Okay. I'll be honest here. It's now late night, I just chillin on the couch and remembered fckn Hank... yes... Hank Moody. I've watched this show literally when it came out. Since then, watched it 5 times...all seasons. Like a big fan of it. Now I just end up on this soo "memory-hits-hard" video and I'll probably start it again soon... thank you man for this great work. Despite all laughs and epic moments of Californication... this only made me feel nostalgic and sad about Hank, beyond everything he was in pain. Pain of not been with the love of his life and in a loving family with the one thing thay gave him the push to keep going... her daughter. Sorry for the letdown xD
If I rewatch only up to season 4. Season 1 to Season 4 is literally perfect. The story with Mia wraps up and the end scene where he drove off was peak Californication. After that it was just meh.
My husband and I loved watching Califonication, that show was rad, wish I knew how to rewatch it, was it on HBO or Showtime? Oh well, I loved David Duchovny and all the characters on the show so much.❤😅
@@bryandcruz3675 because... Hank really was the glue that held others together and that is pressure plus having to take care of oneself. He was self destructive in his ways and eventually that catches up to a person.
Despite what the characters did in this show, often times to each other, we still cared about all of them. You don't typically see that anymore.

Personal the best ending was season 4, after that It felt forced and not classical anymore. The story came to the perfect end.
