quentin? My heart froze & I knew something was wrong with that picture so I called my husband a little later & asked him to please look in to the situation for me..it took him a few days but he later told me that it's an EXITING program and I said ok but if it's an exciting program why isn't there African Americans & Hispanics in this program when WE ALL KNOW African American& Hispanics are the ones who are locked in here in record Numbers. Therefore there should be more African Americans & Hispanics marching in this group than caucasians in this program. Yes and they will try to shorten Chauvin's time by him exercising the Blakley ACT. Please help
They are censoring my post. Indeed help.
What just happened.? This mean Chauvin can serve a lesser sentence on all charges. I was like what the hell just happened?

A note about the "robot dog":
It was not made by the police for the intent of policing. It was made by Boston Dynamics which is an incredible tech company. The police should not be using (or have the funding to use) Spot in this way but please don't demonize this technology just because the police are using it. If you want to do more research on it, look up Boston Dynamics and see some of the awesome applications for the robots they built.

The corruption that runs as a cancer through our policing communities is comparable to the corruption in our political arenas, our court systems, military branches, banking communities, pharmaceuticals, and even our medical professionals. Corruption is a global mainstream that has been allowed to run rampant for far to long. It’s time for a worldwide intervention by those much wiser than ourselves!!!

It's been broken down time and time again. At this point they are only pushing an agenda. They either foolishly want to feign ignorance and/or impede the progress of having this much needed shift in the system to make all people feel safer. The police keep using the excuse to kill people by saying they feared for their life. Can't continue to call them brave men and women of the law when other professionals don't come to the same conclusion of killing a difficult person in their presence. Teachers, nurses, social workers, and others have not lost a life while trying to deescalate a trying situation.

What just happened.? This mean Chauvin can serve a lesser sentence on all charges. I was like what the hell just happened?
In our prison systems in the U.S. Caucasian folks are offer this BLAKELY ACT where someone can get out of prison if they have never commit any prior crimes and it's basically an EXITING PROGRAM for caucasians...REALLY!? and WE should all be yelling at the top of our lungs about this because most poeple dont know this and we all should be giving kick back so he is not eligible due to the nature and callousness of his crime against Mr. Floyd.
WE ALL KNOW IT WAS MORE THAN HEARTLESS AND HEINOUS IN THE EYES OF ALL AMERICANS...AND Chauvin should not be eligible by all means with the nature of what he did and how he did it.
My message is being taken down. I have two phone's and I'll check to see if my post posted with my other phone and it's not. These SOCIAL media platforms should be sued for violation of our constitution rights for freedom of speech. I'm asking for people to repost EVERYWHERE and make this message go viral. Write it in your own word but get the message out or Chauvin will skip out of Prison sooner than not.
Someone NEEDS TO STEP IN AND VETO/CAN/STOP THIS PROCESS IN REFERENCE TO WHAT CHAUVIN IS TRYING TO GET AWAY WITH HERE BECAUSE HE HAS MANY MISCONDUCTS IN HIS HISTORY OF BEING A COP AND SHOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE DUE TO THE NATURE OF WHAT HE DID TO MR. FLOYD JUST ON HIS BLATANT HEINOUS COLD ACT OF HIM DOING WHAT HE DID IN PLAIN SIGHT, NOT SHOWING ANY REMORSE WHATSOEVER AND DID IT IN FRONT OF THE WORLD AND I BELIEVE A 9-YEAR-OLD GIRL Who was telling Chauvin to stop. Chauvin WITHOUT ANY SHAME OR ANY REMORSE did it in plain sight. This was a heinous ACT and he should not be eligible for The BLAKELY ACT.
He further looked in to it for me & told me that this program was only offered in predominantly Caucasian areas & not offered in African American neighborhoods or Hispanic neighborhoods, I was mortified. That is the cold blooded truth & bcz all my children were so small then, I couldn't shed light to the matter until now. 😩🥺😢
Please my post are being taken down, when I check with my other phone to see if it posted on the thread, it's not there...so I'm being censored. Please write about this everywhere you can, so we can lock up Chauvin for a long time so this discrimination can stop from the bottom, all the way up the latter. Enough is Enough!
This should be a HUGE LAWSUIT & it must be STOPPED RIGHT HERE & NOW WITH CHAUVIN CASE....ENOUGH IS ENOUGH people! Please!
THE BLAKELY ACT IS only available for people that have NOT committed a crime in the past & it must not be heinous & CHAUVIN should not be eligible for it & we ALL must make sure of that.
Please pass on the word before this crook Chauvin gets away with minimal time under the BLAKELY ACT. Please let someone know. ANYONE, the civil rights attorney. Please help to pass on the word
