- The DBZ Collector here with a new figure that was recently added to my collection, the Grandista Resolution of Soldiers Super Saiyan Goku. Like the Resolution of Soldiers line but much, much, much bigger. Links to buy online below.

Just picked up the Majin Vegeta one from Gamestop today. Brand new, in box for 30 bucks. I had no intention of buying anything, but I absolutely had to!

Is it just me or does this figure cost way more than what it used to go for.
I actually prefer Goku Normal gi colour for this SSJ Hair, but those figures look gorgeous and their size is amazing ! It looks like what I would expect from Resolution of Soldiers smaller Goku version (in which bigger hair spike seems to be a bit odd and too large...)
I wonder why they stubbornly make one hair spike soooooo long. In resolution of soldiers it's ridiculously long and off the charts, in this figure it' looks better, but also seems a bit too long and .....from the wrong side than it should be:)) I really love how wonderfuly scuplted is Maximatic Goku's hair

I got the same figure from a store in my town but its... different?? Like way more paint and im pretty sure I got a knock off because the eyes didn't match the graphic on the box or your version in the video 😓
Wish I was able to see this video before I bought it.
Actually I just realized the box was way different. It was a black one and didn't have the toei sticker at all

Just bought this figure because of your review. However, just a question, I just noticed the packaging/box it came with is thinner (less durable) than the boxes of the other DBZ Grandista RoS figures. Is it really like that?
Hey great video! I'm not sure which one to get, this one (The Grandista RoF) or the Dragon Ball Super normal Goku Master Stars Piece.. The one I'm talking about can be seen in the back of your video (is the second Goku, the one in front of Gohan with red belt). Which one do you recommend me?? Keep the good work!
that's a tough one. personally, if i was given a choice i'd go with the grandista only b/c it's bigger. the grandista is 2.5 inches taller and is 4-7 dollars more, depending where you buy him from.
- sculpt wise they look equally great.
- i feel like the shading is a little too dark on both. it doesn't bother me but lighter shading would have been better.
- the paint quality looks better on the MSP Goku.
- the paint quality of Grandista ROS Goku's hair is the same as the normal ROS Goku and people think it's too shiny which they feel makes it look like a bootleg so I can see them thinking the same with the Grandista Goku. But since it's not a bootleg I say who cares.

Awesome channel. Please lend me advice to some of these new figures, and places to buy 100% official ones. I'm just starting with resolution of soldiers, dxf, and other 8inch pic statue types.
well the RoS have great sculpts and paint job. they sculptor's capture their likeness very well. i would highly recommend buying them.
the dxf figures are pretty nice too. the first dxf figures released were of SSG Goku, Beerus, Whis and SS Vegeta based off the Battle of Gods movie, they can be quite pricey. They have some based off of the Dragon Ball Heroes game, only 1 original DBH character; a male saiyan named Beat. the others are SS3 Goku, SS3 Vegeta, SS3 adult gotenks and 2 SS4 Gokus. the SS3 Vegeta/Goku and SS4 Goku are about 7 inches, and the others are 3-5 inches, around there. and the newest DXF figures from Dragon Ball Super. There is another line where the figures are about 6 inches, they go by different names; The Figure Collection, Super Figure Collection/Ultra Concrete Collection (pretty much the same name) and Cho Zou Shu (something like that) and they look pretty good too.
there is a series a few years old called HQDX. most figures are based off of DBZ (white boxes) and a few were rereleased and based off of Dragon Ball Kai (black boxes), their paint jobs are slightly different. i think because one is based of the coloring in the anime and the other based off the coloring in the manga.

also there are a few new dxf figures coming out based on Super Dragon Ball Heroes. places to buy. Ninoma, Amazon, eBay, ToyWiz, Big Bad Toy Store, eknightmedia, bandaionline and dendenhobby are my favorite.
Ninoma and DenDenHobby have the FES and DXF for sale. if you buy a bunch at once i'd go with DenDenHobby, the prices are more but it's free shipping so you'd pay less than Ninoma. for preorders you pay up front with Ninoma and i dn't believe you can cancel. With DenDenHobby (for preorders) you can choose to pay for everything up front or put down a small deposit, so with that you have to time save up before the figures release. i preordered like 15 things from them.
on ebay gogojapan-collection has all the Figure Collection toys but they are only sold toegether for over 300 which is like 30 bucks each. and they have tons of other great figures. they cost a few bucks more than other places.

I’m almost certain that is indeed a ss2 Goku.
two spikes down, means it's not a SSJ 2 Goku ,though one spike is sooo long it looks kind of ridiculous

Did you notice how the left shoe lace is twisted strange? its common with some of these figures and the feet are not completely flat when he stands. Its not completely flat, but it is something you may be bothered with.
