Just watched Courtney on Zachary Reality. TY RS for having Courtney on. Always enjoy listening to her outlook/thoughts on BN. That was so nice of her to reach out to Devin and want to help him.
I'm with Courtney when it comes to Devin as the "villain" on the show: during the season he actually acted a lot like Chok, something that can be shown or seen through the lens of being "all in on her" or "love bombing" etc. And the whole ATFR reminded me a lot of the Rachel/Tino breakup where yes the guy messed up, but the show sets it up in a way to put the lead on the pedastal and totally trash the guy and we aren't even allowed to hear his side so they have a story with black and white characters vs. the messy grey area where the truth lies. The difference, however, is more like what Steve says when it comes what we've seen in his behavior beyond the show: unlike Tino who owned up to where he messed up while also giving us a bigger picture of how things went down, Devin has seemed to try and cut and paste things to fit his narrative while also acting on his own social media in a way that makes him seem a lot like the bad guy the show made him out to be in real life. I'm here for it if he does go on Courtney's podcast, but as someone who didn't believe we got the full story of what went down with him on the show, so far the more of the "real" Devin we've seen since is really just making him look like an actual villain in real life.
